Perfect Holiday stay @ Deep Creek

This home was perfect for our extended family's stay at the lake. Perfectly apportioned. Thoughtful decor. Breath-taking lake views. No...But this and that...this place was great. The hosts were great communicators. I'm not a robot. This place was awesome!

Great location. Lovely home!

The home is spacious and lovely with lots to do - pool table, hot tub, fire pit, multiple grills, and a dock for a boat rental. Furniture was very comfortable, including all the marvelous seating on the upper and lower decks - lovely areas to enjoy the great outdoors with a cup of coffee, a game or two, or a meal. Only two thoughts for improvement: 1) a couple of the mattresses need to be replaced and 2) it would have been useful to have some info on how the TVs work and how to find live TV (PSU v WVU was a must see for one of us). David was quick to respond to any questions and a very gracious host. We would most definitely recommend staying here and enjoying all that Deep Creek has to offer!

Perfect Location!

The house was beautiful and the location was amazing! The kids could jump in the lake from the dock and loved the neighborhood water trampoline! There were kayaks and a stand up paddle board too! The house was the perfect size for 9 people.

Great house in great location on Deep Creek Lake

This was our second stay in this fabulous house. It is very well outfitted with dishes, glasses, utensils, cooking pots and pans, grills and appliances. Plenty of space for 15, all of whom enjoyed it thoroughly. It also has an inviting hot tub, pool table, fire pit and dock space big enough for a pontoon boat. Our host, David, was very responsive and informative. My one non-positive comment would be that several of the mattresses are no longer comfortable.

Perfect getaway

Fantastic lakefront house with all the expected amenities. We spent the weekend with family and friends celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday. Owners were very informative and attentive. Plan to return again.

Family reunion

We had 7 families staying: 4 older couples (we each took a king or queen bed with private bathroom) plus 3 younger families: one with 1 child of 5, one with two children 4 and 6; and one with two children ages 3 and 2. For a group with such young children the 4 bedrooms downstairs—2 with bunk bed arrangements and 2 with queen beds—were a bit tight for each family group, although the downstairs living area has a good couch and room for blow up mattresses if needed—though such options won’t work well for young children. Plus the shared bathroom doesn’t work well unless one family takes both of the attached rooms. The large rooms have extra beds for 1 or 2 children, but given the age structure of our family we couldn’t use them. Otherwise, we loved the layout: the central living room area on all floors (the top floor has a pool table), the large dining area and open kitchen (2 refrigerators and dishwashers), the porch with a wonderful view of the lake, a downstairs porch with hot tub and fire pit, plus easy access to the dock. The bakery and grocery store are within easy walking distance. Overall, we all loved this property and recommend it highly.

Everything about the place was top notch. The access to the water was easy. The grounds are lovely. We had 16 people total. Everyone was comfortable. Plenty of room. We had a wonderful get together with our family. Recommend it highly.

A great house, a great host, our best family vacation

This house could not have been more perfect. Our entire family consisted of 11 people of which two of our grandsons were ages 8 and 9. This house sat right on Deep Creek Lake, and had a perfect view of the lake from the house and balcony. Lots of other lake houses were in the trees and did not have the perfect view we did. We could sit on the balcony and in the back yard and watch our family have fun on the lake. The house had a dock and boat slip which allowed us to rent kayaks, paddleboards, and a pontoon boat. The family found the lake easy to swim in and to go boating. We had a blast. The kitchen was perfect for preparing family meals along with a great set of outside grills for barbecuing. The owner and host of the house were amazing. Whenever I had a question they were quick to get back to me with answers and recommendations. They even made suggestions on the best place to observe the fireworks and restaurants. We were celebrating my wife's 70th birthday during the July 4th week. It was a perfect place to celebrate the birthday with the family. If you are considering renting a house for a family gathering at Deep Creek Lake, be sure to rent this house. It is the best environment for a family gathering, and the owner is absolutely the best person to deal with. He made us feel very comfortable planning this vacation. A great house, a great host and a great vacation.

Great place for groups

We had a wonderful time here- a total of 5 families in the house. The view was great, the house worked out well for our group. There were activities in the house and the kids loved the hot tub. The house is close to Wisp- easy to get to all of the activities on the mountain. This place would be amazing in the summer as well. Our group can’t wait to stay here again.

Great Family Vacation Home

Our group of 4 couples and kids stayed a week in July. We were forced to spend more time inside due to rainy weather. The house was big enough for each group to have their own space but allowed us to bond as a family. The dining table was big enough for everyone (13) to eat dinner at the same time..

Perfect house on lake for large family gathering

Great location. Tucked a way in a quiet cove, but close to everything (Brenda’s, Lakeside Creamery, etc.). Great set up for 4 families with kids.

New Years Stay

The place was wonderful. Myself and 4 other couples rented it for New Years Eve. The place was exactly as advertised. The double oven and double refrigerators were an awesome bonus with so many people. Highly recommend renting this house.

Amazing property

We had an amazing vacation at this wonderful house. Loved the lake views and the gathering places on all three floors (especially the pool table area on the top floor). Bedrooms were spacious and well appointed. Close to ski resort - which was tons of fun. Hope to go back!

Fantastic Property

The house was spectacular and lived up to its description. The family loved hot tub and the kitchen was well stocked with all the key items we needed. Hurricane Henri screwed up the weather for us last week, but that is something no one can control. Overall the family had a great time at Deep Creek Lake at the house and plan to return. Great experience

Great experience for the entire family. The house and property are excellent for a large, 12 person family vacation. The house and property, including the boat slip, are very well maintained and the design of the house makes a large gathering very comfortable. Would definitely rent again.

Family Lake Week

Very comfortable for about 18 people. Lots of extras and great kitchen and dining area. Good beds and baths. Good lake access with dock for swimming; water not too deep off the dock and some stumps in water, On quit cove. This was 2nd week at this house; will come back next year.

Wonderful for winter and summer fun! Wisp ski resort is just minutes away. Our lake front home with private slip is located in a protected no wake area of the lake. Mt. Dew is located lake front off a desirable location of Glendale Road. Our guests always say that the home is away from everything but close to everything!
