Welcome to the “Columbine Cottage” Vacation Rental!

OWNER cleaned and operated - so you will be communicating directly with me, Sarah, before, during (if needed) and after your visit. My mom, dad and I are the "cleaning team." This means the home is meticulously clean and maintained and you are cared for like you are our best friends!

We have lived here our whole lives, so we know about secret hiking trails and the best places to eat in town!

The home is a just around the corner from fantastic downtown coffee shops, restaurants, and minutes from walking paths, hiking trails, and gorgeous mountain views! Centrally located to everything Colorado Springs has to offer! Columbine
Colorado is within walking distance to the Olympic Training Center as well as Memorial Hospital. And it is just 5 minutes from two golf courses; a 5 minute drive to Colorado College and downtown Colorado Springs. Pikes Peak, Cog Railway, Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs are a short 12-15 minute drive. Additionally, you will be only 14 minutes to the Air Force Academy, Peterson Air Force Base and Fort Carson. 19 minutes from the Colorado Springs Airport. 20 minutes to The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

This house had all the amenities we could ever ask for. Goodies and bath robes upon arrival including a detailed list of places to eat, entertainment nearby and grocery store coupons! I couldn’t have been more thrilled with our stay at Columbine Cottage! The property was well kept, the rooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked! This host thought of everything a tenant could need and ensured it was available in the home. The host was always responsive and provided amazing recommendations for locals eats and beautiful hikes. This was a sentimental trip for me and the host made our trip peaceful and seamless! Will definitely stay at this property on a future trip! I’m so grateful for the care and attention from Sarah!

This house was so cute and brimming with natural light, even though sunset seems early this time of year. The kitchen was very well equipped. And we loved the fact that they had some spices in the cabinet! We also loved the teas and espresso each morning. I also really liked all the decor, including the lovely paintings throughout.Thank you for a beautiful, tranquil place to relax and enjoy some down time.

This home provides a very relaxing, inviting, and beautiful environment for a wonderful getaway! We thoroughly loved staying our 4 nights here. The house is close to so many things to do: hiking, Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon Open space, Pikes Peak, great restaurants, and a wonderful coffee shop within walking distance.

This was by far the BEST VRBO we have ever rented. Five star rating on check in, cleanliness, appeal, charm, comfort, location, hospitality. It has everything you will need and then some. I’m picky, and this place passed with flying colors. Stop looking and book it.

This property was exactly as listed! Very comfortable beds and home. Wonderful location to get to all of our desired spots. We loved the downstairs area for games and family hangout time! Stocked so incredibly well- we did not go without. The host is so accommodating and kind and helped us have the best time in Colorado Springs! Great views too! We had the most wonderful stay! The pictures don't do this charming home justice, it has so much character and was decorated very nicely. It was spotless when we arrived and we had fresh cookies waiting for us! Such a nice treat! The hot tub was amazing, the recliners were perfect for cozying up with a book (or for watching football!) and the beds were so comfortable!! We had everything we needed, the kitchen was well equipped, and the location was fantastic for our daily adventures to Royal Gorge, Garden of the Gods, and the Air Force Academy. The hosts were extremely responsive! Really this was one of the best experiences we've had at a rental and we have stayed at a lot of VRBOs. I would absolutely stay here again and would rate it above 5 stars if I could!!

Quite possibly the nicest rental in town. Everything was spectacular. Sarah was so accommodating, and easy to get a hold of. The house was super clean, and had anything we could possibly have needed. We used the hot tub and everything about this rental helped to make it a very peaceful and relaxing weekend. Will be booking again for sure.

Beautifully kept home and yard. The home is an outstanding clean home with immaculate yard. We had 2 children under 3 and the home owners have great amenities for younger kids. High chair, kid utensils, plates, etc., pack n play, mattress with organic sheets, double stroller.The home is in a great location and very nice neighborhood. This is our second stay at this property and would not hesitate to go back again.

Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood! The first place we have ever stayed that has exceeded our expectations & the host is a great resource for everything in the area. This property is perfect……very well and cleverly appointed! Property has lots of special touches, including the owner’s paintings of Colorado landscapes, comfortable beds/bedding and a fully-loaded tv to watch. Family Reunion

It was beyond expectation. Before the trip they provided itinerary recommendations which we enthusiastically followed. They allowed us to check in early after an unexpected travel change. The cottage was extremely comfortable and gave us a great sanctuary to rest; And the neighborhood is quiet. There were no problems at all. We had the best stay at the Columbine Cottage! The place was spotless, cozy, and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. Sara was an amazing host—she gave us fantastic recommendations for hiking, fishing, and local restaurants.The beds were incredibly comfortable—we slept like babies every night after a day exploring the mountains and relaxing in the hot tub. One of my favorite moments was sipping coffee on the front porch, soaking in the peaceful mountain views.We couldn’t have found a better place or a more thoughtful host. We’ll definitely be back!

Best of the best!

Everything was perfect for our family! Not only the house and backyard, but Sarah had a stroller and games for our grandkids! Homemade baked cookies for our arrival. If you are going to be in Colorado Springs then you will be lucky to stay in this fabulous home with such a wonderful host!
