Disappointing
The location of this property was not good. The house next door was boarded up and appeared to be abandoned. The view from the front porch was a cemetery. The backside of the house was a view of the boarded-up house and a fuel tank. The view on the side of the house was trees.Inside the house, we were met by an incredible stench of cigarette smoke. There was trash in the kitchen trash can. The rug in the living room was old, worn, and stained. The commodes did not flush well and needed to be plunged almost every time they were used. The bed linens smelled sour like they had been left in the washer for days. All of the linen was worn and thin and needs to be replaced. The towels in the bathroom were old and worn; some had bleach stains as if used for cleaning. Speaking of cleanliness, we lost count of the number of stinkbugs, crickets, and ants we killed. The house needs to be exterminated. We reached under the couch to find something that was dropped and were appalled at the filth under there. Other areas of the home have not been cleaned properly. There was no soap in the master bath, and no trash bags for the kitchen can. We had to go to Walmart to purchase these things. Very, very unhappy with our stay. We DO NOT recommend this place for anyone to stay. We surely will not return!
