Great house, great location

Had a great stay at this home in Porters Corners. About 20 minutes away from downtown Saratoga this is a great space to be away from the crowds but close to the action. The house was excellent and exactly as described, including a great front lawn and awesome pool/backyard space. Communication with hosts was smooth and flexible, and we had a great stay!

Wonderful, Quiet Stay!

We really enjoyed this property. The owners went above and beyond to take care of us (including during a blackout!). It was a short drive (about 20 minutes) to downtown Saratoga. It was great to get to explore during the day and head back to a nice, quiet space in the evening.

Fantastic Stay

Had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything is as described in the listing. The communication with the owner was A+. Very responsive and attentive to our needs. Pool was warm and clean. House is beautiful and well maintained. No issues at all. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home, great location near Saratoga Springs.

Beautiful home in great location. Perfect yard for barbecue and pool fun. Home is spacious and well appointed. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, my husband is very allergic to dogs and had a problem with allergies the entire stay. We did not know that the home owners owned two dogs. I think this should have been in the listing. Overall, we had a very nice stay.

Great house!

House was perfect for our family. Perfect size and plenty for kids to do. House was well stocked and Paul always made sure we were good with everything we needed or restocked everyday. Beautiful home , great stay, everyone had a blast. Hopefully can book again next year!

Great Property, Everything You Would need

Rachel and Paul's house is excellent property with everything you would ever need. The house was spacious and clean, the yard was immaculate and provides and excellent outdoor space. We spent just about every afternoon in the pool and every night by the fire pit. It is a very quiet, secluded neighborhood about 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown Saratoga. Paul was communicative throughout the weekend and made the entire process seamless. Plan some extra time to get Ubers/transportation if heading to the track or downtown during busy times.

Spring break

Our family as a whole loved spending time around the fire pit. We also were told by the owner of a nearby stream in the back of the house, and had an adventure through the woods! My children loved the property just as much as we did!

Private Resort with all the amenities.

We could not have been happier with our stay. Paul and Rachel are the most welcoming hosts we have ever had. Paul met us to open the house and show us around. Rachel left an overly generous gift basket with a very nice card. The house and property are gorgeous. The inside is brand new, warm and comfortable. This is an actual home. A lot of rentals are just businesses for the hosts. They are cold and empty. The bedrooms are large and the house has everything you would need or want. The backyard was the reason we came. We wanted a few days to sit and do nothing. We sat by the pool, the kids swam literally all day and night. We BBQ'd and used the fire pit to roast s'mores. We can't wait to return.

Perfect Girls weekend getaway house!

This property is absolutely beautiful and a great find. It is nestled in the quiet woods outside of Saratoga Springs. Upon our arrival Paul had left a wonderful gift basket of treats for me and my guests which was so sweet! He was there upon arrival and took his time to give us a tour of the house and show us how to use some electronics, the pool lighting as well as show us how to use the grill. He was available at anytime with any questions that had arisen throughout the weekend. For my 7 guests there was plenty of room for everyone. The pool is a great feature as well and the bedrooms are very spacious. It is about 15 mins or so from downtown Saratoga. If you are looking to be walking distance from anything then this is not the house for you. Also note that trying to get an Uber/Lyft into town was a bit of a struggle , but coming back from town was less of an issue. There were a few things that the house could have used for improvement; some more lighting by the pool/sitting area outside, long type mirrors and also a mirror in the main master room on the first level. I would also add to ensure that there are cleaning supplies such as rubber gloves, a dish drying rack and paper towels. As my group did the dishes we had no where to put them to dry. Another suggestion would be to add some fly traps or fly catchers since the flies were taking over at one point. Another tip would be to leave some instructions out on how everything works such as the dishwasher etc. We had not closed it properly one day and there was a beeping noise that we could not figure out until we reached out to Paul who helped us identify that it was the dishwasher. Overall Paul was an excellent host and the house is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend staying at Paul's home for a nice upstate getaway.

Weekend Away with Friends

Paul and Rachel’s home was a phenomenal spot to spend a long weekend with eight friends. The outdoor space had a beautiful pool, an awesome fire pit, a great grill, and plenty of space for lounging! The indoor space was great for cooking, and equipped with all the creature comforts one would need for a weekend (or week!) away! Paul and Rachel were very communicative, and I would highly recommend the property!

Great upstate retreat

Paul (the host) was very communicative from the beginning which was great since we didn't really know the area. The property is beautifully landscaped with tons of green space to run around or play sports in. Pool and deck areas are fantastic to hang out in backed up by woods for great privacy. The house was huge with plenty of room for 9 of us of varying ages and has pretty much everything you need inside - the master suite is a wing of its own. Kitchen/living area is perfect for big families and entertaining. 15 mins to Saratoga Springs and 30 mins to Lake George also made this an ideal location. Great overall experience!

Hi and welcome to our listing. Our family home is opened up for you to enjoy. We work hard at providing a great stay and experience for your family in the Saratoga Springs area. And would love to discuss the areas options and opportunities for vacationers. We enjoy renting to vacationing families. Recent changes to VRBO policy and two bad incidents with renters who intentionally lied about their plans has forced us to be careful to who we rent to as well as ensuring everything is documented in writing. Unfortunately past incidents and damage to our home has forced us to implement these types of documentation. We pride ourselves on being as accommodating as possible and attentive to all your needs.

We designed our home from start to finish and take great pride in the house. The house is 15 minutes to Saratoga Springs events. Car services are available as well. We also are close to the Glens Falls and Lake George areas . We provide everything that we think anyone could need. We leave everything in our home for you to use, from dinnerware, to spices and all the items in our pantry.

This is our home which we designed and had built. We live here most of the year and use the rental income to pay for property taxes etc. Our home is newly built with oversized large bedrooms and a large first floor open area leading to the rear covered patio and pool area. There is a large fire pit with all the wood you can use. The pool is salt water generated and heated to 82 degrees.
