167 feet from Boardwalk and Beach in San Diego’s premier beach destination, Mission Beach. 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment. Includes high speed Wifi and streaming cable. Property includes 1 queen bed, 2 full beds, 1 queen deluxe air mattress and a comfortable couch.

1) More than 4 guests must be pre-approved before booking.

This is a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment just 167 feet from the boardwalk and the beach in San Diego’s premier beach destination, Mission Beach. The apartment is on the second floor of a three story building. The floors are carpet. The appliances, furniture, electronics, linens and artwork are all brand new.
This is a 14 unit, three story apartment building with a shared gated yard for relaxation, sitting in the sun or a bbq.
Take advantage of our kitchen for meals, or venture out and sample some awesome San Diego restaurants during your stay here! Start the morning off right with some coffee in the kitchen, or pick up coffee at one of the numerous neighborhood coffee stands and walk two blocks to the beach for a stroll as you watch the surf.
We are 167 Feet from San Diego's most iconic beach. Have a hamburger or get a scoop of ice cream. Talk a walk or learn to surf, maybe rent a bike. It’s all right there at your doorstep. Groceries, Restaurants and Microbreweries are all around. Of course, you will have access to our communal BBQ grill, and it's always a good time to cook out.
After lunch, head back home and take a nap on a cozy couch or one of the high end beds.
If you like shopping, you are virtually 10-20 minutes from any destination in the greater San Diego Metro area. I would suggest starting with the cool little shops a couple blocks away.
For Touristy stuff... well, the beach is two blocks away. Step out on the sidewalk and look west. It's that blue thing where the land ends. SeaWorld is a five minute drive. The World Famous San Diego Zoo is a ten minute drive away. Disneyland is a ninety minute drive.

Great location and management!

Will definitely be staying here when we visit San Diego again! Location to beach and restaurants was amazing, management was great and it was a very comfortable place to stay.

Perfect stay at nice location

Nice and clean apartment in a great location which comes along with a parking lot! Very close to beach and bars, also other great attractions in San Diego are close by.

Perfect location

The place was amazing! We’ve stayed all over mission and this was the perfect spot - close to so many restaurants and shops. So many updated amenities and extras (beach towels, beach toys and boogie boards). Owners are great with communicating any updates and check-ins. Will be booking again!

Great Vacation

We loved it here, stayed for 6 nights then went on our travels. Doug is a great host with clear instructions and kept in touch during our stay. He gave us some good restaurant recommendations. The location is great with the ocean on one side and the ‘lake’ on the other everything is a short Uber away.

Great place to land

The apartment was the perfect fit for our family of 4. Great location as it was so close to the beach yet we couldn’t hear noise at night from the night life. It is clean and the communication from the owner is top notch. Would definitely stay again!

Graduation Trip

We traveled in for my son’s college graduation, this Condo was perfect for us, it was clean, had everything we needed, even a washer dryer. You can walk down to the beach and many shops and restaurants. This was a convenient location to ucsd and many other attractions.

Family Time

Had a great trip to SD right before school began. The property is as advertised and steps from the beach which was exactly what we were after and perfect for our family. Will definitely look to use this place again in the future. The property owner (Doug) was very helpful and responsive.

Perfect fit for family vacation in San Diego

This was an awesome rental! We loved the location near Mission Beach. We were so close to the beach but not on the beach, which I prefer, because the boardwalk is busy. Excellent location to so many restaurants & coffee shops. Mission Beach itself is a great location for exploring San Diego - we were never more than 20 minute drive to so many activities. The rental was spotless and everything we needed. The host was easy to communicate with, too! Hope to come back soon!

Perfect spot for our beach getaway

This was the perfect spot for me and my two kids, ages 16 and 11. Just steps away from the beach and a fun mile long walk to Belmont Park. The house had all the amenities we needed. The shower outside was perfect for reducing the amount of sand being brought in. Doug was excellent with communication and getting in and out was easy. Parking spots are small, which is to be expected by the beach, but just something to be aware of if you have an SUV. We would definitely stay again if we return to this area.

Great location with a everything you need

We loved the location of this condo. We had quick access to both the ocean and the bay side. The restaurants and shops were fun. The condo itself was small but really just enough. We stayed with our family of 3 teenagers (18,18,16) The kitchen was well stocked. My only complaint would be the shower. When you try to turn the shower on; it doesn’t go up all the way so half of you water is coming out of the bottom tub filler which make the shower head have very little pressure and the you are standing in a tub full of water. It doesn’t drain well.

Great spot VERY close to the beach

We booked a last minute get away and loved this spot. We were literally a 1 minute walk from the beach. 10 minutes from multiple restaurants, stores, etc. The unit was clean and tidy. The kitchen was very small, but I had room to plug in a waffle iron and coffee maker in the morning and pour a cocktail in the evening...that's all the room we needed! Doug was super communicative and a great host. If you're looking for bare bones dogs that check the box without any of the bells & whistles but will all the necessities of a stay in Mission Beach, this is your spot.

Mission beach gem

Clean little apartment close to the beach. Central to all the things mission beach has to offer. The neighbors were friendly and the place was perfect for our short San Diego adventure. We loved having parking and the other tenants were respectful of space. For being a busy area, the apartment was quiet. It was so nice to be just steps from the beach. Doug was a great communicator and super helpful with recommendations about the area. We’d definitely return here!

Fantastic Location

Our family stay was so wonderful . The apt was very spacious. Very comfy beds! Had everything we needed! And of course the location. Beach/Ocean literally steps away . Our Host Doug was very attentive.through texts. He gave wonderful suggestions for food, drinks, entertainment . We never had to drive , everything is walking distance . We will definitely return to Doug’s Place!

Great location- responsive host

Location, Location, Location! We stayed here for the weekend of the fourth and had a great time. So many places to go within walking distance, we were able to watch a pod of dolphins playing in the water just at the end of the street from the boardwalk. My only advise is if you are coming in the summer, bring 2 or 3 box fans for the windows. You dont get a lot of the ocean breeze in the windows but if you place box fans in the windows- it will cool things off incredibly. Beds were comfortable and the sheets were super soft!

Great location, could use some updates.

Location is amazing! Very close to great restaurants and the beach really is just steps away. Owner communicated regularly throughout our stay to make sure everything was good. Only draw back was the place needs updating. Carpet, rug pretty worn. Bathroom tiles in shower and shower door could use a good scrub. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen fully functional. The main door is kinda warped, so you could see lots of light from the hallway through the top, bottom, side. The lock does work, but a chain would've made me feel a bit more secure. Overall, it is a nice vacation spot.
