Okemo Mountain, Family Affordable 2 fl village walk to town, Dogs OK. We recycle

Linens not provided!! Located in the village of Ludlow, Vermont on the Black river within 20 miles of 5 major ski area’s.Walking distance to dining , shops, & entertainment on main street. 2 minute drive to Okemo ski area or a short walk to the free shuttle bus ( weekends & holidays winter only ) Cross country skiing , close to state park /beach/ golf. Must be 21 or older to rent and a 2 car parking limit , no winter parking on street you will be towed !!!!.
This second floor apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, full kitchen, washer & dryer. The living room has a gas fireplace, new sleeper sofa, love seat, 2 rockers, 50” tv, cable and wifi that will handle work on line. Bedroom #1 has two sets of twin bunks (4 people), bedroom #2 has 1 set of custom made double bed bunks (4people). I don’t provide linens. You will need to bring 4 sets of twin sheets , 2 sets of full , and 1 set for queen sleeper sofa bed. Dogs are welcome crated when left alone !!!!!!!
Don't forget how great summer is in VT with golf at Fox Run and Tater Hill, or Hiking up Okemo and biking on its trails with its great “Adventure park! “
If you prefer a quieter time you could read a book at the state park beach , fish or rent a boat and paddle around to enjoy the clean waters of VT. Use Jackson Gore fitness center with indoor outdoor pool for a small fee . Also enjoying the free summer out door concerts sitting around the fire pit in the court yard. Day trips to Mt. Washington and Manchester, Vt. outlet stores. Or you could take a rest and enjoy cooking out in the back yard on the grill, with table and chairs by the Black river.
Check in is @ 5 pm, check out @ 2 pm . The door will be unlocked and the key on the kitchen table . When leaving. Place dirty dishes in dishwasher. Take a walk-through to see if you have left anything behind. Place recyclables on front porch in appropriately labeled cans. When leaving place the key on the kitchen table and lock the door behind you .

Leaf Peeping Vac

We enjoyed staying upstairs and all the room that the apartment has. We remembered to bring our own sheets & towels and everything else we needed was in the apartment. Robert is very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable Stay

We had a nice stay here. This property is reasonably priced, and on a nice quiet street. Walking distance to gas stations, Dunkin, and just down the street from Shaw’s. We appreciated how dog-friendly it was, the amazing (seriously, crazy) water pressure in the showers, and the multiple AC units to beat the heat. A few minor complaints- the living room tv remote would only work about half the time, even after putting in new batteries. The main bedroom tv did not work at all. Lastly, the couch and loveseat could use an upgrade. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone coming to the area looking for a no-frills but homey place.

Affordable stay in Ludlow

The property is as advertised -- an affordable place to stay in downtown Ludlow with no frills. Robert was responsive on email. We appreciated that the apartment was pet friendly. Our dog enjoyed Vermont as well. The apartment is basic-- bunk beds in both bedrooms with no linens provided. The dryer was not working properly during our stay. Robert immediately acknowledged the problem and indicated he was ordering parts. We love Ludlow and Vermont. This was an economical way to make this vacation happen.

Older large home with 6 rental units. Our unit had only bunk style beds in 2 adjacent bedrooms. Living room funiture is dated and not very comfortable. Small kitchen but workable. Dishwasher was not working. Left a couple items, have not been contacted

Awesome Stay and Experience

This was my first experience renting through a Vrbo so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Bob, who is the owner was incredible. He was attentive to our needs. We just relocated to the area from Northern California and needed a place to stay (very last minute) while waiting for escrow to close. We told Bob our story and he was so incredibly helpful. We rented for 7 days and because we were waiting for escrow to close we weren’t sure if we needed to stay an additional day or two. Escrow closed in time but we needed to first clean the home and we asked Bob if we could stay a little longer and because the unit was available he granted us to stay an extra day free of charge! We will be eternally grateful to Bob for his kindness and generosity. Really awesome place and location. Close to many activities in the area.

Vermont Wedding Weekend

4 of us stayed at this wonderful house for a wedding in the Weston, VT area. Parking was extremely convenient and location to downtown Ludlow was perfect. The wedding party was staying at the Main + Mountain Inn downtown which was an easy walk to meet up with them throughout the weekend. I would definitely recommend staying here and would highly consider staying here in the near future.

Lovely property, lovely yard, lovely owners

Property was great. Bob and David were just the absolute nicest. Beautiful yard, comfortable spots. I’d say if you’re packing in people for a group ski house or big family event it is perfect. However, the small bunk beds for adults or tall kiddos are very low and easy to bash your head on. Kitchen is equipped which was really really convenient. Great stay!

Great stay!

Great home base for exploring the area. Comfortable/cozy feel to the place. Easy walk to restaurants and coffee shop. Coffee shop is shared with a realty office, but has it's own area. Good coffee there. 10 minute walk to the grocery store too. A good hike is Okemo Mtn from Healdville trailhead. There's an old fire tower at the top you can go up in.
