The perfect getaway spot!

Unit 728, a newly remodeled (2020), second floor, end unit, on the Delaware/Maryland line, located in Fenwick Island’s East of the Sun complex, featuring 3-bedrooms (and loft), with 2-baths, is a great coastal escape.
The living area opens to a balcony with an automatic awning.  In addition to the balcony, featuring a view of the community's small courtyard canal, the entry level offers a living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen and new stainless steel appliances. The king master bedroom features a view overlooking winding waterways which are throughout the Community. The two additional bedrooms face the bay and share a hallway bathroom. One bedroom has twin beds, the other bedroom has a queen size bed. Accessible by a spiral staircase, the loft offers extra living space, with a futon and small bar height table with 2 chairs.  Sit down and enjoy a view of the bay through the loft window.

The unit has central air conditioning, washer, dryer, WiFi and more. Parking includes one marked space and several unmarked spaces near the unit. SMOKING and PETS are NOT permitted.  You must be AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE AND STAYING IN THE UNIT to receive a contract! The community is well maintained and beautifully landscaped, offering an outdoor pool and tennis courts. Walk to many popular restaurants and family recreation including 2 miniature golf sites, lazer tag, water slide, jet ski rentals, a movie theater and Ocean City’s bus to the boardwalk! It is 1/2 mile to the beach and less than 2 miles to Ocean City’s Northside Park .

The unit is available for rent year round. Change day is SATURDAY during the prime weekly rental period. A minimum of three days may be booked during the shoulder weeks. The unit is located in Delaware. As of January 1, 2025, there is a short term rental tax of 4.5% that will be added to the rental cost, cleaning fee and VRBO Booking fee! Be sure to book your week today, it may be gone tomorrow!

    Relaxing Long Weekend

    Our family had a wonderful stay at Myrna's condo! Clean and comfortable for a family of 7. After a little hitch with the code, Myrna, who was easy to reach, helped us out! The balcony out back overlooked a beautiful tree and canal with fountain - so relaxing to sit outside. I thought being right on the highway would be a deterrent, but I loved the location - very convenient - even being able to walk to Harpoon Hanna's was a plus. Parking was also very accessible, especially for our other vehicles. The weather was a bit cool and rainy, but just being at the beach with all of us able to hang out in the same space was awesome! Wouldn't hesitate to book again!

    Ocean City / Delaware Getaway

    We had the best time staying at this location. It was very convenient to shops and restaurants, and near by beaches. The unit was beautiful and very spacious. The communication with the host was also very wonderful. If we would ever find ourselves back in Delaware we would be sure to stay again!

    Great Family Vacation

    The condo was the perfect size, nicely stocked and wonderfully located. We had a great time relaxing & enjoying ourselves at the Abbott's 'East of the Sun,' condo. Whether traveling to the beach, hanging out at the pool, meeting friends, going out to eat or shopping... felt like we were just minutes away.

    Beautiful place, great family vacation!

    A wonderful place! Clean, comfortable and safe. My family and I stayed for a week and we loved it. The condo is as pictured and they have a wonderful pool that all ages can enjoy. It is close to the beach and activities. We enjoyed walking the neighborhoods and seeing the homes near the water. We hope to visit again soon!

    Great spot, ample room, and so clean!

    The location was amazing. Right across from the bay area and close to everything. While it was on a busy road, I didn't hear a lot of commotion from the road. The townhouse was spacious and very clean. Furniture was comfortable and 4 adults had enough space to stretch out and not feel on top of each other. Communication was great with the owner. If we return to the area, I would not hesitate to book again!

    We stayed with our family and grandchildren. The house was beautiful very clean and stocked. The location was perfect and the price reasonable.     Fantastic, Fabulous, Fenwick at East of Sun.

    This property is in a fantastic location. It provides a quiet location with easy access to all other areas at shore . The pool is clean and We always got chairs. The place is perfect. It was stocked great for us. Harpoon Hanna’s and an area to rent water sports equipment is right across the street. The owner was available and very kind. We enjoyed every minute. Claire

    Beautiful condo and great week at the beach!

    The landlord was wonderful to work with and always prompt with responses. I highly recommend working with her. The condo was beautiful and spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped and had a full size fridge and freezer. We had 4 adults and 3 children all week and had plenty of space. The pool was great and close to walk to. My kids loved it! We walked to the beach using the road behind the condo since there is a sidewalk the whole way. You do have to go up one block when you get near the beach to get to a crosswalk. It is a ½ mile walk so we used a beach wagon to haul all of our stuff. There is free parking along the street and about 30 free spots close to the beach to park on the Maryland side of the beach access located off the street behind the condo. The other side with beach access is Delaware and you have to pay to park. The 2 rooms that aren't the master bedroom do have a lot of road noise. It didn't bother us or my kids much except when the occasional person played loud music at a the stop light late at night. There was just one evening when there was a lot of loud drivers late at night. Otherwise it was fine. Just something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper.

    Great Family Vacation

    If you want to escape reality this is the place to go. Beautiful condo with beautiful views. My family loved looking out into the bay going to the beach and coming back to the pool. Everything was exactly as described. Myrna was such a pleasure to deal with and kept you informed throughout the whole process….would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

    Fun vacation in Fenwick Island

    Lovely unit in nice complex. Unit comfortable for 4 adults and 2 kids. Pool great. Close to arcades, mini golf, water park and amusement parks. Near to pretty beach. Easy to communicate with owner. Highly recommend.

    Very nice property in a great location

    Despite the weather being crappy, we throughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean and well equiped with everything we needed. The unit is located within walking distance to the beach and is close proximatey to restaraunts in Ocean City, MD and great outlet shopping in Rehoboth beach. Myrna was was a great host and made communication easy. We look forward to reserving the unit next year.
