Great for a beach vacation, this well equipped condo has everything you need! Plus, the Ocean Park Resort has tons of amenities and perks everyone will enjoy!

The big draw to this property is how overly pet friendly it is! Some say it even caters more to dogs than to people. Onsite services include FURology Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and sundeck for guests to enjoy.

THINGS TO KNOW
All Oceana Resort properties are equipped with one or more rental boxes. Our guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program offers one free ticket from up to three partners per reservation, and additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites.This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina LLC.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Good bang for the buck.

Over all good stay.Will cone back.Needs TLC. Fridge rough door does not shut proper. Cabinets rough also.Great view. See you in summer.

Perfect ocean view and good water pressure in shower, new blue sofa and chair, two separate TVs. Relatively clean, no smell or roaches in unit. Not recommended though if you need a good night sleep. Old overused beds which one is buldging and noisy. Kitchen unit is useful but fridge door, which is installed incorrectly to opposite side as should, locked us out once. Very scary because my service dog was separated from me through this incident. Overall the condo is nice and we might book it again but the hotel itself got very low in their standards. Lazy front desk associates and no service at all. Dirty pet relieve area at times. Overall very dirty facility. We are returning guests since years, so we are really able to tell the difference through the years. Needs lots of upgrades. It might be time to find some other accommodation. Very sad.

Nice location and great price

The only negative we had was the constant people smoking on the balconies (supposed to be a non-smoking area). The room was very clean, and right on the beach.

Our unit was clean and ready for early check in. The kitchen cabinets could use a little love. The refrigerator really needs to be rethought. You can not open it if the bedroom door is closed. The balcony was amazing. I was sad to see that the murphy bed in the photos is actually not there. The hide a bed was not too terribly uncomfortable. Fortunately i brought my own sheets and bedding (for the murphy bed) because the room only had 1 extra pillow and blanket in the closet. Im sure the front desk would be able to accommodate if needed. I will likely rent this exact unit again. We really enjoyed its location on the strip and in the building.

Left my AirPods in the room

Overall the stay was good. The room was exactly how it was advertised. The pool/hot tub area was clean. I did leave my AirPods in the room and called to get them back. They wanted $25 before they even looked to see if they were in the room and said they wouldn’t refund it even if they weren’t left. I had a 10 hour ride home and unfortunately didn’t find them. It sucks because I need them for my chemo treatments and highly doubt they were “found”

Overall Disappointed

Pros- great access to the beach, lady at the front desk very nice and helpful. She made us feel welcomed and was professional. The Maintenance came right away to handle an odor in the room. Pet friendly location with multiple pools and hot stubs. Cons- I paid $238 for 1 night and my room was dirty and did not look nowhere as decent as the picture. The paper towels in the kitchen and toilet paper were used from the previous guest. There was a toilet bowl brush next to the toilet that had feces in it. The white walls were dirty all over the place. My family slept in chairs and the sofa covered with towels we brought because they did not feel comfortable sleeping in the bed. The silverware in the drawer had smudges and looked unsanitary. The coffee pot had rust on the hot plate. Bathtub had paint chipping all over and the shower curtain had smudges. Just an array of problems. If I wasn't in a time crunch I would have moved my family to another hotel.

Great place to stay

The furniture has been updated from the pics. It's beautiful an comfortable Very clean an fit out family perfectly. Everyone is pleasant polite and helpful. The dogs enjoyed the stay just as much as we did. We have been 4 times and will pick this hotel everytime. Thank you!

Parking

The parking spaces needs to be explained better, when looking at the details we took it as a secondary driver could park across the road, that was not the case. We were told they could park 10 min down the road and pay for parking. That was not an option due to not being able to see the vehicle if we needed to make sure it was ok. The lady at the front desk finally gave a second pass but it needs to be made out clearer bc a family with 6 people may not be able to all fit in one vehicle

Beware! Horrible, save your money!

Waited at check in for about 20 minutes before someone finally showing up. My brother actually got kicked out because his dog looked more than 40 pounds. Meanwhile they had a Cane Corso and a standard poodle staying at the hotel. My bulldog was actually 60 lbs, but I had to tell this lady (she’s horrible, heavyset short red hair) that he was 40 lbs order for us to stay. But yet my brothers was kicked out. Whatever. Hotel room was not the cleanest. Everything is old and outdated. Pictures were deceiving. Oh and parking was a pain. They were “over booked” so we had to pay for parking at our expense when continually to let ppl book was their own problem. Asked for a second car pass, we had 2 families, stayed in a room with 3 beds, so we were allowed 2 parking pass. But Red said no. Don’t worry about us staying here ever again.

Would stay again.

Nice size balcony, but room floors where dirty, and bathroom tub barley drained..... The hotel was pet friendly and that is why we stayed there and we enjoyed that. Only major complaint was we payed for late check out for 2pm but the cleaners where trying to get in our room at 9 am every 30 mins till like 11 as we where trying to sleep I finally called the front desk and it stopped. But overall we would stay again so we can bring our dog.

Long weekend escape

This was our 2nd time staying at Ocean Park. My husband and I have grown children, so our dog Ellie Mae is like our child. She definitely listens better than our children ever did. We are so grateful for Ocean Park for allowing our dog to come with us. Many hotels claim to be pet friendly, but have a restriction of “dogs” weighing 20 lbs or less. This resort is good if you do have a dog. It has the basic amenities that allow you to enjoy Myrtle Beach anytime of year. It was chilly this weekend, but we still enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, indoor pool and indoor hot tub one night during heavy wind and rain. The only thing I will say is I witnessed from our ocean front balcony twice pet owners not being responsible and cleaning up after their pet. I would encourage ANY pet owner to please be responsible and not ruin this for the rest of us. Clean up after your pet and follow the rules of the resort. Thank you for an excellent get away. We will definitely visit this resort again.

I have never left a negative review. This place was so awful. I would never stay here again . I was sad this was the experience my kids will remember. We never took our shoes off and I bought my own cleaning supplies just so I could make it thru the week. Only stay here if you want to overpay for a run down dirty hotel at Myrtle

Nice vacation

We had a nice week at ocean park resort. The room was a little small and I didn’t like walking into the bedroom first. The sofa in the living room needs to be changed. Very uncomfortable room to hang out in. We did enjoy having our little dog with us and it was overall a great place. We will be back!!!

Great experience

This room had a great view and so roomy and clean. And pet friendly you couldn’t get better. We enjoyed our stay here. The parking lots are big especially if you have a big truck you can park across the street.
