Cozy chalet in quite Huez

The chalet is cozy and generally well maintained and has a very well equipped kitchen catering to various needs. It also has a nice terraced area overlooking the town of Huez. Huez express gondole, which takes you to Alpe d'Huez, is a short walk away and you can also use public buses in the evenings. The only drawback is that town of Huez itself is a very empty place without even basic groceries, bars or proper dining places (except for the village bar, which was mostly closed during our start). Therefore to get anything or eat outside the chalet/have some drink you need to head to Alpe d'Huez, which takes time and effort, especially after 1800, when Huez Express gondole stops working

Nice chalet

Didn't miss anything. All u need is there in the chalet. Shop infrastructure in Huez is inexistant. So prepare in advance and bring what u need. Otherwise: shopping in Alpe d'Huez. Friendly and helpful owner. Representative of real estate agency in charge of check-in: did the very basics of the job. Don't expect/ask anything more.

Bonjour Carlo, J'ai été ravi de vous accueillir et vous avez été un hôte sympathique et respectueux. Je serai ravi de vous accueillir à nouveau. En revanche, comme je vous en avais informé, il existe dans Huez un point de vente où vous pouvez commander le pain pour le lendemain matin et où vous trouvez des produits de dépannage. Pour les courses, avec Huez Express, vous êtes à 6 mn du supermarché qui est en bas de la station (près d'une boulangerie également), C'est ce que nous faisons nous-même quand nous venons, ce n'est donc pas si isolé. Enfin, dans le livret d'accueil, nous vous donnons également toute une liste d'adresses qui assurent la livraison à domicile. Enfin, effectivement, notre contact pour la conciergerie s'occupe de l'accueil et de l'inventaire, je préfère être celui qui répond à toutes vos questions et peut vous orienter pour vos questions sur les restaurants ou autres activités. Cela a d'ailleurs été un plaisir mes échanges avec vous. A une prochaine fois, j'espère.

Séjour ski en famille

Gite propre bien équipé et bien décoré. Sera encore mieux après travaux sdb de l'étage prévus. Pratique pour le ski la piste arrive à 5mn à pied du gîte, les remontées mécaniques amènent aux bergers en 12mn environ. Dommage que les remontées mécaniques reliant Huez et Alpe Huez s'arrêtent à 18h. Il faut prendre la voiture le soir. Pas de parking privé mais on arrive à se garer sur Huez suffisamment à proximité. Beau séjour très ensoleillé sur les pistes souvent dans la brume à Huez qui était en limite soleil nuage.
