Small cabin, in a quite neighborhood surrounded by woods and plenty of fresh air. There is a large open yard with a fire pit and plenty of room for pets and people to enjoy the outdoors. Close to the Blueridge Parkway and great hiking including Wisemans View. Only minutes from the Linville Falls winery and other great local shops and restaurants. Close to all local attractions including rafting, tubing, and biking for the summer months. As well as great skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing for the winter time.

We loved the cottage and really appreciated how dog friendly the hosts are. We had a quick post Thanksgiving getaway and loved spending time with our son at App State. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone traveling with their 4 legged family members.

What a cozy cabin for a small family trip! Near hiking and a winery. The kitchen was nice as the dining options are limited in that area.

Very pleasant stay and worked out great for us as we explored the areas around Linville Falls. Did want to mention that the kitchen light was burned out, but that was just a minor thing.

This was a great cozy cabin in the woods! We used the fire pit at night and the kitchen for a couple meals. We didn't get to see the local bear but the place was great. The road leading to the house is tight so I wouldn't recommend bringing a big trailer but our sprinter made it no problem and a short trailer wouldn't be a problem either.When we were leaving we met the host and she was very nice too. We would gladly come back.

A very nice property that has everything you need. Very close to Linville Falls and Linville Gorge. Be sure to watch for Sniffles the bear

Great Experience

A very nice cabin with room outside for our dog to walk around. Everything was just as advertised. A clean and comfortable cabin.

Great Dog Friendly Place!

We had a great short trip here. Bear Crossing had a lovely setup and even had specific dog care items; it’s always great to be able to give your dogs an adventure too, thank you!

The house was pet friendly. It was def. in the woods. I wouldn't have stayed if my husband wasn't with me. Bathroom was small no towel rack over all ok.

Great Location!

This cabin is in a great location and has everything you need. We didn’t bring our dog, but this cabin is super pet friendly. The cabin was very clean, and the checkin/checkout process was super straight forward. I recommend this place for a great stay!
