Tucked into a quiet, wooded bay with 234 feet of lake frontage, this lakefront retreat features a private sandy swim beach, calm waters, and plenty of space to relax, play, and reconnect.

This 4-bedroom + loft cabin (plus a fun kids’ hideout) offers an open-concept layout with vaulted ceilings, expansive lake-view windows, and two spacious living areas—perfect for families to spread out. The fully stocked kitchen, dining space, and 2 full bathrooms with fresh linens make your stay easy and comfortable from the moment you arrive.

Step outside and experience what makes Blue Chair Bay unforgettable. Spend your days swimming off the sandy beach, floating in the bay, canoeing, kayaking, or fishing right from shore. Evenings are all about lakefront bonfires (firewood provided), string lights glowing through the trees, and watching the sunset over the water.

Fir even more lake fun, a pontoon is available to rent during your stay-perfect for cruising the Minong Flowage, sunset cruises, fishing, trip to Sand Island or just relaxing on the water with family and friends.

Wonderful place with plenty of space. True up north experience with great views. Accommodations were clean, odor free. Comfortable beds and a loft for the kids is fun. Plenty of Bar restaurants close if you're wanting to get out. Highly recommend.

Relaxing Family Vaca

Loved our stay at Blue Chair! Beautiful property with everything we needed to make it a fun week. Cabin is nicely furnished with plenty of space. Beach is amazing, we enjoyed the water and campfire every evening. So nice to be able to bring our dogs along for the fun. We would stay here again no question.

Great for families!

Our group had two families with five children ages 18 months to 7 years. We were delighted by the amenities for kids (like trundle beds for kids to sleep near parents, a high chair, toys, etc). We also loved that there were two living spaces so that everyone could spread out. We hope to come back again!

Minong Cabin Stay

This space was everything promised! We had a grand time among the peak fall foliage, enjoying the fire pit and all the great outdoor space. Took the kayaks out to Sand Island and kids had a blast exploring. We would definitely look to return for another stay!

Another Fun and Relaxing Stay

This was my and my pups’ 4th annual and my friend’s 3rd annual stay at Blue Chair Bay. There is a reason why it’s an annual trip. Wonderful home, amazing property, and fun amenities. While you can “stay connected” here if needed, it is really easy to disconnect, relax and recharge. Thank you, again, for sharing your slice of heaven!
