Amazing ski and summer hiking/biking access mountain condo. Edelweiss has some of the easiest access to chair 1 and chair 2 on the entire mountain. The condo has spectacular valley and mountain views from the spacious living room and deck. The living room is open to the kitchen with bedroom on the same level. The bed is queen sized bed and there is a full pullout couch in the living room. There is a also a full sized murphy bed as well. The living room has a large comforting fireplace and a brand new flatscreen TV. There is a deck just off the living room to enjoy on summer afternoons or Apres Ski. Keurig style & mr. coffee maker.

Wifi and cable TV are provided (TV in bedroom is smart tv for streaming apps). For those long, hot summer days, the unit has an A/C in the living room as well as the bedroom. The unit comes with a parking space in front of the building that is private to Edelweiss. Local skiers pay to be in this most upper lot. Edelweiss has a hot tub and sauna to help rest those muscles after a long day on the slopes. The hot tub will be open during the ski season. There will be one day per week when they drain, clean and refill it. It will be unavailable until later that evening. Laundry is coin operated and shared between all other units in the building. *Firewood is not provided. It can be purchased at Village Market.

The slope-side mountain ski access is hard to beat. Just a stone's throw away from Chair one that whisks you to the Summit of the Big Mountain.

Location is in the heart of Whitefish Mountain Resort. Several great shops, restaurants and bars within a block of the condo. Less than an hour from West Glacier, the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Just 7 miles to downtown Whitefish.

We have a 60 day cancellation policy. More than 60 days notice full refund minus $100 administrative fee. Less than 60 days no refunds.

It is a beautiful location, on a ski mountain with a nice view. The building is a little dated but it was well-maintained and clean. The kitchen was nice with everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again.

Weekend in Glacier

Rainy weekend to start turned into a sunny stay by the end of the weekend. Communication was great! Answered any questions we had. When our keypad stopped working, they brought us a master key and let us stay in an unoccupied unit while we waited. Heating was a bit tricky to figure out at first.

Big Mountain Condo

We had a great, long weekend at this lovely location. The view is spectacular and still a short drive into Whitefish.Very easy access to Glacier which is a plus. The condo is very well equipped and comfortable. We would stay again.

Great location for skiing

Our stay was great. We booked last minute and were pleasantly surprise how close the condo was to chairs 1, 2 and 3. Easy access. The sauna was closed for repairs which was a disappointment but other than that our stay was great. The Murphy bed mattress was pretty hard and the pull out couch sunk in the middle a bit. Our teens slept on those. These were all manageable things. The condo had everything we needed for a weekend stay. You can beat the location if you are skiing.

Great Views and Location

Overall this is a great place to stay. The location right on the mountain is wonderful and the views from the porch were amazing! My only complaints are that the sheets were uncomfortable and scratchy. They need replaced. Everything else was amazing!

Perfect View

This was really close to the chair lift which was good since I was attending a wedding at the top of the mountain. The view was perfect even with the fog and the village is was cute.

Comfy stay!

The place was easy to find and super clean. The apartment was well stocked and the bed was probably the most comfortable thing we’ve ever slept on. It was the perfect place to stay while we eloped! We’ll definitely be back.

Awesome Montana Visit

Enjoyed making Whitefish “home-base” for a few days of exploration in Glacier National Park, The Plains Indian Museum on The Blackfeet Reservation, and The Bison Range. The only downside was long delays for roadwork up and down the mountain each day (not enjoyable).

Fantastic getaway

This place was nicer than we anticipated. It was super quiet, had a fully equipped kitchen, and fabulous views. There is a very convenient market right behind Edelweiss that has a great selection of stuff if you don't feel like driving into town. But if you do want to drive into town, it is only 15 minutes away. We loved spending our days at the lake and our evenings enjoying the view and relaxing in the condo for a family movie night. Stumptown Vacation Rentals is the best property manager we have ever rented from and keeps their properties VERY clean. Staying on the hill also allows for easy access to the many activities available there in the summer. Convenient, coin-operated laundry is available at west end of the building on the lower level. We were sorry to leave.

Overall Good Choice

The pictures of the unit are not up to date. The bathroom is remodeled and very nice. There are fans and indoor a/c units that are placed in the way in bedroom and living room. The only closet is very small and packed with lots of extras. Enough room for one person for a few days but certainly not a family. I had to use the hooks at door for extra clothing. There is construction outside patio. Was fine Saturday and Sunday but come Monday at 7am all you could hear were back up alarms and big truck engines. Management was great, brought over extra hangers and fixed tv immediately. Check in and out was easy, bed was comfortable and unit was stocked with essentials. The little store did not have firewood as stated in listing so make sure you stop at the Safeway before and grab some. Otherwise it was a great visit.
