La Casa Curiosa is rich with history, situated on one of the most revered Eastside streets. Located just steps away from shops, restaurants, art galleries, and the Plaza, this estate is perfect for those individuals wanting to be close to “everything that is Santa Fe,” all the while being nestled in a gated, half-acre property with ample parking… indeed a rare find on the historic Eastside!

The primary residence has been recently remodeled with attention to every detail. There are 5 bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen, 1 full, 2 twins) with Casper mattresses and bedding, perfect for a cozy night’s rest after a long day shopping, or a tough day on the slopes! Each room is well appointed with upscale furnishings, lighting, and smart TVs.

The large great room opens to a formal dining room and is complete with wood burning fireplace, surrounded by decorative artwork.

The newly renovated gourmet kitchen boasts cafe appliances and a butler’s pantry, with an adjacent formal dining room perfect for a family meal!

The home is equipped with 4 HD smart TVs throughout, Sonos speakers, as well as a turntable in the great room - perfect for evening entertainment!

The “Curiosity Room” is sure to entice both young and old with rare artifacts and hidden treasures obtained from around the world. This room is perfect for enjoying games, reading, or watching the sunrise/ sunset.

Included in this rental, La Casa Curiosa also has its own beautiful casita detached from the main home. The Scandinavian finish-out is remarkably cozy, all the while keeping the historic exterior of the structure. The casita has a gourmet kitchen, living area, bathroom, and queen bed.

Really beautiful, and eccentric home with loads of style. It was the most well-stocked home we’ve stayed in-with great toiletries, plenty of clean towels, toilet paper, coffee items, fruit, etc. Cannot recommend this home enough!

The location is excellent – walking distance to the Plaza and Canyon Road. Sparkling clean old adobe house with amazing large yard, old kitchen with new appliances, comfortable beds, spacious dining room and living room. Communication with the hosts was exemplary.

Girls Getaway

The house and casita are beautiful and well styled. Our group of 8 women slept comfortably in the bedrooms. The location was AMAZING! We were able to walk to town and enjoy the galleries, shops, and restaurants. The kitchen perfectly suited our light cooking needs and the expansive dining table sat us all for gathering. We loved our stay!

This is an amazing property. We had a group of 10 college friends celebrating our 65th birthday year. The large comfortable living room was a perfect place to end each day together. The long dining table fit us all and we used the smaller room as a breakfast nook where we planned each day's activities. The large well-stocked kitchen allowed us to cook together. We did four glorious hikes all within 30 to 70 minutes from the house. The house is a half block from the galleries of Canyon Road, a 15 minute walk from the historic downtown, and within walking distance of a small grocery and drug store. We also used the casita which provided a quite place for those who needed a quiet spot to work. The private yard provided several places to sit outside. Plus, the sun shone every day.

The house is absolutely adorable — so thoughtful in terms of decor and attention to detail. It was well stocked in the kitchen with everything we needed to cook, the flow/layout was fantastic for a girls trip and proximity to DT was fabulous! Communicating with Emily and Carl prior to booking was seamless and the property manager, Alyse, was great as well!! Highly recommend for a fabulous weekend exploring Santa Fe.

Historic Home in the Heart of Santa Fe

Our family convened for a week in Santa Fe to visit cousins and celebrate a 75th birthday. The home was lovely and comfortable. It added a real charm to our overall experience in the city. The property manager was easy to get in touch with and also gave us great recommendations (babysitter, housekeeper). In the end one couple could not make it and we were relieved as 3 of the guest bedrooms share one small bathroom. So, while we had an empty bedroom, the property felt "full" with 6 adults and 1 toddler.

Lovely but worn

The location was perfect for exploring Santa Fe and the house was the right size for our group of six. The manager was most helpful and prompt in answering our questions. The overall condition of the historic home did not match our expectations. There were quite a few damaged items in the house when we arrived and it appeared to be worn. Hopefully, with some attention to needed repairs it will be more welcoming to future guests.

This is a beautiful and perfect home for our family of 8 gathering to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday. We even had an extra room, were able to make a beautiful fire, and were inside and outside depending on the weather. Delightful, special and one-of a kind! Thank you!

A fabulous home in a fabulous location!

I rented this home for a girls trip of 9 women, most of whom had never been to Santa Fe, and it was PERFECT for us! With a gorgeous family room where we could all gather and enjoy a fire, and plentiful space to enjoy meals and chats outside too - we had a wonderful stay! The property manager was super helpful from arrival to departure instructions and warmly welcoming, and we all left feeling very grateful for this beautiful home within walking distance of The Plaza and terrific restaurants. Would stay there again for sure! So thrilled we booked this!

Good location, very private.

A historic home with plenty of space inside and out, plus lots of charm. Very well equipped and maintained. Main house has 5 bedrooms, but only 3 bathrooms. Ran out of hot water on shower day. Casita is in new modern style and very comfortable. Easy walking distance to gallerys, shops, and restaurants.

An enjoyable weekend

This is a great house for a weekend away with friends and family. The house has lots of character (I'm guessing it was built early 1900's). There are good places to hang out with everyone: a large lounge, a dining table than can fit 10, a breakfast table, a large garden. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the decor is fun. It's 5-10 mins walk from downtown. I would definitely book again! A couple of remarks to potential renters: (i) There are a lot of small decorative objects; these could be problematic with a young child. (ii) Don't expect a brand new house: Some rooms share jack-and-jill bathrooms and you're aware of the house's age when showering. It's all part of the charm!

Beautiful Home, Prime Location

We had an amazing stay at this house with our family and friends! The large front and backyard were the perfect spot for the kiddos to run around while the adults relaxed. House is walking distance to amazing restaurants and shops. You can’t beat the location. House was very clean, comfortable beds and lots of space. If you are coming to Santa Fe, you want to book this house!

Every little detail - perfect.

We had just the best time staying in this charming home. It was 6 friends from college (40 yrs +) and this home is just charming. Straight out of Anthropologie. We loved every.single.detail. The home manager was just so thoughtful, responsive and helped us even plan some dinners and outings. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I want to live in this house!

This house is gorgeous! Perfectly located with just a 2 minute walk to Canyon road. Quite neighborhood but located exactly where you want to be. We stayed here with 3 other couples for a weekend and hand the best time. The house is beautifully decorated inside and classic adobe exterior. The perfect Santa Fe experience.

Perfect home

Everything you see in the photos is accurate. It was close to everything - beautiful home. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Perfect walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

Absolutely perfect

This house could not possibly be more beautiful and charming. Not to mention comfortable and cozy! We had so much fun staying here - a short walk from all the action, a huge beautiful backyard and back porch to enjoy peaceful evenings and meals, and the casita is gorgeous too! We will be back one day :)

We are the Bischoffs from Austin, Texas. Over the years we have visited family in Santa Fe and fell in love with the city's unique character and proximity to endless outdoor activities. Due to our fondness of the city and the picturesque surroundings, we decided to become homeowners in Santa Fe with the hopes of someday retiring here. We enjoy spending time with our extended family here and hope to share some of those experiences with your family!

We enjoy hosting guests and have a hands-on approach to accommodating our guests. We feel that our home is special in that we appointed it thoughtfully to ensure luxury comfort in the heart of Santa Fe. You will be hard pressed to beat our level of commitment to our lovely home.
