The neighborhood is Guayaquil's Centro, conveniently located 7-10 minute eastward walk to Malecon 2000; 10-15 minute northward walk to the artsy and lively Las Peñas area. Other areas that are within a 15 minute walk: Parque Centenario; Registro Civil; Federacion Deportivo de Guayas; and Parque Seminario. Very close to clothing stores and supermarkets.

Walking is your best option if you're looking to explore the centro. Otherwise, the buses are readily accessible as well as taxis which constantly pass by the intersecting street, Avenida Boyacá.

My administrator could provide a City Tour (day or night) of Guayaquil so you can get a better feel of the city. She can also provide a culinary tour of the city so you can try coastal Ecuadorian food. Lastly, as a native Guayaquileña, she can take you to various different locations, outside of the tourist zones, so you can experience an authentic and genuine stay within Guayaquil. She speaks English and Spanish.
