We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Les Cottages. The setting was so tranquil and peaceful with lots of woodland walks, yet not too far from the beautiful townland and supermarkets. The hosts Helene and Michael were very attentive and even purchaser addition darts for the dart board when they heard we like to play. The cottage had everything we needed to cater for our family including a small baby.

It was a great pleasure, felt like home! Out kids loved their rooms, the kitchen and ofcourse the pool. The Cottages have a great location to visit all the great locations and sightseeing spots!

Beautiful spacious gite in a lovely area

We had a wonderful stay in Lamballe, a charming historic town in close driving distance of the beautiful and spectacular coastline of Brittany. The gite was very comfortable, with three spacious bedrooms, a cosy livingroom and a beautiful garden. Our kids loved the swimming pool and table tennis, we loved the beautiful garden and the quiet surroundings.

Very much French chique charm. Not a modern hotel setting but a rural retreat in the french countryside. The pool is really great on warm days and the owners very helpful with a couple of small issues. They tried really hard to accommodate our complicated logistics as a large family group.

We (a family of four with a 13 year old and a 9 year old) stayed here in July/Aug 2026. The property was clean and spacious and served our needs. The gite is one of 2/3 other gites in large enclosed grounds. The decor is rustic as it is an older property but is fine. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were comfortable. There are two bedrooms on the upper level (one also on the ground floor) which get quite hot when the weather is nice. The outdoor seating area is great for meals and has a large parasol to provide shade. The pool is shared with the other properties, which I didn't realise when booking, but it was very clean, doesn't seem to use chlorine and has an automatic cover which keeps it clean and the water warmer. Plenty of seating round the pool. There was just one other family in another gite when we there and the kids played together which they enjoyed. The garden is open (with a fence/wall all around making it feel very secure) and provides lots of space for the kids to play in. They especially loved the hammock. There are bikes, dart board, table tennis and BBQs to use. The area around the property is very quiet, good for cycling and running and there is a large lake nearby for strolling around. You can walk to Lamballe in 40 mins approx. Good restaurants there, particularly liked Cafe Ardoise. Several supermarkets nearby. The Leclerc was particularly impressive. High speed charging point for car only 5 mins away. Highly recommend this property. Great hol!

Très décevant

Voici pourquoi nous avons été très déçus et avons regretté d'avoir dépensé autant d'argent pour tant d'inconfort : - Pas de volets aux fenêtres, ni stores, ni rideaux occultants, mais de simples rideaux laissant passer le jour, - Chien des propriétaires en liberté, aboie toutes les nuits (de 23h à 7h), divague dans la propriété toute la journée (faisant ses besoins sur le terrain où nous pouvions jouer ou nous étendre), passe sur la terrasse du gîte faisant peur à notre enfant de 3 ans. Les animaux n’étant pas admis dans le cottage, nous pensions que les enfants pourraient jouer dehors librement et sans crainte, - Odeurs nauséabondes dans un des deux WC (dont le verrou dysfonctionnait), - Porte de la salle de bains ne ferme pas, - Murs de plusieurs pièces sales, - Moisissures sur joints du carrelage de la douche, - Lave-linge hors service, - Pas d'épingles à linge. Après réclamation, on nous en a généreusement apporté 8 (Nous étions 8 : 1 par personne...). A l'image du nombre de rouleaux de papier toilette (mentionné sur le site dans les "indispensables" avec le linge de lit, serviettes...) : 4 pour 2 semaines pour 8 personnes, - Propriétaire joignable uniquement sur téléphone professionnel de madame et aux horaires d’ouverture de son magasin (Pas de numéro de portable proposé). - Piscine non nettoyée en 2 semaines. Tout ceci ne justifie pas le prix de la location. Points positifs : Vélos à disposition et table de ping-pong sous abri.

Bonsoir Isabelle , vous m'aviez pourtant énuméré tous les membres de votre famille , la cousine Véro etc... et puis comment dire , à force de questionnement sur la mise à disposition des vélos etc...j'ai failli communiquer avec vous sans passer par Abritel avec mon propre e-mail comme çà m'arrive assez souvent mais à croire que j'ai eu le nez fin.En seize années d'activité , c'est bien la première fois que nous avons une telle appréciation , ce qui laisse à supposer que vous avez dû vous tromper de lieu de vacances. Nous avons testé la machine à laver après votre départ et elle marchait parfaitement!? Vous omettez de dire que nous avons mis à disposition machine à laver et sèche linge professionnels à votre disposition et il me semble que vous n'avez pas hésité à vous en servir. Mon mari nettoie le jardin tous les matins avant que les vacanciers se lèvent et la piscine est nettoyée régulièrement (l'eu est filtrée , chlorée ) à des moments qui ne dérangent pas les vacanciers , normal que vous n'ayez rien vu!A propos de dérangement (excusez moi de travailler la semaine!!!) , recevoir un coup de fil à mon travail pour m'annoncer que vous n'aviez plus de papier toilette alors que ces temps ci je suis plutôt préoccupée par la sortie d'un patient en HAD pour des soins palliatifs ou encore un autre , récemment transplanté cardiaque , tenait plutôt du plus grand ridicule et j'en ai été complètement décontenancée! Vous n'avez sans doute jamais entendu de "Pack de Bienvenue" , vous devez avoir l'habitude du "All inclusive" et pack de bienvenue veut d ire dépannage par exemple ...Ah au fait , c'est pas 8 mais 10 pinces à linge en plus de celles que vous aviez prélevé sur notre corde à linge....C'était demandé si gentiment. Joignable 24h sur 24 ? Pourquoi pas ? nos portables? sur le médaillon du collier du chien...??? Dans tous les gîtes , les animaux sont acceptés ? Et nos trois chats ne vous ont pas dérangé , j'espère . Notre sens de l'hospitalité va jusqu'à accepter des invités surprise , un de vos amis, qui est arrivé en van , qu'il a laissé garer devant le portail de notre propriété ...il a dû profiter de la piscine , de la douche , des machines à laver ou à sécher ...peu importe mais "un bonjour" , "un aurevoir" et surtout "un Merci" auraient des plus appréciés!!! Une dernière chose , les gîtes étant situés dans le patrimoine historique du Chateau de La Moglais , impossible de toucher à la façade et d'installer des volets ! Une bonne nouvelle , c'est que j'ai bien compris que vous ne reviendrez pas . Vraiment désolée que vous m'obligiez à être désagréable , çà n'est vraiment pas dans mon tempérament.

Gute Lage

Man ist schnell an unterschiedlichen Stränden und schönen Orten. Die Kinder liebten den Pool. Supermärkte in der Nähe. Ringsum das Haus lässt es sich gut joggen/walken.

Heerlijk huis met zwembad

Een hele fijne plek. De kinderen en wij hebben erg genoten van het zwembad. De tuin is mooi verzorgd met zon en schaduw. Huisje is keurig en alles volledig en netjes. Je kunt vrij gebruik maken van fietsen en de omgeving van het huisje is ook prachtig om te wandelen. Stadse voorzieningen zijn ook goed bereikbaar. Klein nadeel is dat de WiFi in ons deel van het huis niet werkte, het is te ver van de router. In de omgeving is veel te doen, de kust is goed aan te rijden. Wij hebben gewandeld bij Erquy, gekanood bij Le Guildo en Dinan en Moncontour bezocht.

Vacances au vert

Propriété bien équipée, les chambres sont spacieuses. L’environnement champêtre. Les animaux ont de l’espace; J’ai particulièrement apprécié la piscine chauffée et relativement grande ; seul bémol l’absence de wifi mais il ne nous a pas manqué plus que ça finalement ; en résumer nous avons passé un très bon séjour, découvert Lamballe et les magnifiques côtes d’Armor de Paimpol à Erqui en passant par le Val André , région magnifique

Lovely converted farm in Brittany countryside

A lovely converted farmyard in the Brittany countryside. Within easy reach of lots of nice beaches and with amenities like restaurants and a patisserie a short drive away. The pool is lovely.

Very happy to see that you appreciate your stay at "The Cottages " but paying for the cleaning does'nt mean to leave a house as a pigsty ! No respect for us , we have spent hours to welcome you in the very best conditions so there is a minimum to do when you leave ! Don't you have any self -esteem!!!??? It's hurting my self to react like this , having English blood in my veins! Nearly five hours to clan the gite after only one week stay , do you realize!!!?? Nether see you again!

Bien situé sur la Côte d’Armor

Leuk huisje met alles erop en eraan. Zwembad te delen met andere huurders maar nauwelijks iets van gemerkt.. leuke streek konden eigenlijk nog week langer blijven en nog niet alles gezien hebben

Prachtige, sfeervolle plek

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad: prachtig, sfeervol huis, heerlijke grote tuin met zon en schaduw. Tafeltennis tafel, fietsen zijn beschikbaar. Prachtige stranden op korte afstand. Ik ga graag nogmaals een keer naar dit huis!

Bel emplacement pour profiter autant de la tranquillité de la campagne et proche des plages . Nous avions apprécié le cadre des installations, surtout la piscine . Merci de votre accueil .

Fabulous place

We loved our stay at Les Cottages - perfect for a multi generational holiday as we were a group o 3 different generations. Our five year old loved the safe cycling around the lake - his Aunt who was training for a Triathlon loved all the great running tracks and Granny loved exploring Lamballe, the market and the coast and forts. All in all a great holiday and the facilities were perfect for us - a great layout and the pool and gardens lovely. We will be back !

Gîte très bien avec tout ce qu'il faut dans un endroit calme au milieu de la nature! Pas loin du centre ville de Lamballe et premières plages à 15min! Propriétaires très sympas Piscine très bien entretenue Je recommande vivement!
