Best Beach in CT!
Thank you for the lovely vacation!
Some highlights:
- Luxurious outdoor shower - my youngest said it was “exceptional: useful and comfortable”
- Spotlessly clean and beautifully organized
- Comfortable beds and pretty linens on full sized beds in all three bedrooms
- Best beach I’ve been to in Connecticut: sandy sandy sandy with minimal rocks (we brought water shoes but didn’t need them), lovely huge sandbars make it fun to wade and swim out far, and explore far along the shore, friendly low surf, ospreys fishing, schools of fish swimming and jumping, whelks, periwinkles, hermit crabs
- Thoughtful supplies, including soap, dish detergent, first aid kit, more
- Easy & fast communication with owner
- Pretty yard with sun shining through trees
- There was an air conditioner but with cool sea breezes we didn’t need it (we were there in the last two weeks of August with more than a few days above 80 F)
- Best collection of books I’ve seen at a cottage!
- My son said the tv room upstairs was awesome
- Short drives to Scott’s Farm Stand for great corn and tomatoes, Westbrook Cinema, outlets, more
- Short walk to DQ and Lenny & Joe’s seafood
- Beach supplies (camp chairs, beach towels)
- Very short walk to the beach!
