Welcome to "Shore Thing," your luxurious retreat just steps away from the sugary white sand beaches and turquoise waters of Destin/Miramar Beach. This stunning beach house, accommodating up to 14 guests, offers a perfect blend of comfort, style, and convenience for a memorable vacation.

**Important Information - Please Read**

- Max Occupancy: 14 guests
- Parking: 3 standard size vehicles
- Minimum Age to Book: 25 years old (No exceptions)
- Check-in & Check-out: Check-in at 4:30 PM CDT and Check-out at 9:00 AM CDT.
- Incidentals Hold: $1,000. The hold is released on the day of checkout.
- Mail & Package Delivery: Mail forwarding is in place. Do not ship packages to the home. We cannot guarantee delivery.
- Rental Agreement: Must be signed prior to arrival
- Private Pool: Heated seasonally (October - April)
- Amenity Starter Pack: Includes hotel style soaps for each bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 6 rolls of toilet paper, 4 trash bags, 1 kitchen sponge, dish towels, and a laundry pod pack. This is designed to get you through your first night only. Guests are responsible for purchasing additional supplies.
- Kitchen Appliances: Standard appliances & traditional drip coffee maker
- Grill: Natural gas grill available
- Bikes can be rented from a third party company for an additional fee.
- Golf Cart: 6-passenger golf cart included

Bunk Nook: 2 bunks (1 twin and 1 full bed)
Additional Bathroom: Half bathroom in the hallway

"Shore Thing" is located in the resort town of Miramar Beach, along Scenic Hwy 98. This prime location offers:

Restrictions

Beach Chairs and Umbrellas: Rent or bring your own
Pool Heating: Available from October - April for an additional fee.
Pets: Not allowed
Monthly Rental Discounts: Not available
Minimum Renter Age: 25 years - No exceptions
Smoking: Prohibited in the home, on balconies, around the pool area, in walkways, and common areas
Food/Drinks: Not allowed in bedrooms
Rental Agreement: Must be signed; failure to do so could result in cancellation with no refund
Beach Regulations: No tents or canopies allowed
Parking Restrictions: No RVs, trailers, watercraft, or large vans; no overflow parking available

Good Neighbor Policy

This is a family-oriented neighborhood, not a party home. Vulgar language, excessively loud music, large parties, and unauthorized events are strictly prohibited. Complaints of excessive noise, disturbances, parties, HOA rule violations, or law enforcement involvement will result in eviction and forfeiture of all deposits.

Beautiful home!!! Plenty of space. Cool arcade machine on the first floor. Two minute walk to the beach. My one suggestion would be to have some kitchen essentials like sugar, salt & pepper, etc.

High School Mothers and Sons Trip

This was a great house for a group of 11: mothers and teen boys. The boys bunked on the first floor and enjoyed the game room and access to the yard. Most adults slept on the 3rd floor, allowing separation from noise. For a VRBO, it was surprising that there were no provisions in the kitchen: no salt, pepper, oil, condiments, etc. However, a grovery store is less than a 10 minute drive away. The public beach was a short walk away and very easily accessible. Management responded very quickly with questions about the property. Overall, we were very happy with our choice and would come back again.

2 family vaca

The accommodations were perfect for our 2 families of 9. We had 3 teenage boys who had the 1st floor to themselves, girls 18+ who had their own bathrooms to get ready in, and 2 masters perfect for the parents. We had a little trouble with alarms going off when we arrived as the boys were immediately checking out things and triggered the child pool alarm so that was a new experience for us. Golf cart was perfect for our crew, and easy access to beach. Only complaint was no sink stopper or towels/wash cloths for kitchen. We would definitely stay again!

Gorgeous Beach Home

This home was the best fit for our family of 4 plus 6 of our son's friends. The home is spacious and well kept, is in a great location right across the street from the beach, and has a nice outdoor pool area. The layout of the home was our favorite as the first floor is definitely geared towards young adults or kids. Our son loved the bunk beds, the game room, and ability to come and go from the pool area without walking through the rest of the home. My wife and I loved having the kitchen on the second floor with a balcony off the kitchen for outdoor dining and evening cocktails. Overall a great stay! We had one issue with the living room TV not working properly, but the management company responded quickly and sent someone out the following morning to help us. Will definitely consider this home next trip to Destin!

Good Property Manager/Inaccurate Property Description

The house is really nice and comfortable. Great place for family. Unfortunately the property description is either deceptive or inaccurate. The things you should know before renting are as follows: 1) There are 3 bedrooms and a large bunk room for kids. 2) The pull out bed downstairs is not suitable to sleep on. 3) There is no garage to park in-one garage is the bunk room and the other houses the golf cart. 4) There are two outside parking spaces. If you have more than two, you park across the street. 5) The grill off the kitchen is propane, not natural gas (it was empty). Again, the house is nice, just not exactly as advertised. The property manager was courteous and answered calls quickly. We had no hot water in two of the upstairs bathrooms, due to a part not working on the tankless hot water heater. Whereas, the part was unavailable during our stay, he got the plumber there the next morning.

Perfect Beach House

Close to the beach where there is a lifeguard, Pompano Joe’s and other amenities. Lots of space and beds! Loved that it also had a gas stove!

Thankful for “Thankful By the Sea”

Thankful By the Sea was a wonderful home for our group. The layout was great and the location is amazing….steps to public beach access. The property manager was very responsive to a couple of minor issues and service was polite and professional! We loved this house! The decor was tasteful and the beds slept great! Perfect house for a large group!

Beautiful property, excellent location, exceptional owners

We stayed here with 6 adults and three children, two three year olds a one year old. I can't say enough good about the house and our experience with the owners. The house is large, comfortable and clean. The bath towels were very luxurious and the closets are enormous. The 1 year old actually slept in the packnplay set up in one of the closets. There are several seating areas so family isn't on top of each other the whole time. My 3 year old played realtor showing the house off to us all week long and couldn't stop talking about how wonderful it all was. The only minor downside is that the bunks on the third floor are in a hallway, not a separate room so they didn't work out as intended for the 3 year olds to sleep in. It was hard to tell that from the way vrbo showed the listing. The two bunk areas would be perfect for kids several years older than ours and comfortably sleeps adults as well. The pool in the backyard is perfect for an afternoon swim for littles or adults when you don't want to haul everything back to the beach which is very crowded by that time of day. The location of the home is amazing. Literally a block from the beach access. There were beach supplies and pool toys left from previous renters and we had everything we needed. Early risers enjoyed coffee and walks on beach and others walked down to see the sunset in the evenings. Pompano Joe's beach bar/restaurant is just a little bit to the east and it was tasty and convenient place to stop for lunch on the way back to the house or get box lunches for the beach. There are many wonderful restaurants within a 10 minute drive. The previous renters had done quite a bit of damage to the house and removed/broke the pack and play and baby gates we needed for our stay. Upon contacting the rental company they quickly had a person on their way to the store to purchase and bring us new ones immediately. Both property managers were out of town, one with a family funeral and they still managed to fix our immediate issue. I can't say enough good things about Joey and Blake. Joey was at the house first thing the morning after his plane landed to repair the rest of the damage/replace missing items from the other renters. We used the equipment rental services and grocery delivery Joey recommended and everything was perfect. Next time we return to destin/30A we will definitely try to rent with Sowal luxury rentals again!

THANKFUL for THANKFUL

We traveled with a group of 12 adults and 1 infant and the property was PERFECT! Great location and house was perfect for our group. Joey was a huge help before and during our stay. VERY quick in responding to questions foe our upcoming trip. HIGHLY recommended! Will definitely stay again if we travel to Miramar Beach again.

Amazing house

This house was perfect. Great location to the beach and any fun destin adventures. With 3 levels everyone has their own space. Will definitely be back and try to get same house. Joey was an amazing property manager. A vacation to always remember.

Great Miramar Beach property

This is a wonderful property in Miramar Beach. It is within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. The heated pool and game room were well-loved by my kids as well. We would definitely stay here again!
