Gite Bleu-Vert 4*: Independent duplex in a magnificent granite manor house

The Domaine de Granit estate comprises several gîtes, including a detached house called "La Source," the Gîte Vert (a large apartment in the manor house where the owners reside), and the Gîte Bleu-Vert, the entire west wing of the manor.

"Le Granit" is a magnificent residence dating from the early 20th century, located a short distance from Kaysersberg and Gérardmer.
The Domaine de Granit estate includes a 1.6-hectare park, open to guests. The residence (Résidence Buffet) has been designated a "building of remarkable architecture" by the French Heritage Buildings authority.

The gîte can accommodate up to 13 people.

We offer an exceptional gîte, the west wing of the manor, consisting of two large apartments of 100m² and 120m², connected by a grand staircase on the first and second floors of this wing. The entrance is through the "Chapel" door. The west wing is completely independent.

You will have three large adult bedrooms with double beds, a master suite leading to a bedroom with two single bunk beds, and a dormitory-style bedroom with three single beds.

There are two bathrooms (one with a shower, the other with a bathtub), two washer-dryers, and four separate toilets. Two fully equipped kitchens include an oven, dishwasher, and small appliances. There are two living rooms with televisions, stereos, and free Wi-Fi, as well as a dining room.

Heating is provided by an eco-friendly wood pellet boiler. Electricity and water are included in the price, subject to reasonable use.

Outside, on sunny days, garden tables and chairs are provided for barbecues. The barbecue is located under a gazebo.

A small fountain surrounded by logs awaits you for enjoying aperitifs.

Parking is located opposite the entrance to the gîte.

End-of-stay cleaning is provided for a mandatory fee of €150 to ensure the comfort of the next guests.

Check-in is between 4 PM and 8 PM.
Check-out is between 8 AM and 11 AM. Any arrival or departure times not included in the rental price will be billed directly by Floriane as additional hours.

Please note: bed linen and towels are not included in the rental price. These services can be provided upon request by our concierge service; please do not hesitate to contact them.

The cottage is non-smoking.

During peak season, we prefer stays of at least 5 nights.

Sehr ruhige Lage. Gebäude ähnelt einer alten Burg. Sehr schön. Die Wohnung im ersten Stock ist gut geschnitten mit geräumigen Zimmern, diese liebevolle dekoriert. Wir können die Wohnung weiter empfehlen!!!

Très belle location

Très bel appartement rénové récemment. Il manquerait quelques petits équipements pour que ce soit parfait (porte serviette dans la salle de bain, meuble pour ranger les denrées alimentaires), ainsi que des mousses sous les pieds des chaises dans la salle à manger pour limiter les bruits (notre bébé adorait déplacer les chaises, on a limité au mieux les bruits 😅). L’appartement est spacieux, lumineux et très bien situé. Une vraie salle de bain, de la place pour se garer, une entrée sécurisée, éléments appréciables !! Juste à préciser la chambre avec lit superposés est en enfilade avec une autre chambre. Avons passé un très bon séjour.

Nous sommes toujours soucieux du bien être de nos locataires et prenons en considération leurs commentaires qu'ils peuvent aussi faire en direct lorsque nous sommes présents, comme à Noël. Le porte serviette dans la salle de bain se trouve sous le lavabo et des patères ont été également prévues mais nous allons en ajouter un autre. Le meuble pour ranger les denrées alimentaires se trouve dans la cuisine (placards en hauteur). Nous notons de trouver des mousses pour les pieds des chaises dans la salle à manger. La chambre avec lit superposés est en enfilade avec la chambre des parents. Au plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau.

Une adresse à retenir...

L'appartement a été récemment entièrement rénové : il est donc propre, moderne et très agréable. Il est situé dans une grande et jolie bâtisse entre Vosges et Alsace, à proximité de tous les commerces nécessaires au quotidien. Il est géré par un couple très sympathique et disponible quand on a des petits soucis. Un seul regret : ne pas avoir pu profiter de la piscine, très tentante! pendant les fortes chaleurs (non accessible aux locataires pour des raisons de sécurité.) Merci pour cet agréable séjour. Nous recommandons sans hésitation cette adresse.

Mooi appartement maar wel erg gehorig.

Het verblijf was prima. De incheck dame aardig maar sprak alleen Frans. De eigenaren die er soms onder wonen waren niet vriendelijk en luidruchtig. De tuin cq plaats om buiten te zitten was echt slecht.

Dear Sir We are very happy that you enjoyed your staying in our house as it happens sometimes people don’t speak another language. So we do speak English, and we have explained several times that you were not allowed to go in the private parts of the garden Notwithstanding the several warnings done always politely, you and your children have never respected the rules Moreover you have laughed at my daughter being rude with her when she asked you not to cross the red barrier clearly explaining that what was written on the red sign was ‘ private property’. The garden is 1,5 hectares : we keep 500 m2 for us and 1 hectare for our guests but weirdly it was not enough for you Regarding the fact that you said that we are very noisy, we kept hearing your children running up and down the stairs, screaming and slamming the doors while it’s clearly written that it is not allowed to do so, because there were other guests over your floor. At some point rules need to be respected. Finally, regarding our alleged not politeness contrary to what you were doing we were greeting you each time without receiving any answers from yourselves. Apparently we don’t exactly have the same definition of politeness. please do enjoy the rest of your holidays.

Très fonctionnel, bien situé

Nous y étions en février. Gîte agréable, bien équipé et bien chauffé. Proche des pistes de ski : Gerardmer, La Bresse, La Schlucht. Commerces très proches.
