100-Year Lake Wallenpaupack Getaway - Dock, Fire Pits, Family Friendly Home
Camp Parker is on Lake Wallenpaupack, which is a reservoir in Northeastern PA. It has 52 miles of shoreline and Camp Parker is situated right on that shoreline! You will have access to a private backyard that reaches a calm cove that opens up to the lake. The seasonal dock and the boat slip are yours for your stay.
Camp Parker has 3 bedrooms, which sleeps 9 with all the comforts of home. Relax in your open living room with three reclining couches in front of the 65" Smart TV. Make a meal in your large eat in kitchen with a 10' hand crafted live edge table from the trees harvested on the property. Look closely at the table. An outline of our lake is burned into it. Appliances are all new stainless steel. Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, silverware and pots/pans. There is even a clam pot! The outside large covered deck runs the whole length of the home with another 12' table outside with benches to fit the whole family. There is a BBQ grill nd a Blackstone for your grilling pleasure. This is a great hang out for rainy days. There is also a quiet sitting/relaxing area on the other side. Go down either of the two gated stairways to our private path to the lake. Hang out at the fire pit overlooking the lake in the Adirondack chairs or sit out on the dock in the sun. Bring your boat and tie up at our private dock for the week. The cove is wonderful for floating, kayaking or hanging out.
Master bedroom has a queen bed. Second bedroom is also a queen bed. The Bunk room has 3 twin hand-crafted bunks (by my awesome husband) for a total of 6 beds. All sheets are washed and put on your beds prior to your arrival. Towels are also provided under the sinks in each bathroom. We purchased the same brand Smart TV's for every room for your convenience. There is one in each bedroom plus an Xbox in the bunk room.
Once you arrive, make sure you check out the Camp Parker Guidebook with our favorite area activities and restaurants, etc. in the area.

My husband and I looked for years for property on Lake Wallenpaupack. We finally stumbled upon this hemlock forest leading to the lake in 2013. We purchase the property the very next day. Then we started dreaming and eventually building in Dec 2017. We have done most of the work ourselves, so there is a lot of sweat equity in this house!

Our property sits on a peaceful cove with just one other dock, offering calm waters and a safe haven for your boat—unlike the rougher conditions often found on the main lake. There's comfortable space between us and our neighbors—you'll see their homes, but you're not right on top of them, which is a rare bonus for lakefront living. A gentle slope leads down to the lake—no steps to navigate—and we offer a spacious parking area at the front of the house to easily accommodate your vehicles and trailers.
