Hello and thanks for looking at our newly renovated property. We are in a nice and quiet area of Newland, NC. It’s off the beaten path just outside of Linville, yet still convenient to exciting Boone, Banner Elk, & Sugar Mountain. We are 2 minutes from Linville Falls Winery and 4 minutes away from The Blue Ridge Parkway access at mile post 316 Linville River Community. Drive through the country while taking in the splendor of rolling hills and grazing Highland Cattle. You will be taken back into a simpler time. Shop the Old Linville River Mercantile. Spend the day cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway. Wiseman’s view is just around the corner and should be your first stop.
The cottage is just a few steps away from the Linville River. Enjoy the views of the River under the Community Gazebo conveniently adored with multiple rocking chairs.

The unit sleeps 4: Queen bed downstairs and a Queen on the loft. The loft is accessible by a ladder. Guest must be able to safely climb a ladder to sleep in the loft area.
Wireless internet access included.
A fully equipped kitchen includes, standard drip coffee maker, Nespresso machine, silverware, glasses, pots, and pans and all the necessities for preparing meals.
There is a washer and dryer also in the unit so that when you return home from vacation you don't have to spend all day washing clothes.
There are 2 picnic tables, outdoor grill

This is the perfect cottage. We have brought our dog here twice and it is so accommodating. It has everything we need and an easy drive to the places we like to visit. So quiet and lovely.

Great time in a great cottage. Enjoyed the comfortable accommodations, quiet neighborhood, and proximity to all things Linville has to offer. Mornings and evenings on the back porch were lovely! Nick and Stacey were quick to respond and made check-in/out very easy. Would definitely stay again!

Cozy mountain cottage

I rent one of these cottages annually for a family reunion and vacation. The full kitchen is great for preparing foods, but I usually bring specific items to make sure i have everything i need. Its very comfortable and a good location for me.

Comfy cozy

Beautiful, cozy cabin. The property was better than the pictures, and though the cabin was small everything was set up in a way that felt spacious. Property owners were quick to answer questions and all expectations were clearly communicated. Great stay, we hope to stay again, and we highly recommend to anyone looking!

Charming and Very Clean and Comfortable

This is a very charming cottage. It is better than the pictures. It was very clean, and everything worked as it should. The decor is very nice and tasteful. The wood fireplace was so romantic to sit in front of with my wife. Electric sofa was great. The bed was very comfortable. We just loved it there. THANK YOU!!!!

Lovely cottage in the mountains!

We had a wonderful stay here! We were visiting the area for the first time and had a blast attending the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games which were very close by and taking a day trip to Asheville (about an hour away)! The cottage was lovely and the amenities were great. Thanks so much for having us! We would love to come back!

Hello, we are Nick and Stacey Martin. We are from Mebane, North Carolina.
Nick works as a Firefighter & Emergency Management and Stacey works in the Biomedical field. We have two dogs that are very much treated like our kids. We are thrilled to offer our cottage for others to enjoy. We hope that you will stay at our place.

Owning a place in the mountains has been a dream of ours since we purchased our first vacation home at the beach in 2018. When we met, we had a vision of having multiple places for us to visit in our free time while also being able to offer for others to rent and enjoy as well. We were finally blessed to be able to turn yet another dream into reality in March of 2022 when we purchased this little piece of paradise. We looked at several locations, but this unit was the one that stood out to us. It is such a quiet community that is also very close to everything you need to have an amazing vacation. Now we want to share it with you so that your friends and family may enjoy it as much as we do.

We hope that our place will make you feel like you're at home and not at a standard hotel. Another perk about our place is that we are in a quiet, less crowded part of the Blue Ridge Mountains, near Banner Elk and Boone. We are 10 minutes from Banner Elk and 25 from Boone. We regularly check on our cottage, doing deep cleaning and constant maintenance.
