Bruck Haus is the perfect spot on Anchor Bay to enjoy good times with family and friends! We boast beautiful sunrises and a great location for swimming, fishing, boating, and watersports activities.

4 Bedrooms each with a new Queen size bed and overhead fans

Large kitchen with seating for everyone and great room with excellent view of the lake

Large lot for family fun as well as a patio with a dining table, seating area, and propane grill

Parking area that can easily accommodate 6 vehicles or 2 trucks with boats on trailers

New for 2022! Dock just put in November 2021 with pilings for short term boat docking and easy water access. We do not recommend keeping your boat in overnight due to potential inclement weather.

Bike path to Brandenburg Park that has a kids splash park, picnic area & pier. Close to Walter and Mary Burke Park with a beach, kids play area, and right across from Webber Paddle Park which is a perfect kayak launching site

Stayed here for a high school fishing tournament on Lake St. Clair. Plenty of room for parking with a boat and was very comfortable w an amazing view.

Fishing Trip

Perfect!! Clean, beautiful yard and view, quiet street and near everything you need. We had 4 fishermen in our group and 2 boats. Our host was readily available if we had any questions. Perfect place.

Best host EVER!

Have stayed in a lot of VRBO's and have had a couple of my own and I can tell you this host has it down! Very accommodating, easy to get along with and quick to respond to any communication. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome lakeside spot

We were in town for a fishing tournament. This place was perfect for our group. Everything was as described and any questions we had were answered immediately. Everything was nice and clean and we had everything we needed. Great option.

Girls weekend

Life long friends. One of the girls had to move to Michigan for her job, 3 years ago. We stayed last year in September just to visit our friend. This year was a last hurrah as she is moving back home in 5 days. We loved the lake house so much we came back to stay here again. Beautiful property!

Great stay!

Our family of 6 loved our stay! The neighborhood and lake were very quiet. The patio was great to enjoy morning coffee and play some evening games on. My kids also enjoyed playing in the backyard and swimming off the dock. The home is located close driving distance to restaurants and stores, as well as public beaches. I appreciated the comfortable beds and quality linens, making it feel like home!

Perfect for bass fishing getaway

This property had everything my husband & I needed & was so convenient to boat ramps & stores! Very clean & well stocked, loved the back patio with incredible view of Anchor Bay! Beds were comfortable & had no problem parking with a bass boat. Host was quick to communicate & fix a problem we had with the A/C & we hope to visit again next year!

Jennifer is a great host and was easy to contact when we had questions. Had a wonderful stay at this lake front house. It had most items needed. It was clean and nicely located. The bedrooms could use suitcase stands and a small dresser so we could unpack have somewhere to put our clothes. Also, bedside lamps would be nice. Thanks again, We will be back.

Wonderful vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. Home was clean and comfortable (great beds!) and the yard was great to gather with our family. My kids had a great time fishing and swimming off the dock as well as dropping in our kayaks.

Fishing trip

If you’re coming to Lake St Clair and don’t book this property you’re missing out. Quiet neighborhood and convenient to multiple boat ramps and grocery stores. A nearby Bass Pro Shop in case you forgot something as well. Our group will not stay anywhere else! Thanks for taking care of us Jennifer!

Lovely Location on the water

Hard to beat this location. It’s such a nice relaxing place to enjoy the view of the water. We hardly ever turned on the TV. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Affordable, Comfortable, Spacious

This house was perfect for 6 adults and a toddler. We had no issues with any part of it. The house was stocked with supplies forgotten and the view of Lake St. Clair was the cherry on top! Jennifer answered my questions and was a great host. We will consider staying there in the future while on the east side.

Beautiful location

We stayed for a long weekend and the house and property could not have been more perfect! The lake was gorgeous. We enjoyed a bonfire, grilled out, and enjoyed the peacefullness of the lake. The house was well stocked and beds super comfortable. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Family memories

The location is very convenient to a variety of activities and has a wonderful amout of space inside and out. All of the bedrooms have very comfortable beds and nice furnishings. The kitchen has a variety of items for cooking and baking. The view of the patio, backyard and the lake are amazing from the livingroom windows. Watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Enjoy relaxing on the patio, using the grill, playing some corn hole and having camp fires. This location has a nice mixture of things to keep you busy while giving you pleny of options to relax and rest. The hosts are really good to work with, respond to questions in a timely manner, and are available throughout your stay if needed. This is our second time staying at this location where we made a lot of wonderful family memories. We are looking forward to planning our next stay.

My name is Jennifer (Bruck) Wilson. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Chris, for 25 years. We have 3 amazing kids and enjoy boating, golfing, and attending their sporting events. The purchase of this lakefront home is our dream come true, and we are excited to share it with others who will appreciate its appeal.

This property has been in our family since 1928!
"Bruck" Family Cottage 1928-1964 was originally owned by my Great Uncles - Charles and Anthony Robin. My father and his 5 siblings spent many a summer here, where I am told (among many other stories) my Grandma Bruck caught a ton of fish and my dad as the youngest child got into lots of trouble!
Unfortunately, in 1964 a tornado devastated this house and the area around it. So, the current structure was then constructed with collaboration of my father and his brothers and sisters who jointly owned the property as the "Cottage Club Members". For years to come we would visit all together every Sunday in the summers and cherish our family's "special week" where we could invite other family and friends. This lasted until 2005, when the cottage was sold to my cousins on my mom's side - Loretta and her husband Paul. We were so happy it was still in the family.
Paul and Loretta did an amazing job of crafting this cottage into the beautiful home it is today. Now, they have made my dream come true by offering Chris and I the opportunity to buy it back into the "Bruck"/Wilson family to enjoy for what I hope to be many years to come!! We are overwhelmed with excitement!
