Eagle Cliff Suite1, a cute 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath private suite, is part of the historic Eagle Cliff Inn house in Geneva-on-the-Lake. Listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the 140-year-old former inn is in the heart of the village and located directly across the street from Lake Erie. Break away from it all in the Bungalow in this ideal location while enjoying the convenience of everything the Strip has to offer!
The Suite has 1 queen bed and 1 full sleeper sofa, accommodating up to 4 people. Prepare home cooked meals in the fully stocked kitchen equipped with cookware, plates, glassware and silverware, and fresh linens and towels are provided for your convenience in the bathroom. A/C, cable TV, and wireless internet amenities are included, and with the Strip right outside your door and Township Park just a short walk away, a full day of activities await. Unwind on the porch with a glass of wine in the evening – 2 lakefront wineries are within walking distance – or make friends at one of the community wood fire pits right on property.

We had a great get a way for our anniversary this past week. The Inn is nice and our sweet was completely remodeled inside. Very clean and comfort for us and our dog. The kitchen has minimal supplies (like 5 glasses and service for 4) but we had what we need! The outdoor area was great! We had coffee on the porch each morning and fires in the evenings. A ton of firewood is provided too! Everyone in GOTL is so people and pet friendly! Thank you Matt for such a wonderful stay!

Good location on the strip but not in the busy part. Everything is walking distance. It was a great place to stay with dogs because the park is right down the road.

The lake view was great. It was very boring though. We didn’t realize everything would be closed. Very disappointed that many of the restaurants were closed. We were looking forward to getting donuts going to Eddies grill and getting wine at the firehouse winery. Everything was closed. It was like a ghostown. I wish we were aware of that before booking the stay.

Nice, private, and clean

We only had a one-night stay, but we enjoyed being able to make our own coffee and an easy morning, this was just the place.

Quaint cottage feel

We highly enjoyed our stay. Property was as listed, very clean, nice aroma, well stocked. Perfect for 2 people or 2+ small human. The property owner was very responsive and timely.

The lady that was apparently the property watch person/ Karen got on my nerves and they were loud.

I don't need a babysitter while I'm vacationing. I don't need a Karen to watch me the whole fkn time!

Location and Property are Great, but...

We recently stayed at a beautifully updated property with a great location and a charming porch that was perfect for relaxing. The property manager was also very responsive, promptly providing a blow dryer when requested. However, the experience was marred by a significant issue: the mattress was stained and uncomfortable. Per the instructions, we were to strip the bed, and upon doing this, we were very surprised to see what were had been sleeping on.... The bed is very soft, but that was definitely not the issue once we stripped the bed. Despite the property's many positives, this drawback was substantial enough that I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Don't expect too much

Below average. Interior though looking clean some areas were not. Floor dirty. No area rugs area out side front door had standing water awhen other people in house next door as the AC ran and dropped by door. Shades hung poorly and fell when moved to allow light in when electricity went out. The deck floor of porch was filthy and looked just like it did on our stat two years ago. Out door furniture dirty. Indoor furniture felt dirty. No closets for hanging cloth there was no plug in tub. To hold bath water. Loved the lication. like at front door and kitchen sink. .Also

Not as advertised!

I helped an Amish couple by renting thus for them to help celebrate the wife's 50th Birthday back in the Fall (2022). There was no mention in the listing that there would be construction, with lots of loud noise going on during their stay. I feel terrible that their first morning there started with loud power tools and banging waking them up. I only just found out about this now, in February, when I contacted them about some work I need an estimate on. The husband is, himself, a carpenter...a really good, HONEST one, and had I known he couldn't even get away from the mere sound of all that work, I would never have booked this VRBO for them. He DID call the owner's contact number, and was told that the owner would be notified. Our friends received no response, and decided not to stay at the apartment for the rest of their getaway. They lost the rest of what they paid (they reimbursed me beforehand for the stay), and found a nicer place to stay with some wonderful property owners, meaning their trip was more expensive, but at least much more enjoyable. I am a landlord myself, and live by the Golden Rule. It would be nice if THIS owner did too.

Wow…

Looks sure can be deceiving. Our first night there, we got in late but everything appeared to be pretty clean and a nice space. Other reviewers were correct, the toilet paper/paper towels were horrible and the hand soap is very watered down. The bed is pretty uncomfortable and noisy, too. At 7:45am the next morning, a Saturday, we were woken up by the sound of LOUD POUNDING, SAWS, and HORRIBLE country music in the space next to ours. The pounding was so bad it shook the entire space. I have no idea why you would ever let renovations be done on a Saturday morning while you know there are guests staying in the space. Especially when it shares a wall with the space being worked on. Very unprofessional and downright rude owners to ever let that happen. I know the price is attractive and it looks great in the photos, but our experience Saturday morning almost ruined our weekend. Who knows when the renovations will be done, but by the looks of it, they had a long way to go. I wouldn’t even consider staying here again. I’d look at all my other options first and if I couldn’t stay at any of them, I still wouldn’t stay here again. Strongly urge you to look elsewhere, unless you like terrible country music.

4th Weekend

We were very happy with the accommodations, everything was provide for you - full kitchen, with utensils and pots and pans. Towels for the bathroom were nice to use, not your typical rough towels. Everything was very clean. Nice area to be at, a little bit away from the hustle and bustle but was a nice place to stay. Awesome view of the fireworks from the back yard sitting around the firepits.

3rd annual gathering of friends!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, for a third year in a row!!! Our large group of friends are able to stay in the same area and enjoy communal gathering spaces on site! Enough housing options here to build the vacation that fits your needs perfectly… Whether it be several individual groups in cottages together or one house for a larger family!!! Owner and management are incredibly easy to contact, property is nicely maintained and each year there are new updates to the units! We look forward to coming back next year! Thank you!

we have stayed twice in the same room number 1 and we love it there .. our friends have also stayed twice with us but they have stayed in different areas on the property so we have got to see alot .. we love to have bonfires at night and theyre always room for us to sit its just so relaxing and nice

Cozy stay in Geneva on the Lake

Late season stay. The unit was very clean, the bed was comfy, and we had a comfortable stay. Just a couple of things to be aware of is the water pressure is very low in the shower, but if you like a bath, no problem. The bedroom door doesn't close. There is no local TV stations but they do have ROKU and WIFI. There is a tavern next store so it's not uncommon to hear motorcycles until closing. Other than that, we had a great stay. We would stay there again.
