The mountains are calling.... Oak Hill Inn offers 3 charming rooms each with private entrance and bathroom. The perfect location with a short 5 min. walk to the heart of down town. Our Inn boasts rustic charm with modern comforts!! We're family owned and operated for over 30 years and take pride in making our guests feel welcome!

We offer 3 individual charming private rooms available for rent at Oak Hill Inn. The space includes a queen bed, private bathroom, private entrance, dining set (in-room table and chairs), flat screen TV, dining ware, Keurig, and mini refrigerator. The perfect accommodations for 2 adults.

Our Room #3 is in the lower level of the main house. The Inn keepers (Mike, Laura, 2 kids, 1 dog and 3 cats) do live up stair so please understand you will hear foot steps.

If your looking to enjoy the rest of Julian you are just steps away to the heart of down town. Wonderful restaurants, shopping, wineries, apple pie, breweries, gold mine tours, etc. Or take an afternoon and enjoy a short drive to explore Lake Cuyamaca, Volcan Mountain, the Nature Center in Santa Ysabel or tour the Wolf Center.

Parking is located on Coleman Circle next to the stairs that lead up to the Inn. Mike & Laura will be glad to assist you with your luggage if you need help up the stair and/or any other special accommodations. ***
Please note we do have a lot of stairs. Call or message us ahead of time with any concerns so we can be plan ahead and make your stay as comfortable as possible.

***For the safety and comfort of all our guest there is absolutely NO SMOKING of any kind in our rooms OR on the property.
***We do not accommodate children under 12yrs.
***Do to sever allergic reaction to any future guest no pets, service animals or emotional support animals are allowed in our guest rooms. We apologize for any inconvenience but our rooms are carpeted and we keep the health and safety of all our guest a top priority.

A Pleasant Place

We enjoyed our stay in Julian at the Oak Hill Inn. We liked the responsiveness of the owners Mike and Laura, the quaint accommodations, and easy access to downtown and interesting sights.

Julian retreat

Loved this Julian getaway. Laura the host and owner of the Inn greeted us on our arrival. Showed us our cute room with the fireplace and "the tavern" to hang out in as well in which we did. Had a wonderful time, we will definetly return next time we viist Juian. Thank you.

Great cottage

Cozy place to stay for the weekend. Accessing the propertty was a little difficult, i recommend packing very light as the stairs can be difficult to manage with a full size suitcase. The pool was beautiful to swim in and the cat roaming the grounds was super friendly. I could not figure out the honor bar venmo, i wish there was a QR code for the honor bar.

Oak Hill Inn Julian CA

We stayed here a week. We enjoyed the proximity to town for walking. The tavern located at the pool was on the honor system and super convenient, stocked with snacks/adult beverages. The sun shone on the pool most all day, which was nice with an umbrella should you want shade. The family is nice and you can hear low level talking sometimes which wasn’t a problem for us. The only issue we had was when the family dog played above at different hours (and when they were away), the quick scrambling back and forth didn’t last long, but was startling. Regardless, we would definitely stay here again.

Great stay!

The only issue was that the pool was closed for our entire stay which we were hoping to enjoy. Otherwise it was great!

Great Stay

Very charming place to stay. It is super close to town and the room was very clean. The no-contact check process was easy and communication throughout was great. I think it would be fun to come with a group and each get their own room (there are 3). The "Tavern" is located next to the pool and is a nice communal area to hang to for a bit. They had an "honor bar" and were loaded with drinks and snacks (including ice cream)!

June get away

The owners were very nice, helpful and hospitable. The location was close to town. The outside area was lovely and the pool very refreshing. The room was small (#3) but adequate. The bed was a bit soft for our liking and it would have been nice to have additional pillows and a few hooks in the bathroom. Otherwise it was great and we enjoyed our stay! Thank you to Mike and Laura!

Great location!

We had a nice stay at the Oak Hill Inn, but the only thing I would caution is if you are staying in room 3, there is a lot of noise above because the room is located on the bottom floor of the owner’s house. I guess I assumed the room would be completely closed off from the house, but it isn’t totally. There are stairs up to the main house from inside the room with a curtain separating the room. But, overall, we had a nice stay as we weren’t in the room much other than getting ready for the day and sleeping. The owners are very nice, communicate very well with you at all times and the property is very quaint. It is just a short walk from beautiful downtown Julian.

Mike & I along with our daughters Ivy & Olive took over the property, Oak Hill Inn, at the beginning of 2021. After over 22 years of marriage our dream of owning an Inn is finally a reality. What an adventure for our family to be "liv'in the Inn life".

This property was designed, built and ran by my Aunt & Uncle for over 30 years. Julian is my home town so moving back and having our girls (and Mike) experience small town living has been a blessing. So proud to be able to say we are still family owned and operated.
