Spacious Family Getaway with Pontoon

Please note, during the summer months we are accepting only reservations Sunday to Sunday. Beginning September and through the month of May we welcome anyone staying a minimum of 3 nights. Come enjoy our spacious, charming lodge on serene Lake Nancy! This 5300 sqft cabin has 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms ideal for family reunions, couples' getaways, and fishing trips. Neighboring city of Hayward hosts the Lumberjack World Championships and American Birkebeiner; Spooner hosts a rodeo and the Washburn County fair. Nearby cities, fishing hall of fame, aquatic center, casino, golf courses, and trails for skiing, mountain biking, ATVs, and snowmobiles make this the perfect place for anyone to enjoy a week-long getaway.

-Kayaks and pedal boat included to explore the 757-acre lake(children under 10 must bring their own appropriately fitted lifejacket)
-Nearby boat launch and space to park your boat at our private L-shaped aluminum dock
-Owners Pontoon/22 foot Quest, 90 hp, 11 person, available additional weekly rental (inquire at time of booking)
-Rustic finishes like log beds and woodland decor in the comfort of central air
-Multi-level composite deck with patio furniture for lounging in the sun or grilling dinner

Great house for a large family. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Being right on the water, having access to the pontoon boat, a small sandy area for the kids makes this a great spot.

A very comfortable, clean and spacious property. This was our third family visit. We love the facility and the lake. There is plenty of room for family gatherings or privacy. I particularly enjoyed sunrise views of the lake from the decking. We had 13 of us this year and made use of the pontoon, nearby hiking trails, the Minong athletic club and other activities. A nice relaxing week!

Family time at Legends Lodge

A spacious, family friendly vacation home. There is plenty of room to enjoy activities, both in and outdoor. We enjoyed pontoon rides, playing at the beach and sandbar, shuffleboard, fishing, board and card games, watching the littles play, and quiet time reading a book. Looking forward to next year!

Well stocked huge executive home(s). All the extras from cooking, furnishing, games to toys. Nothing missing from our stay. Great communication with host. Only wish is that we would prefer not to see a camera when renting.

Outstanding family vacation experience

Family vacation

MEA weekend getaway

Legends Lodge was a beautiful, clean, spacious cabin! It was a perfect place to celebrate a long, fall weekend with friends. The property was equipped with all of the appliances and tools we needed to prepare large meals and to serve all of our guests.

This well-maintained property is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully offered everything we needed. Our family of nine adults and six children enjoyed swimming (including jumping off the dock), fishing, pontoon rides, s'mores around the fire pit, lawn games, kayaking, and stargazing during the meteor shower. The kids had their own wing of the house which was enjoyed by both kids and adults. The owners are very responsive.

A slice of heaven!

10 of us had a fantastic time staying here. Very clean and comfortable with some many spaces inside and out to experience. We took the pontoon out a couple of times and really enjoyed it. We are planning on coming back next year!

Family Vacation

Legends Lodge was beautiful and very clean. Kristine was great to work with and very responsive. The way the house is set up is great for multiple families and the deck and gazebo are perfect hang out spots! We enjoyed our stay and hope to return!!

Family getaway

We were very comfortable at this property. Kids had a great time with kayaks on the waterfront. Shuffleboard was a fun alternative game for all. The 2 kitchen's were a plus for out family.

Including the entire family in our weekend getaways to the lake is important to us. Each member enjoys something different from hiking to fishing and even learning how to play shuffleboard. We hope that you will enjoy a stay at our place as much as we do.
