Great stay and peaceful getaway!

Perfect location and beautiful scenery, nice cozy escape. Cabin was clean and well decorated, WiFi worked great. Really enjoyed the food and area nearby. Great retreat for bird watching and the people are friendly!

Awesome Experience

We had a great time staying here. Neighborhood was quiet and secluded. If you want a nice quiet getaway but still within reasonable distance from everything, stay here.

Labor day weekend

My family of 5 stayed at this lovely VRBO over the labor day weekend. I loved the amount of space on the property outside, the shade from the trees in the front porch, and the comfy outdoor chairs. My bf and I spent every night out there gazing at the milky way and the stars while drinking wine. The beds were comfy and even with 3 beds in one space, we had plenty of room and space (anyone with kids knows how it gets with kids lol) so that wasn't an issue. The couch in front of the TV was comfy and allowed for family time after being out all day swimming. We also really liked having the grill outside to cook with. They also have several of their decorative antique items for sale inside of the VRBO. I thought that was pretty cool. But if you have little ones make sure to keep an eye on them so they don't mess with these items. The hosts were attentive and very easy going. We will definitely come back and recommend any of our friends and family to stay here if they are ever in that area.

Great place!

This is a great spot! Super clean and comfy and perfect for a weekend getaway. The owners were great, communication was good and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend and will stay there again!

Lovely stay!

When we booked this last minute trip our teen was not excited. He thought we were going to stay in a tiny barn. When we arrived he was very surprised on how spacious and clean it was. This is a beautiful place. The beds were comfortable and it was so roomy. We had a great stay.

t Nights in the Hill Country at the Little Red Barn

My family wanted to explore the Hill Country and Little Red Barn was a perfect place for us, nice clean and well stocked with water and coffee. The kids enjoyed the cozy beds, furniture's, TV and the Cowboy theme was just perfect. We arrived late at around 9:00 PM to an enchanting country welcome, thanks to the musical cacophony from the cicadas band. I checked online for food and it seemed that the "The 4 Way Bar & Grill" was open till 2:00 AM, but when I reached there to place the order at 10:05 PM, I was informed that the kitchen closed at 10:00 PM, realization dawned that I am in the hill country and not Austin city. But that took me to "Medina Lake Country Club Bar and Grill", a small jolly smoky Karaoke joint where the friendly locals gather to have beer and sing songs..I got some finger food, fries and fish strips for the family and got a taste of the country as well as the friendly local folks there..We spent 2 nights at the Red Barn and got to explore the Medina and Bandera areas, had food at the OST walked along the Medina River and finished it all with a Horse ride at "Bandera Historical Rides"..We are so happy with our stay at the Little Red Barn, got to experience the country side lifestyle, we will surely be back. Thanks to the team!

Lovely Little Barn

Very charming property! It was exactly what I hoped for. Great place to relax and unwind and enjoy family time. The dining room table was more than big enough for meals and for board games. The cocktail table was a fun place to play cards. We appreciated the choices for outdoor cooking, and the owners generously provided the necessary grilling items. If you plan on grilling, be sure to prepare your meals ahead of time as the only sink present is in the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay, and my 5 year old was sad to leave.

Cozy and Clean Cabin in the Country

Totally enjoyed our stay! This clean, neat and inviting cabin was just outside of Bandera where we enjoyed shopping, restaurants and dude ranch activities. Thank you for being so accommodating.
