Cozy Cabin with Views

Newly remodeled Beautiful, peaceful home out in the country on a small 25-acre family farm. Enjoy the Amazing views of Mesa Verde, La Plata Mtns. and sit back and take in the breathtaking sunsets over the Ute Mountains.
Visit Mesa Verde, bike Phil's World (Simon Draw entrance only 1/2 mile down the county road). Great hunting, fishing, rafting, skiing, and snowmobiling in the area. Relax underneath a covered porch, barbecue and enjoy the beauty of this cabin tucked away on a quiet country road.

Game Room filled with books, puzzles, games, fuse ball table for the kids to enjoy!
Enjoy the many sunsets and the peacefulness this place has to offer.

We may be around to meet you shortly after you arrive or sometime during your stay. If we don't we hope you enjoy your stay.

Our homestead and family farm is on the property so we are often out working on the place. Our dogs may be by to visit, they are friendly but just remember they know it as their home.
Extra charges will be added for property damage, theft, or excessive cleaning.
The management reserves the right to refuse services to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind.

The cabin had all of the comforts of home meaning that all we had to buy was food. All cookware, utensils and everything else was provided. There were plenty of bed linens and towels. Mainly the cabin was clean.

This cabin is a little piece of quiet relaxation heaven. We stayed here for a work trip and getting back “home” after a long day it was like being home. One issue we had was the owner show up twice (not a real big deal) but the second time she was knocking and when we didn’t answer she just came in and then told us that she seen we were there so she just came in. Sorry I’m a VRBO owner and that is not acceptable and technically against the law!

The cozy cabin was just what we needed for our family vacation. Shelly came down one night and visited with us and we asked her about Telluride and we are so glad she told us to park at Mountain Village and ride the gondola over to Telluride. It was fun to ride and the views were amazing! If you go you need to eat at Brown Dog Pizza. It was the best pizza we’ve ever had. The cabin was centrally located so we were able to go to Mesa Verde, Four Corners, Telluride and Ouray. We loved the peaceful nights sitting out on the deck enjoying a great view of the mountains. We loved how Shelly decorated it also. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful property and lovely hosts. It's a very spacious house with everything you need. Our family of four was quite comfortable. We loved the back porch and the very relaxed feel. So thankful for these places we can go to visit!

Place to unwind and enjoy

We came in for a wedding and needed a certain amount of space and separate sleeping areas. This was perfect. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Everything we needed. Host was responsive. Enjoyed our short stay

Cabin

Are experience at this cabin was very nice, it has a beautiful front and back yard and was very relaxing to set some lawn chairs out under the shade tree and enjoy the peace and quiet.We couldn’t ask for anything else, easy access into the home and was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The cabin has a game room with game and even a corn hole game to play .We had an opportunity to meet our hostess and all that I can say is she is an amazing lady. I hope to see her again.Thank you Shelly.

Cozy cabin lived up to its name

Our family enjoyed the peacefulness and adventure of this cozy cabin. We saw deer and turkey and the owner’s friendly pups. The one was fun. The kids loved the foosball table. We loved eating on the back porch and star gazing at night.

Mancos Stay

The house was very clean. The view from the back porch was amazing with plenty of deer as well. It was pretty hot when we stayed and a fan would have helped pushing the air from the water cooler but it did cool down later at night. Overall, the property is nice, quiet and in a great location.

Very comfortable

We had such a nice weekend at this house attending a family reunion in the area. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. Definitely look forward to having an opportunity to stay there again.

The property was clean and well stocked. The owner takes extra steps to make sure her guest are comfortable. The cabin was close to Mesa Verde.

Pleasant pastoral setting

The place was clean and quiet and close to Mesa Verde. It had a slightly quirky construction with uneven floors and you need to watch your step when moving between rooms (some were additions and at slightly different elevations). But everything worked well. There’s a covered patio in back with a great view.

great location!

This is a fun old farmhouse that has been remodeled. It is in a private and excellent location with space to yourself, tons of parking, and amazing 360 views. We would come here again!

Great house in Mancos!

We loved this house in Mancos. The views and backyard were the best. Our family loved playing games in the backyard, the privacy and peacefulness of this home. Our two day stay in this home was a highlight on our Colorado road trip!

Great place to stay if you like quite country life it is the place to be.

The house is old but very well furnished with everything that you would need. Very comfortable nice views form the dinning table.. The house smelled wonderful the whole week we were there. We Loved it. and the host could not have been better

Great Space

Awesome site. As a family of 5 we are always looking for somewhere to stay where everyone can have their space. This is a great place for that. There is space in the cabin. There is space outside the cabin. It is close enough to everything so you aren't driving forever, but far enough away that you get to enjoy the peace and fresh air. We loved it.

Great cabin!

We had a wonderful and very comfortable stay at Shelly’s cabin. The beds are super comfy and the cutest cabin ever has all you need for cooking, relaxing and makes for a very comfortable get away. We were working locally during our stay and the cabin was a welcome retreat at the end of the day. Would highly recommend!
