Relaxation

The condo was well furnished with necessities needed for comfort however you should pack extra toiletries. The sliding glass door in the living room is very hard to open. The balcony view and amenities is by far the best at Portifino. I would recommend the condo and will plan to revisit in the future.

Great condo

The place was super nice and in a great location. The pool was very convenient and we were able to charge drinks and food to our room. The beach was directly across the street. Only thing I would suggest to the owners of this place is to provide an adequate amount of the toiletries for the stay. I didn’t anticipate that we would need to go to the store and purchase toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo and soap when we arrived. Other than that I would highly recommend staying at Portofina Condos!

Beautiful Resort

We loved the Portofino Resort! I have never stayed anywhere where the employees were as friendly as these. Every single person we walked by, drove by or interacted with was exceptionally friendly and kind. Each person went above and beyond. The condo we stayed in was in tower 1. Our next visit we will stay in a different tower. We are older and the walking was a bit much. However, there is a tram system to use but we didn’t figure that out until too late. The pools were very nice as well. The only downsides on the condo are fixable and did not alter our enjoyment. A couple of hooks were lose in the guest bedroom. The guest bedroom door didn’t lock to the patio. The refrigerator needs a new water filter and the showers had low pressure. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Vacation Spring ‘23

The front desk staff was undermanned so the check in process was slow. We arrived before the allowed entry time (4:00pm) and instead of being given key cards that would not work until four we were told to come back to the check in desk after 4:00lm. This amounted to a cumulative half an hour of waiting. The unit clearly has two designated garage parking spaces but we were told we were only allocated one. As a result our guest had to park outside. Cleanliness: The unit was clean with a pleasing smell. All the laundry provided was also clean including the extra bedding supplies. Condition: Most of the condo was in good repair but there were a few exceptions. The balcony sliding glass door lock was not functional but a rod to place in the track to secure the door was provided. The air conditioner was extremely effective once the prescheduled temperatures were lowered. There is an audible water delivery issue. When any faucet is opened for low to moderate flow a not so quiet howling sound can be heard throughout the apartment. It is more pronounced when hot water is in use. The master shower head is badly in need of replacement. The water pressure to the shower head is severely suppressed and it leaks badly at the collar when attempting to adjust the direction. We ended up only using the shower in the second bathroom for the duration of our stay. The center heating element of the toaster does not work and the half bathroom was missing the spring-loaded toilet paper holder.

Great stay!

This was all around one of the best stays we ever had. The unit was very nice with just a short walk to the beach. Communication with the vacation rental company was so quick to respond. A couple issues came up but were addressed by the property manager and maintenance man who were so nice. The resort workers were all so friendly as well. I recommend this stay and would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing Holiday

Enjoyed the condo, it was lovely and so clean. The amenities of Portifino were a plus! Beautiful views of the beach from the condo. The balcony was like having a front row seat for sunsets, gorgeous! Only thing I frowned on was lack of kitchen necessities like salt / pepper or coffee filters, etc. The shakers are provided but no salt / pepper. I have been in multiple of these condos and others had little items like that. I have a feeling many renters purchase this stuff and leave it like we did on some items but then all gets tossed instead of being left for next round. Maybe it’s due to covid precautions, I dunno but having those little things mean a lot to the ones coming and going. Makes vaca a little easier. Still got five stars from me though, wonderful week!

The pools are great. The pool where the restaurants and bar was crowded. Each condo has its own pool which is usually almost empty of people. A quick walk across the street and you are on the white sandy beach of Pensacola.

Very nice!

We loved it! Property was nice with a lot of amenities! Even though it is a big resort, the pools and beach were not crowded and it was a holiday week! We will definitely be back!

Portofino Resort is fantastic. Beware of booking outside of Portofino properties ie Southern Resort

Great vacation spot ! Recommend booking directly with Portofino due to poor check in process when using other vendor ie Southern Resorts.
