Your Private Tropical Getaway

Welcome to your home away from home! Enjoy a beautifully appointed 2-bedroom, 2-bath retreat with coastal décor, a private heated pool, and spacious lanai—all tucked into a quiet, palm-lined tropical backyard surrounded by privacy fencing.

Relax by the pool, dine outdoors, or start your morning with coffee in the rocking chair. The lanai features a dining table, conversation set, lounge chairs, and an outdoor shower, plus a beach-toy clean-up station.

Inside, the home offers:

* King bed in the primary bedroom and queen bed in the second bedroom
* Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, toaster, blender, and mixer
* Smart TVs in the living room and both bedrooms (bring your streaming logins)
* Sliding doors that open directly to the patio and pool

Enjoy leisurely walks and bike rides through our peaceful neighborhood. The beach is less than 2 miles away, with beautiful Manasota Key and Blind Pass nearby. Nature lovers will appreciate the South Venice Lemon Bay Preserve trails, located at the end of the street.

Pool heat: Available for an additional $25/day or $150/week.

Pet policy: See House Rules. Maximum of two dogs, under 20 lbs. each. No exceptions.

Please note: The home is not child-proofed for children under 24 months.

Venice vacation

We arrived to find a very clean and spacious home with a beautiful pool in a nice neighborhood. Close to shopping and great beaches. Centrally located. We had a wonderful stay and the host and home exceeded our expectations.

Home was so comfortable, clean and cozy and had all the beach vibes going. It was well stocked with plenty of items. This was much more than just a vacation rental home. Fabulous pool area where we spent most of the time hanging out.Neighborhood was very quiet and located near lots of shopping and restaurants. Manasota beach was beautiful with wonderful sunsets. A bit of a walk to get to it, but if you enjoy walking it’s doable from the house. We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely would come back.

My two sisters and I enjoyed our incredible stay at Pineapples & Palms. Everything was easy....the booking, check-in, everything! The house provided absolutely all we needed for a great trip. Bill & Terri, the hosts, are so easy to work with and so incredibly nice. The pool & lanai are one of my favorites about the house. The perfect coffee spot early in the morning. We will book this house again in the near future.

Great couple weeks in South Venice

Great stay at this property. Quiet neighborhood. Very nice enclosed heated pool. Backyard is very private. Walking distance from Lemon Bay Preserve. Short drive to Manisota Beach. Property Manager was very responsive. Great communication. Definitely would stay again.

We have been vacationing in the South Venice area for a few years ourselves, and fell in love with the area, beaches,relaxed environment, activities, and friendly people! It just might be the last of the more old Florida relaxed coastal neighborhoods.

We like the on/off switch- close enough to the more touristy events then retreat to your decompress environment. You have your own private pool, surrounded by either fence or palm trees! The back yard provides a lot of privacy, it's your own little oasis from the rest of the world. This is a quiet area. Close enough to enjoy all the beaches, Manasota Key, local activities and businesses, but quiet enough to get away from it all.

City water, tropical, close to beach, and high speed internet!! If you have visited the area before, you know how important these are!! We are fortunate to be in this area with those benefits. If you have not been here before, let's just say the well water in many rentals is not the most desirable. Space for bringing your kayak and store securely behind the fence, yet easy to pull out and go! And yes, there are banana and pineapple plants in the yard. If you happen to stay here during season, feel free to pick some fresh fruit right off the plant!
