On one side of this quiet road lays your home's private lakefront with fire pit, picnic table, and private dock. One the other side of the road is the home itself, just steps away. Rest assured that the lakefront is all yours when you book this beautiful home— and you'll want to spend every minute outdoors! You can even enjoy the view of the lake from the home's front deck, which comes with an outdoor dining set, grill, and bubbling outdoor hot tub. Ashford By The Lake is a great home for anybody hoping to boat, kayak, or swim on the lake as it is located along a quiet cove of the lake, limiting the amount of boat traffic to disturb your waters! If you want a well-appointed, comfortable home with a fantastic lakefront location, then Ashford By the Lake is surely the one for you!

Escape at Deep Creek

It's always wonderful to vacation with family at Deep Creek Lake. This house and the setting were beautiful! Service from the rental agency was great; prompt replies to my questions. I have to say, the towels were the softest ever from an agency!! And we loved arriving to beds already made up! We loved it!

Beautiful and comfortable home

We loved our stay at Ashford By the Lake. The house had everything we needed and more. The private dock in a quiet cove on the lake was gorgeous!!

The lake front house was very cozy with great amenities and beautiful surrounding scenery. All guests, including myself, were pleased with their stay. The host was also very responsive in answering any questions about the property.

Great location and fabulous house!

We spent almost a week here and it was fantastic. Lori was a great host and super responsive. The dock was easy to get to (stairs or the driveway down from the house itself, then a graded path down to the water), and we also enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. It was a perfect location for a water trampoline, too!

Ideal Deep Creek get-away place

A wonderful place at a quiet area of Deep Creek. We loved the house and the accessibility to the water and the hiking trails at the park. The house was ideal and the kitchen was remarkably well equipped. All bedrooms were large and nicely appointed and we appreciated that each had a bathroom. Communication with Red Barn made everything work smoothly. Overall, a perfect place for a family get together at Deep Creek.

Everything was going well until the house we rented lost water. Other than that is was nice. Forced us to check out a day early.

The location was great, a bit deceiving in photos of the distance between the house and the lake. The house was “clean enough”, however there were two bags of linen that lay on the front deck for our entire stay. The blinds and ceiling fans are covered in dust and the drawers and cupboards in the bathrooms need cleaned out and wiped down, ( there are random towels and washcloths as well as empty soap bottles). The bathroom drawers had hair and other lint in them. The master shower had mold between tiles and along the caulking. Overall we had a great time and I did do some extra cleaning on arrival

This was a last minute get away and we thoroughly enjoyed. House was nicely maintained and dock on the cove was perfect.

Enjoyable family break

We loved our stay at this property - the house has a great layout, beautiful view and a hot tub is always a hit. The shared spaces were great for our two-family group to hang out together and have a separate basement space for the kids to play and watch tv. Everything bc was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Would definitely recommend this house!

Spider webs inside and out The deck was a mess and we cleaned off Crumbs inside sofa and cheerios scattered around floor upstairs and down Spider webs everywhere inside and out Ceiling fans dirty Windows dirty Couch and kitchen chair cushions dirty Exterior Door handles loose and hard to lock Need new toaster, knob missing and doesn’t work properly Exterior trash cans hard to access

Great Family Spot in Deep Creek

Great stay with lots to do in the area - even in between the ski and summer seasons. Lots of space in the house for our family of five and plenty of room to add more. The lake location was great for a nightside fore and dinner by the lake.
