Orée du Bois rez de chaussée
We really liked the cosy feel in the apartment, the lovely view and the small garden with comfortable terrace furniture. The rooms are mostly spacious and bright. Well organized spaces. Close to the Bisse and the wood for nice walks, and to the remontée mécanique! The building is well organized and clean. We were really happy there! And thank you for letting our dog stay: he too was happy.
A big thank you for instantly helping us out with the blocked drain and the hot water in the kitchen!
The organisation of two of the three bedrooms was not up to the standard of accomodating 4 people (the master bedroom is exquisite!): Bunk bed with only a foam mattress, very small divan "bed" with hard board on the upper side of the "mattress" (it's more like a camp bed..., and fits 1 person). The bath in the bathroom was not clean and the drain was stuck... Tap not in order, just like the defectuous hot water tap in the kitchen. In the kitchen we missed a mixer (for making soup for example).
Electricity: one if us got a small electric shock when switching on/off a bedside lamp in the master bedroom!! (The back with the screws is open!). The ceiling lamps are nice, but hanging too low (we bumped our heads constantly. Yes, some of us are very tall.). The electricity in the room next to the bathroom is questionable: long cables coming out of the plints and walls, not really working? The blinds in the living room corner are difficult to handle, especially with one handle which misses a "turning pipe". Curtains: stopper needed at the garden door next to the dining table and maybe some curtains in the bedrooms on the garden side would be helpful.
