This completely remodeled 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home features brand new vinyl flooring throughout, custom-tiled bathrooms with modern fixtures, and a fully equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances. Located in Fort Lauderdale`s most historic neighborhood, you`re just minutes from Las Olas Boulevard and the beach.

The cottage is a cozy setting on the same property as the owner's house but it is very private. The cottage is located behind a gate and it has a separate entrance. We didn't see the owner, Oliver, but he was always quick to answer our questions and he wanted to ensure all was well. The cottage has been very renovated, and blends a historic site with modern style and conveniences. We also loved the historic Sailboat Bend neighborhood, convenient to Himmashee Village, the Broward Center and Las Olas and is a quick drive to the beach. Thank you, Oliver, for a lovely stay.

Great place

I had a great time in this area and would recommend anyone who wants to stay in a safe and clean neighborhood to stay at this rental. Close to everything in Fort Lauderdale and the owner of the rental is very accommodating and helpful.

Ft Lauderdale Stay

The property is in a really nice historic and quiet neighborhood. It has easy access to downtown and is in walking distance to the river walk. The house is a cute little cottage that was clean and comfortable. We had a great visit and would stay here again.

Lovely Visit!

I had such a lovely stay, that I extended my trip by 3 more days. So peaceful and relaxing with all the trees and space around the property. Loved my morning walks and being so close to Las Olas.

Peaceful, comfortable house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Oliver was very helpful with timely communication. We were in town awaiting a cruise and wanted to spend a few extra days in Ft Lauderdale to catch up with an old friend. Very glad we chose Oliver’s place—well stay here again!

Cozy Cottage In A Great Ft Lauderdale Neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay at this Vrbo property. It is close to the Riverwalk area of Ft Lauderdale and Sailboat Bend is a historic and interesting area to walk around. The host was friendly and made some outstanding restaurant recommendations.

Oliver was such a great host, the property is also in an amazing location. I was staying in the property by myself and felt extremely safe. I loved my morning and evening walks in the neighborhood. Being so close to Las Olas was also another plus. I'll definitely be staying here again soon!

Quaint area

Lovely neighborhood. Great for walking and peaceful meditations. Host was outstanding! I stayed in the larger part of the rental which had everything you need.

Great place to stay

I needed a place for my parents for 3 nights. Oliver was gracious and offered a last minute discount and was extremely accommodating towards my parents. My parents loved the property, as they expressed that they felt safe and the property was very clean and comfortable for them!

Fun little cottage in a great neighborhood!

We loved this cottage for its location and privacy. It's got a great fenced in yard with parking for 2 behind a gate. The house is small and a little quirky, but awesome for a quick stay in Fort Lauderdale. The landlord is absolutely the best!! Great communication! Our flight was delayed and we arrived very late, but this was no problem. Would definitely stay here again!

The property is a large, enclosed lot with tons of trees that make you feel the lushness of the flora. It is located across the street from a nice sized public area on a branch of the New River.

NYE weekend

Great location for our purposes. Walked all over to restaurants shopping misc venue. The owner was very communicative and helpful. The house did not have many items available as I’m used to for a VRBO but it had all the basics and was clean and cozy. Oliver was great and thanks for the blow dryer!

Riverwalk cottage

The location of this cottage was perfect for anyone who enjoys walking. The scenic Riverwalk is very close & I used it every day. Also a great place for dog owners. Big yard & parks literally across the street. The area is very dog friendly. The cottage was as described with nice clean floors! Host was very friendly & communicative. If we return to this area we would stay here again.

Best Property Manager Ever!

We've stayed at dozens of VRBO sites around the country. Whenever we travel, we use VRBO. Comparing Oliver to the other 3 dozen proprietors We've met, Oliver blows them all away with his helpfulness, attentiveness, and response time. The little two bedroom bungalow is cute and fun, but what makes the place special is Oliver.

I am originally from Los Angeles, California. I moved to New York City when I was 20 years old where I worked for Levi Strauss. Then went on to developing my own textile business in Como, Italy. I have traveled the world enjoying the hospitability business. I moved to Florida in 1992. In 2005 I sold my textile company and went into the Real Estate / Developing properties in South Florida. I purchased the property 20 years ago for future development. Our company V&V Real Estate Development, specializing in vacation rental properties. We've been developing vacation rental properties for the past 15 years.

This is a family neighborhood that is extremely pet friendly, with multiple dog parks within walking distance. This property is truly in a great location.
