Perfect vacation!

This condo is perfect! It is decorated cute with plenty of seating both inside and out. They thought of everything! The kitchen is fully stocked with all the items you may need. The property is also amazing with the kids pool and shallow portions of the oversized resort style pool perfect for our toddler. We used the grill by the pool and took advantage of the beach bar at sunset for live music. We will absolutely be back!

Loved this place!

Wow! From the cleanliness to the decor, this place rocks! Jazz playing when we walked in and every comfort we could imagine. Beach toys for the kids and beach bracelets for all of us! We will be back!!

We love Silver Shells! We have stayed here numerous times. Unfortunately, on this stay, our parking garage gate did not work and lock or the door to the pool. One reason we pick Silver Shells is for the safety and security. Also, we pick this condo because of the weight/cardio/fitness centers. Neither were available this week and we were not notified prior. My husband and daughters both work out daily and this was very frustrating. One of our daughters is recovering from surgery and needed the weight room for her therapy. Everything else was beautiful and comfortable during our stay. We love Destin!

Best Vacation location ever

The condo was gorgeous and extremely comfortable. We had a lovely ocean view from the balcony, enjoyed the pool, private beach and tiki bar. Really, if sun and the beach is what you are there for, there is no reason to leave. We will definitely be rebooking this property.

Our stay was very enjoyable it helped that we had good weather. Plenty of dishes and cookwear but not much room to put any groceries.

Horrible

Rental company, RealJoy Vacations, insisted they had to replace the ice maker in the fridge while we were there. They completed that work and left. The ice maker then leaked while we were out and water was outside of the unit in the hallway and the entryway and kitchen of the unit. The next day they called to say we HAD TO MOVE! They sent 3 alternate accommodations and nothing comparable to what we rented which included bunk beds! Of course we as 60 & 70 year olds were not agreeable to sleep in when we had 2 king sized beds in the unit we rented! They threatened to call the Sheriffs office on us when we said no, we weren’t moving. They kept insisting we HAD to move out. Then they offered a full REFUND to include ALL fees. From this experience I learned to always bring the contract with me to refer to. Had I done that, I would have told them to go Bark at the Moon and stayed the 2 additional days we had left as part of our rental agreement. The people at the rental company got very nasty, blamed the circumstances on the property owner, and never approached the situation from a perspective of moving to a “similar or upgraded property”. Lastly, in order to get the full refund they offered, I was required to sign an agreement to not leave any negative review. What I have done is leave a factual review and those checking reviews can decide for themselves.

Really a wonderful location pools and grounds was so nice

The unit we stayed in was nicely decorated, and updated with newer appliances and nice washer and dryer, the 2 bedrooms was really a nice size and bathrooms was also nicely updated. Just a couple of issues and one was the door code given wouldn’t work, so we had to call and get a new code, it was so nice to talk to someone that was nice and helpful, when in finally got in there was a nice welcome basket we really enjoyed all the goodie’s. Cleanliness was not exactly that good! The floors was really dirty, there was a satin on the comforter in the guest room, hair on the vanity and in the shower, and the fitted sheets did not fit the mattress, it was a fight to keep them on the bed! And I don’t think the comforter has been changed or changed in a long time had an musky odor. The ice maker didn’t work so there was ice trays and bag ice in the freezer, my husband kept looking at it figured out the problem and now it works 🙌 all in all the unit was very nice the people was really nice and helpful, I don’t like to complain so I never called to saying anything about the situation of cleanliness, took care of it myself. I would love to stay again it was so nice, but I would suggest a new cleaning crew . Thank you for a wonderful vacation Marty

Beautiful Property

Absolutely beautiful property inside and out. We always enjoy our stay at this location. We had our 2 grandchildren with us this year and the condo was comfortable for everyone. Everything is pristine and we like that the pools and beaches are only accessed via the key fob. We'll be back again next year.

Condo was beautiful!

My family and I have been staying at Silver Shells each time we come to Destin for the last 17 years off and on. This unit was by far the best we’ve stayed in as far as cleanliness and having everything you could need! Easy walk to the pool and beach and a beautiful split view of the beach and city side. At other favorite is The Sand Bar for some quick lunches and yummy drinks! We will definitely be booking future stays at Silver Shells and more specifically this unit!
