Great Birthday Weekend!
We were apprehensive about our booking as there was only one review and it wasn’t… the best. However, the owners obviously took into consideration the issues that the previous reviewers had. For one, we did not have to pay for gate passes. We simply gave out names to the owners and the man at the gate gave us a pass when we told him our names! There were 8 of us and no one had a problem getting through. When we arrived, we were pleased with what we saw. First off, I won’t lie.. I was expecting an almost Astro turf green carpet in the basement as the pictures make it look like that, and it was a more muted green and not bad to look at at all! The furniture was comfy and the house was spacious for all 8 of us. None of us felt as if we were on top of eachother. We didn’t have a chance to check out the pool so I can’t comment on that but we a bear came onto the property! It was pretty cool (obviously we stayed in the house/on deck as the bear meandering across the driveway!) overall it was a great stay to celebrate our friend’s 30th! Thanks Mary!
