Beautiful Getaway

We had a wonderful time here in St Thomas, probably the most relaxing ever, with the lovely beach right in front of us and the salt water pool that, I used every day instead of my usual walk. I loved the snorkeling just steps away so gorgeous! The lodging was clean and cozy, but they should tell you that there is a stove, so that you can cook yummy things, breakfast, lunch and dinner. When we checked in they did add 50 a day that was a shock, normally I pay everything upfront, taxes etc. That was misleading! Otherwise we had a wonderful Vacation!

Nice, but read the fine print

We have stayed at this resort before and love St. Thomas. It is right on the beach and the on-site pool is very nice. the guests are part Wyndham and part older independent timeshare owners. The pool and restaurant are also independent of Wyndham. Both were very nice and the restaurant manager was awesome! Make sure you read the all of the description. Since we had stayed before, we only skimmed it. Missed the note about the environmental fees, which add up on a longer stay. Also, both of our rooms had to move mid stay which was a pain. talking to a few other guests, sounds like most had to move.

Overall was very nice. Great to have access to pool with beautiful view of ocean. Had a little trouble with a/c - was either too cold or too warm and kind of damp. Would be nice if there was a more traditional breakfast available at the restaurant. Also, safe was broken. We notified the front desk several times, maintenance was out but they never got it working.

Great stay

Nice quiet beachfront resort. Good restaurant on site and market. Pool bar and beach with great sunset view. We loved our stay nice location to come back to after a day of exploring the island..

Unreliable Property Manager

Two months before our trip, we made a 6-night reservation which was instantly confirmed. However, 9 days before our trip, we received a message from the property manager that they were only able to fulfill the first 3 nights but would continue to look for the other 3 nights if we agreed. Fortunately, we were able to make our own arrangements for the other 3 nights. The property manager did quickly refund half the nights, so all should have been good. However, we had issues with the resort at check-in (due to their error). They insisted we contact the property owner to remedy the situation. We had received a text prior to our trip that claimed to be from the property owner (with his name) and a phone number for issues. That phone number ended up being some poor man that has nothing to do with the property owner, property manager or Vrbo. It was apparent we were not the first to call him about issues. (And we later learned that text was not from the property owner.) So we contacted another number for the property manager only to have the rep tell us they could not help us because it was the resort's error. I insisted he contact the property owner for us. He said he would and would get back within the hour. Thankfully, the property owner eventually called us (after the resort had corrected the error) to be sure all was ok. But the property mgmt co didn't contact us back until 2 hours later and only sent a text with the front desk phone number. Never again!

Well I can't tell you what it was like because I made my reservation a month in advance and then less than a week before I'm supposed to go they canceled my room with no explanation. Sure I got a refund but hell there was no rooms left on the whole island by this time so I had to cancel my trip. And of course I got non-refundable tickets so there went two grand in airplane tickets. Plus the $800 I had on reservations for snorkeling and dinners. So if you're going to stay here I don't know what to tell you. Look out

Spent a couple of nights in st Thomas before BVI. Was here a few years ago and not impressed . Post hurricane and rebuild would definitively come back. Thanks for a great stay.!

Perfect Remote Get Away

We absolutely loved it here. If you are looking for a smaller remote vibe book here! Every where else on the island is super packed. This place is kid friendly. If youre looking for a laid back kind of vibe this is it! Beach access, theres a resturant and a market at the resort.

Perfect Location on St. Thomas USVI

Our week on St. Thomas was filled with unforgettable memories. Limetree Resort was the perfect central location. Our suite was just perfect, equipped with everything you need to cook a quick breakfast and brew coffee before heading out for a day of adventure. The staff is quick to response to every request. The view from our suite was stunning. We could see the sapphire water and feel the breeze with a full view of the cruise ships entering. Megans Bay Beach was spectacular, calm turquoise waters... a relaxing day at the beach. Sapphire Beach has a different vibe...waves, music and a great cafe (High Tide) to order from. Dining at the Oceana in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas was our favorite meal of our trip. Add to your agenda a day to take the ferry to St. John's from Redhook. The ferry back at dark is spectacular. Such a fantastic week!!!

Beautiful property!

Excellent facility! The resort was beautiful. The views were picturesque. Having the beach as the backdrop for the pool was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner was communicative and helpful. The front desk brought us towels and such quickly and were helpful. The fitness center was small but well done. Overall, loved our stay!!!

Our reservation was cancelled 3 days before we were scheduled to arrive on St. Thomas despite having planned the trip months prior; the property manager sent a curt message saying that the owner had been "non responsive" and that the space would actually not be available, despite having made a non-refundable reservation. Unbelievable. We had to completely amend our plans and stay elsewhere because of what I surmise was an error booking that no one bothered to notice until the last minute.

Compact Resort

We loved how compact this resort is! The beach, pool, cabanas & restaurants are a short walk to any of them. We had a beautiful ocean front view from our balcony! The pool was exquisite! The food from both restaurants was delicious!

Beautiful

This resort is very beautiful and peaceful. The room is a good size and had everything we needed. We had a studio I believe. It had a balcony, living space, big bed, a kitchenette, and a nice size bathroom. The property is well kept, laid back and quiet. A nice beach right on property and a large pool. The property has a restaurant, market/deli, and pool bar on site. My questions were answered quickly by the host. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others as well.
