Casey and I were both born and raised in Northwest Montana. In fact, I was raised right on the adjacent family farm. After going to college and living in Oregon, we moved home to raise our children in this idyllic setting. After 14 years as a high school English teacher I now manage the property, work as stylist and shop keeper (visit my shop Red Barn Design at Station 8 Antiques in town), and most of all-I enjoy being mom. Casey works for a technology company . We love to ski, snowshoe, kayak, bike, hike, camp, swim, boat, fish, and of course, take in the views- particularly from our back yard. Our girls are delightful and the best adventure yet. They are definitely farm girls. Next door you'll see a couple of "retired" horses the girls like to ride too. According to the reviews, our dog, Cedar, was a favorite with our guest, but sadly at almost 15-years-old, she passed away. We haven't found a new pup to replace her quite yet. We also raise chickens and a huge garden. Our daughters keep pigs on the farm too but you won't smell them!
