Total waste of money
This was by far the worse trip I have ever been on. For starters the house was not ready at 4pm check-in time infact I did get cleared to enter the house until almost 7pm. And if that was not bad enough the house was double booked so me and my children was scared for our safety because a crowd of upset people was in front of the house being rude and disrespectful and no one from management ever came out to handle the situation. After going in the house after 7pm I did a walk through to check the cleaning because the house was a mess when we first came to check in and upon doing that we found that it was clothes from previous renters in the drawers it was towels in the dryer and towels in the washer that needed to be dryed as well as dishes in the dishwasher it was cups in the pool corkscrew In the living room so upon arriving we had to clean up and bag up clothes as well as do laundry. The people at Orange Vacation homes was completely careless about everything me and my children encountered they even still said that we had to still check out by 10am even though we did not get to go in the property till 3 hours after we paid for. At that point I ask how was they going to accommodate us for house keeping still being in the house till 3 hours after check in and he said he would give the 150.00 pool warming fee back to me but I have yet to receive anything. I rented the home from 4/6/21- 4/11/21 and just when I thought things could not get any worse the pool light stopped working after the company had the guys come out to clean the pool without even letting me no anything about this. So for the last 3 days we was there the pool could not be used at night and the company never even came to check it out. I payed 2,661 and all the company said they would refund was 150.00 and I have not even got that and that was suppose to be issued on 4/6/21. The main reason I decided to rent a vacation home versus go to a hotel was because I take covid 19 very serious and I read on the site that the houses are clear for 24hours in between renters but that was not true at all. Had I known that known of the federal guidelines was being used I most definitely would have never rented this house. I truly feel like this company breached our contract when house keepers was still in the house after check in time not to mention in the contract it states that if im not out of the property by 10:01 am my card will be charged for another day yet nobody has accommodated me.
