Looking for adventure, relaxation, privacy, & natures most beautiful sights and sounds? This is the perfect spot! This pet friendly, cozy cabin is nestled in the hills of the Chattahoochee Nat Forest, 1.5 mile from Vogel State Park & Appalachian Trail. A babbling creek cascades down the mountain into your very own private pond. Nothing is more relaxing than the sounds of the creek. It offers its very own hiking trails winding through 13 private mountain acres, fire pits & many outdoor areas to relax & enjoy. Lic # 011662
The Space: This cabin offers ample space for a group of friends or a large family. The upstairs has two bedrooms - king and queen beds with smart TVs in both rooms. A shared bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. Both bedrooms open up to the back screened in porch that features breath taking views of the mountains and creek. The upstairs living area is an open floor plan great for hosting with two double doors that open up to very large front deck with stunning mountain views during the day and beautiful star gazing at night. Cozy up by the fire place or enjoy watching you favorite shows on Netflix, Hulu, and amazon. We offer a fully stocked kitchen with everything you’ll need no matter what your cooking and a dining room that seats 6 comfortably. The downstairs has a very comfortable game room feel with a fireplace, lazy boy couch, foosball table, board games and two bunk beds with three twin beds and one queen. This property is on 13 acres so very private and a perfect way to unwind and unplug. There are two outdoor fire pit areas, a beautiful deck with swing on the pond, picnic tables and so much more!You will have full access to entire cabin and all 13 acres of property. You are also surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest so very private.

Very disappointing experience. The listing pics are not current or have been altered. The property has not been maintained. Decks, stairs, screens algae covered. Old lighting wires on pond deck have bare wires and some are in the water! Inside sofa is ready for the dump - very uncomfortable. Everything pretty much needs a good cleaning and update. The only plus is the beds were comfortable and clean. Be aware the trails are not maintained and difficult to follow through thick woods. It's ashamed that this property is not properly cared for.

This is one of the most private, calm, quite, secluded rentals that we have ever stayed at. The home was cozy, quaint, and roomy all at the same time. There was enough open yard to feel not closed in, and the hiking trail on the property was very nice. Wonderful experience!

Photos on website need to be updated

The photos of the property must have been 5 to 10 years old. The steps with the railings down the hill are rotted and the handrails are gone. The vegetation is grown up around the pond and the bridge going to the trails. I enjoyed the screened in back porch. The outdoor firepit was full so we had to clean it before we could use it. Not our best stay but with the location it suiius well

One of the best cabin

It was way better than expected, the kitchen was equipped with everything necessary, everything was clean and ready for us, plenty of games and activities, gorgeous views, very private and isolated and it was everything that we asked for and more!

Cool Floorplan in a Great Setting !

Spacious cabin with two bedrooms, a game room with bunkbeds, multiple porches, a pond and a serene setting.Spotlessly clean and comfortable.My group was doing the Chattahoochee Backcountry Discovery Route on our motorcycles and we really enjoyed our stop here.

Wonderful!

This cabin was just perfect! It was beautiful inside and out!! We loved hiking the property, sitting by the pond, having a fire, and just hanging out inside. When it was raining for a day, it was wonderful to be able to sit on the back porch. We would definitely come back!!

Perfect getaway for privacy...

My husband and I stay at a Georgia cabin one week a month so I am comparing this property to the rest. The cabin and the property are amazing. The owners have spared no expense to give renters the quality vacation they search for. There are three issues: When I made my deposit, I was sent a bill for liability insurance for 59.00. This is not alot of money, but was unexpected. The site says it is "pet friendly" up to three pets. After I made my deposit, I was told there was a 50.00 fee which I do not mind paying, but it is not on the site. The last issue is the steps. The kitchen and the living room are only accessible by climbing a full set of stairs. This could prove difficult/dangerous for the elderly, young children, people with knee problems and pets. So every time you take your luggage or groceries in the cabin, you must climb stairs. Every time you take a drive or walk your pets, you again have to climb the stairs. The site says the downstairs is wheelchair accessible and this is true. BUT you cannot get to the kitchen or the living room in a wheelchair. Other than the above mentioned issues, the cabin is everything the owner claims...

Great secluded place

House was perfect for our needs. Rather remote but worked well for us. The drive up to the house could use some clearing as bushes were rubbing against the vehicle. But overall was a great stay and would definitely stay again.

Peaceful location

We stayed at this rental for a week and found the location so peaceful and relaxing. The house is cute and had the basics; and the mattress in the master bedroom was super comfy. The views of nature from the house (i.e. trees, pond, and streams/mini waterfalls) were just wonderful. It was secluded/private which is right up our alley. The stars at night and the almost full moon made the nights magical (thank you Mother Nature). And we and our fur kids enjoyed hiking the trails on the property.

Mountain retreat survey

We had a nice stay; the cabin was a cozy place to relax. We enjoyed the trail on the grounds, the views from the deck, and the creek.It's a beautiful area. The hiking was great, and Blairsville offered a great restaurant: The Sawmill Place and shopping.

Great Christmas Getaway

At first we were very skeptical because of the daunting drive off the main road up to the cabin. We were wondering what we had gotten ourselves into. Definitely not a drive you want to do in the dark! However, the cabin and its surroundings did not disappoint. By our second trip in the drive became very doable. There were a few minor things that could have made the cabin more accommodating for us senior citizens. I would have loved for the beds to be on higher platforms to make it easier to get in and out of but the mattresses were very comfortable. Maybe brighter lighting over the dining table so we could see our cards better. The cabin was easy to heat with the stand alone stove in the living room and fireplace downstairs. A real plus was having an ecterior door through the two bedrooms it made accessing the trails a lot easier than going up and down the stairs. Overall we loved our stay and venturing out was a breeze. Sunrise grocery store is less than 10 minutes away downtown Blairsville is maybe 20 minutes and Dahlonega was about 40 minutes. Helen was a 30 minute drive with breathtaking views along the way. . We were extremely happy to share this place with our ftiends and family. Thank you Natalie!

Spectacular Getaway

We have 3 dogs and we love traveling to cabins with them! This property was definitely the best one we have ever stayed. The 13 acres with hiking trails were a bless to our babies, they had so much fun! The pond is absolutely adorable! A short drive from the cabin is the Sunrise Grocery, we went there 3x and bought so many delicious things! Highly recommend the Fruit Cake! We also went to The Bitter Creek Deli, they offer amazing cuts of meat, the fillet was delicious! We drove to Helen every day, it’s a beautiful scenic drive through the mountains! Thank you Natalie, we will definitely return on summer and of course, on winter again!
