Walk around the corner to cafes, restaurants, and shops—or head to the ocean and Lover’s Point cove a few blocks away. There’s a lot to be grateful for in this historic home in downtown Pacific Grove. A former event venue, it has multiple living areas on the first floor, including a den with books and games; a large dining room; a commercial kitchen; two side-by-side powder rooms; and a spacious patio with an outdoor fireplace. NOTE: downstairs fireplace is inoperable. Upstairs there are three bedrooms (one Queen and two doubles) along with one full bath (tub, walk-in shower, and separate toilet compartment).  Driveway parking. Pacific Grove Transient Use License #0461

The house was very clean and full of amenities that made our stay comfortable. The location can not be beat it is 1/2 block from a street full of restaurants and shops. Do not miss the PG Natural Culture and History museum which is just a short block away.

Place was well maintained. Two towels were wet on arrival. They were folded so not sure they were folded wet from dryer or from previous renter. You do have an ant problem. noticed them in the kitchen and master bathroom. Great location. Not a good layout for more than two guess since there is only one bathroom upstairs. Would stay there again with my wife if the price was right. We volunteer for the AT&T Pro AM aach year.

Excellent Stay in Monterey

The Gratitude Inn was an excellent place for our visit to Pacific Grove. It's an easy walk to both Lovers Point (and The Beach House restaurant!) and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The house was comfortable and clean and the kitchen was magnificent - a great place to cook "at home" when traveling. It was also wonderful to have off-street parking so we didn't have to worry about where we had left the car. Cannot recommend this property highly enough :-)

Great location

Great location

This is truly a great location and property. The property was exceedingly clean and large enough for my family to have space. We enjoyed the beautiful kitchen. Overall, a very good experience.

Perfect summer getaway

We really enjoyed our time at this property. It has everything we needed for a family friendly stay. The back deck, surround sound music, and easy walks to beach and dining make this an excellent choice. The construction is loud— but evenings are quiet and it didn’t bother us at all!

Perfect Retreat for a family getaway

Aptly named, the gratitude in was the perfect respite for my family and I ( 6 adults) to enjoy Father’s Day. Will have to try the many local restaurants some other time because we fell in love with the kitchen and enjoyed meal prep and breakfast in the spacious dining room most nights. Will definitely consider gratitude for my next stay in the area.

Fantastic!

Great location. Cool property. Easy access to all Monterey and Carmel have to offer. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is a chef’s dream.

Grattitude Inn

My family and I just returned home from an amazing stay at the Grattitude Inn at Pacific Cove. The location could not get any better it was a quick walk to the beach and you turned the corner and you were directly downtown. We were also so close to the farmers market that happens on Mondays. The place was clean and fully stocked. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

One of the best

We stayed here including my wife, two year old, and my mother and it was a fantastic setup for everyone. The place is spacious and has a wonderful patio with gas fireplace out back The location couldn’t be better in Pacific Grove since everything is so walkable. We’ll try and get this house again next time we’re back in the area.

Wonderful weekend!

Perfect for a larger group that wants to have their own space but still be able to gather and spend time in community together. We were able to easily walk to so many different tourist locations. House amenities and space are amazing and we loved our stay. Only issue was there was so many flies on the patio that we were not able to go out there at all.

Wonderful stay!

We are so happy that we found the Gratitude Inn for our recent Labor Day getaway in the Monterey Bay! The house is in a wonderful location, close to everything that you could want to do in the area, with shops and restaurants steps from the front door. We had everything we needed and more at this house that had modern amenities, all while keeping the home's vintage charm. Incredibly comfortable beds, a commercial style kitchen for any culinary adventure, an amazing library for reading and enjoying your morning coffee (I also did yoga here and it was perfect!). It was truly a wonderful stay! Thank you!

Thank you for calling the odor to our attention. We certainly want to investigate that, and will do so right away. As is indicated in the listing, the property does have one full bathroom and two half-baths. Street parking in the area is temporarily limited, due to a construction project across the street. Of course, that won’t always be the case, so while construction is in progress, we are offering this property at a rate that will give guests an opportunity to stay in the heart of downtown Pacific Grove for a price that is more than reasonable!

Great house and fantastic location!

This house is better than the pictures show! It was roomy and cozy at the same time. The kitchen is a dream and the music system was a great bonus. We spent hours around the outside fireplace enjoying the cool weather and card games. The house is located 15 yards to the shops and restaurants of Pacific Grove. And we could see the ocean from the sidewalk in front of the house. We look forward to the next time we get to stay here again!

Comfortable for 3 couples

This was a former restaurant so the kitchen was amazing (for us non-professional chefs!) The location is nice, just a couple blocks from Lover's Cove (we scuba!). Noise wasn't too bad despite construction site across the street. Some fixtures need repair, bulbs replaced etc. but overall very nice. We would book again!

Spacious and rustic, comfortable and quiet

My family of 5 (3 young kids) loved staying here. We came down for Cali Roots and wanted something spacious, somewhat affordable and close to the beach. The kitchen is a former commercial kitchen of some sort and was absolutely amazing to cook in. Cozy backyard deck. Cozy indoors with big spacious dinner table. Comfortable beds. Bathrooms and shower and bath were great. Super quiet neighborhood. Code lock on the door was very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay and would come back again!

FYI, when we arrived a dinning room chair back was broken, half of the upstairs window shades were broken and one fell down, bathtub was dirty, half of the lights did not work.

Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We fixed the dining chair, but the shades are at the point where they need replacing. We’ve reached out to the owner and she’s given her approval (luckily almost all the windows also have curtains). The bathtub and bulbs should have been reported by our inspector, so we do apologize for the oversight. In the future, please call our 24-hour line: they would have happily cleaned the tub and replaced the bulbs (typically within 30 minutes of your call).
