When we checked into our room on a Friday, there was a message on the App that instructed us that it may take 16-24 hours for our food to cool in the refrigerator. That seemed odd to me, but we followed the rules. The next morning, when we opened the refrigerator and freezer doors-not an ounce of cool. We lost EVERY BIT OF FOOD that we brought on vacation. We have two small children, so we did not plan to eat out at all on this trip. We cooked all of our meals beforehand, so we could jut enjoy the beach and pool. We immediately called Compass, the management company, Saturday morning, AND NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. At this point, we had not one cube of ice... and we only brought an ice chest big enough for drinks at the beach. Once we called Saturday, we assumed someone would have immediately come to fix it. No communication. We did not hear back from anyone on Sunday-and we had to check out Monday morning. So, not only did we lose all of our groceries, and our pre made meals-- we had to eat out for seven meals--when we intended to eat out for zero. With a two year old and a five year old, that was a little miserable. I feel badly for even having to leave this review, as I'm sure the owners of this property trust that the management company would properly attend to their guests. The room itself was beautiful, clean, well furnished and spacious. The resort was beautiful, well spaced out--and the views were to die for. I sincerely hope that Compass plans to make this right with us.
