Rental agreement and photo ID required within 24 hours of booking. The home accommodates up to 6 adults with an additional 2 children (ages 12 and younger). All visiting guests need to be pre-approved for liability reasons, please message host with any special requests. Exceeding maximum occupancy of 8 persons (more than 6 adults) without previous communication with the host for approval, may result in termination of stay without refund.

There are security cameras outside of the house, at the front and back door.

$500 security deposit HOLD will be placed on CC 1 day before arrival and will be released within 7 days of departure.

A great place to stay

This is the second time we stayed at this house- it is a great place- beautiful scenery, everything available that you could possibly need, and very clean. Also, it is close to downtown Gainesville and some beautiful walking trails too.

Such a wonderful place. Great place to get away and rest. Quiet and cozy for family time. Great gameroom to play in. Relaxing at the dock was great. Whole home was beautiful. So clean. Beds were so comfortable. We loved seeing the wild like in the back yard.

A relaxing weekend on the lake

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and just as nice as the pictures show. It is located about 15-20 minutes drive from any major development so the area is low traffic and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked which was nice for us because we cook at home most of the time. I plan to be back in the Gainesville, GA area again in a few months for work and will stay here again.

Exquisite gem

I'm not the best sleeper, but this cottage is quiet, clean, comfortable, and we both wished we had the schedule to stay longer. It's deeply relaxing, bright, beautiful & I wouldn't change a thing. Hoping to return when we have more time.

Best lake vacation spot! Fish on!

Our family had an absolute blast at Lakeview Landing! The house is beautiful and luxurious! Top of the line amenities, including chef’s kitchen, garage game room and comfy, cozy beds in each room! The outdoor deck was fabulous to enjoy dinner and watching the sunset. Our children enjoyed making s’mores in the backyard fire pit. And to top it off, the dock with kayaks and fishing was so much fun! The fish were biting and kept us reeling for more each day! We can’t wait to visit again!

Wonderful home!

Wonderful home! We stayed this past week for our Thanksgiving holiday along with celebrating our 20th anniversary with our two children a 16y/o and a18y/o From this start, I could tell this home was a labor of love for the owners, from excellent communication prior to stay to a fully stocked home with all that you will need or all you may have forgotten to bring. This home was a great space to spread out. It was beautiful, clean and modern.

GREAT GETAWAY AT A BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY

The property was picture perfect. The inside of the house felt like a cozy cottage and was well stocked with everything you could need. The pictures on VRBO were very accurate. The view in the back yard was amazing. In the morning and at dusk deer would come in the back yard and graze. It was the perfect getaway to disconnect and recharge. We brought our boat and really enjoyed the lake too. Owners were great too! We would highly recommend!!!

Best lake cabin for a relaxing vacation!

Lara and Bill’s lake house is one of our favorite rental homes we’ve ever stayed in. Our family has all ages, and everyone loved the home. Plenty of games and activities for those who want to be active, and it is impeccably decorated and comfortable if you want to relax inside or outside also. We were surprised at how high quality appliances and furniture were in the home, and the house was stocked with all necessities so we didn’t have to go to the store. Lara and Bill left a gift basket for us upon arrival and communicated quickly and provided lots of information about the area. If we are back in the area, we will definitely stay again!

The most perfect getaway

When booking a place to stay on Lake Lanier, we wanted a beautiful retreat where we could relax, unwind, and enjoy family time. This house exceeded our expectations in every way. It is even more beautiful in person. Every detail is thought of - from the spacious gameroom and board games to the well-stocked kitchen to the breathtaking outdoor patios, fire pit, and dock. The beds so comfortable, and the space is just perfect. We barely left the house because we were just so happy there. My husband and I loved it, and so did our kids who vary in age from 6 to 16. The hosts are thoughtful and easy to reach. If you’re looking for a quiet lakeside getaway with all the luxuries you can imagine, this is your place. I look forward to returning again.

Great house and easy access to surrounding areas

The house was more than we expected. It was clean, beautifully appointed, and filled with everything we needed for a quick weekend away from the stressors of day to day life. We loved using the dock and kayaks, just a short walk down to the lake. The games in the garage were a lot of fun, especially ping pong and the poker table. And, the front yard was a perfect location to throw the football or play bocce ball. The kitchen had great pots and pans (a frequent issue at other rentals), so cooking meals was easier. The beds were comfy with super soft sheets and amazing black-out window treatments. If we had to point out any cons, the 2 things that came up are creaky floors above the master bedroom and close proximity to neighbors. But, those issues were so small compared to all of the great things the house has to offer. Hope to be back soon! Thanks, Lara, for sharing your home!

Spectacular Home

This is the best rental we have ever stayed in. It’s beautifully decorated. All the little details That most rentals overlook were added by the owners to make our stay pleasant from the water in the fridge to the s’mores kit for the fire pit. They’ve thought of everything. It’s definitely a gem on the lake.

Peaceful Retreat

Lakeview Landing Lanier provided the most perfect escape for our family. It was a welcome reprieve following our long drive south from MI to visit family. Our group included 3 young kids ages 3-6, a set of grandparents as well as the husband and myself. We all agreed this was one of the best trips we've taken together. The house is perfectly stocked, oh so comfortable and beautifuly decorated. The kids (and adults) LOVED the game garage, kayaks, fishing, enjoying the sunset from the huge deck and dock. During our 3 day stay we were able to hike the Amicalola falls, spend a day on the lake (rented a pontoon boat from Gainesville Marina) and get downtown Atlanta to visit the Georgia Aquarium and other hot spots. The back deck is perfect for an outdoor movie so bring your projector and screen! My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. I can't recommend this place enough, you're in for a real treat here. 💗

Perfect getaway

Summer vacation

Great place on Lake Lanier truly a 5 star experience…stop looking & book. If you need a boat or jet ski call Captain Watersports. Jamie the owner was superb he delivered the boat to the dock & picked it up the next day it was seamless. Check out Gainesville it has plenty to eat & drink and take a drive to Helen to do some river tubing.

Last Summer Trip ‘22

We had an amazing experience staying here on Lake Lanier! The home was beautifully decorated, perfectly equipped, and very clean! Perfect stay

Couldn't have asked for more! We had an amazing time at this beautiful property. The views are idyllic. Lara is an amazing host and was so responsive with questions. It was the first VRBO we have stayed at that we felt nothing was missing. The kids loved the game room and it kept them occupied when we weren't on the lake. Lara recommended a boat rental company that delivered right to the dock. 5 stars and we will be back! Thank you.

Beautiful home !!

We were fortunate enough to stay at this amazing home for 4th of July weekend. The house is immaculate and the decor is stunning. Everything you could have needed was provided! We had 2 families of 4 and there was plenty of room. The kids (and adults) enjoyed the gameroom and being able to swim right off the dock. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Return Visit

We've been renting houses along Lake Lanier every summer since 2014 (all good experiences), but this is the first house we have returned to. The layout is great, the house has a great vibe, the short walk to the dock is easy, and our favorite part is the deck in the back. I started every morning reading a book and just enjoying the outdoor from there. The host was great and responsive to any question or request we had. 10/10 recommend this house.

Relaxing getaway

The perfect spot for a visit with our granddaughter! The house is beautifully decorated and furnished with everything we needed and more. We loved spending time outside at the dock and on the decks. Very quiet and peaceful area, still close to restaurants and shopping. We would definitely come back for another visit.

2020 prevented us from some of our planned travels and spent more time at our local lake (Lanier) quickly fell in love with a charming lakeside cottage and are starting our first VRBO at our luxurious modern farmhouse with spectacular sunset views over the lake. We hope our guests will love it as much as we do and we strive to deliver a 5-star experience filled with amazing memories for your family! “Memories made at the lake last a lifetime”

There is so much this cozy cottage has to offer, let the hours drift by while you are busy building lasting memories. In addition to all that the lake has to offer in the summertime the fall and winter also have just as much for you to enjoy! Your children will love roaming the property and scavenging to find all of the unique birdhouses and climbing an old chicken coop, fishing off the dock and roasting s’mores by the firepit or playing ping pong and shuffleboard in the “Game Garage”.

Find your inner Paula Deen in our fully stocked chefs kitchen for you to enjoy cooking up some delicious bites. It also has a crockpot if you would prefer to fix it and forget it. Enjoy time spent sitting around the large dining table indoors or on the back deck. In the mornings we have a dual Keurig coffee pot & pod maker and provide ground coffee some cream and sugar to get you started on your first few mornings or you may have a favorite Keurig k-cup that you would prefer to bring and enjoy.

The master bedroom with king bed has an office setup and private balcony with Lakeview is located on the main floor with large walk-in closet and extra large walk-in shower with dual shower heads.
Upstairs you will find a loft with a daybed sofa with trundle bed underneath and a fun hangout area and 2 bedrooms with queen beds in each, one of them has a stunning Lakeview as you wake up in the morning and sip your coffee in bed.
