Good stay

Pros: on the beach, spacious, free breakfast, free put put, pool, washer/dryer, convenient location to Broadway and Convention center. Cons: some of the front desk staff is rude, hot tub out of order some days, parking one block away and fills quickly, door code is sensitive, while the breakfast is free they serve the same thing everyday, dated furniture in condo

Middle of the road place

Overall an average room. Location is great, especially if you are in town for a Ripkin baseball tournament. Included breakfast buffet is OK, nothing spectacular. Im ok with average, so for the price we were satisfied. Some furniture upgrades would be nice for relaxing at night, or when its raining.

Wonderful condo and amenities

Loved the oceanfront view! Easy check in. We enjoyed the free daily breakfast and free mini golf . This is the place to stay at if you have kids. Condo was clean and spacious enough for a family of six. I would have given it five stars if they had a blow dryer in the bathroom. The one time I didn’t bring mine and there was no blow dryer. Some more cookware would be nice also. But overall, we had an awesome time! Thank you Vacasa, we’ll be back next year.

We first arrived got a text from Vacasa asking how clean room was. Well! I took shower from a 11hr drive. In the bathroom there was a pile of dust/dirt in the corners of bath room. There even was 2 types of different hairs in the corners as well. Got out ot shower to grab towl. I always look! There was 3 spots of dried blood on towel! Didn't they wash these sheets in very hot water?? Also shower pressure was terrible. Was like taking a bird bath. We left after my shower got a call from the front desk. Maintenance was knocking on the door about the survey I just filled out. Front desk told me when I get to my room call and maintenance guy will come back up to look over my complaints. Soon as we got up to our room the door was wide open and to our surprises and maintenance guy in our room with all our belongings and jewelry all laid out. Nothing was taken. But I was amazed someone would enter our room without our permission!! Parking garages across the street which sounds not a big deal. But when walking back and forth several times during the day it does take a toll. Rest of the room was dirty. And each of the kitchen cabinets especially the bottom ones was very nasty. The people that work there are great. Except they think they can walk in your room anytime they want! They refund us the cleaning charge of like $55. Shit i would pay another $55 to have a clean place. We will not return here. Next time I'm going to spend the extra money to actually stay at a clean place. Oh! We took shoes and socks off when we first got there! Just a little walking around in the room and both of our bottom feet was black!

Great room, definitely recommend

Great for the location and price. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star review is the parking garage is a block over so that was a minor inconvenience and there is no Netflix or streaming service (although they do provide dvd rentals) but... it would be nice to have a streaming service instead (we stream now..dvds are yesterday's news). Other than that, the room is clean, they check in with you to make sure everything is good, the staff is friendly, and there are lots of perks for staying with them. Highly recommend.

Vacation at the Carolinian

We had an “okay” experience due to miscommunication from the host and we weren’t able to get in at first. The place was clean and we even had free breakfast the next morning.

Great overall experience

The beach view from the balcony was beautiful! Loved having washer & dryer on hand. We had breakfast included each day, as well as mini golf, water park admittance, & movie rentals-we took advantage of all of these. We also enjoyed some pool/hot tub/lazy river time. My only complaint would be that the mattress on the pull-out couch was disgusting; my son ended up just sleeping on the couch folded up. Otherwise, everything was great and would definitely stay here again!

Vacation with grandson and his friend.

The rooms clean. I wish there were rugs in the living room and bedroom. The washer & dryer were great ( dryer better then mine at home). There needs to be a cookie sheet in the kitchen. We had a great time and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Gem on the beach

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Comfy beds, ample space, close to everything we enjoy, right on the beach. CLEAN. Loved every minute. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely stay again. This was our 3rd stay here.

We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean, water was hot, washer/dryer was a bonus. Free breakfast buffet was great and the hot tub was perfect after a long day at the car show. It was a true 1 bedroom, not a shotgun walk thru bedroom to get to the kitchen. Perfect place to stay to walk to the Run to the Sun car show.

Great location

Location was great, view was awesome. Daily buffet breakfast included at Magnolia's a block away for no charge was nice. The bath tub is very large and tall and has one grab bar on the inside wall but could use a grab bar closer to the edge of the tub for safety. The sleeper sofa either needs to be replaced or at the very least the mattress on the pull out sofa needs to be replaced. A cookie sheet is also needed. Other then those things the condo had almost everything you needed. In unit washer and dryer were very handy. Had a very large noisy family with 8 screaming children next door jumping on beds and crashing into walls all day and night. After 2 days of hoping they would settle down called front desk who contacted them and took care of the issue fir the most part. Front desk was very helpful. Would stay here again.

This was our first stay at the Carolinian Beach Resort. The room we stayed in (831) was very nice. It was clean and had a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. Check-in was very easy. The girl that checked us in was very nice and personable. We will be back!!

Very nice but noisy.

Right on the beach with a beautiful beach view. It was nice to have a little kitchen during covid. Breakfast was a short block away. It was included in our stay. We were able to walk to a small grocery store and a few restaurants within 6-8 blocks. It was a little too noisy for me so it was hard to get a good night sleep. It seemed as though voices really echoed in the hallway and people were not considerate of others possibly trying to sleep. We had problems with our key cards quite a bit not opening our room, also another family accidently came into our room when they had apparently been given the wrong room number and key cards at check in. Luckily we were in our room at the time.

We had a wonderful time!

Loved the view and the free breakfast. The size of the room was a plus! The location was great and the staff was all very friendly. Check-in and out was a breeze! We would certainly stay here again!!
