With a prime location in the heart of downtown Ludlow, mere minutes from the base of Okemo Mountain Resort, this inviting, light-filled condo makes a wonderful home base for summer and winter adventures alike. You'll have every essential for your at-home comfort, an electric fireplace to keep you cozy all winter, and free WiFi and a Smart TV for your nightly entertainment. You'll be able to easily stroll to a stop for the mountain shuttle right across the street and to an assortment of eateries downtown, with a well-appointed kitchenette - offering a refrigerator, a hot plate, and a microwave, among other essentials - waiting at home to store and reheat your delicious leftovers. After a day spent skiing, golfing, or paddleboarding out on the waters of Echo Lake or Lake Rescue, you can watch a favorite movie or show, play board games in the living room, and get a wonderful night's sleep in the queen bedroom or on the queen-size sofabed.

This condo is located in downtown Ludlow, a small, charming, historic town known as both a winter wonderland and a hub of outdoor activity in all four seasons. Head across the street, hop on board the shuttle, and spend the day at Okemo Mountain Resort (three-quarters of a mile west) with its 121 trails, 20 lifts, 632 skiable acres of terrain, and 2,200-foot vertical drop - the highest in all of Southern Vermont. Come summer, you'll find the Okemo Valley Golf Club one mile north, with the serene shores of Lake Rescue (four miles north) and Echo Lake (six miles north) just a short drive beyond. Within walking distance are a number of popular gear shops and eateries, including Killarney, The Cookster, and Goodman's American Pie.

Cozy Escape

This condo really fit our needs and made for an enjoyable stay. The bedroom mattress was very comfortable. Enjoyed the fireplace and the little kitchen. It would be nice to have a little table on which to eat. The cleanliness of the condo was much appreciated. For those of us with bad knees the stairs are a bit difficult. Thank you for a great experience.

Nice stay but wifi went out during football playoffs!

Nice stay but the wifi went out for good on Sat night during the football playoff game, which my son and I were watching. Any chance for a partial refund?

Horrible Experience! Property Entrance Unsafe in Winter.

The steps and sloping walkway leading to the entrance were covered with several inches of ice and there was no railing to hold onto to help with safety. The path was less than 2 feet wide. At checkin time there was an additional 3+ inches of snow on top of the thick ice making it more dangerous. Property manager was unhelpful solving the problem in a timely fashion and would not provide refund or other accomodations.

This modest property was super clean and convenient to Okemo ski resort. Access was simple as the door codes were emailed. I do wish there was an interior deadbolt/chain-lock for security in addition to just the exterior access combo.This whole unit was freshly painted. The all purpose room was spacious. The kitchen corner was modestly equipped but offered the necessities. The couch was comfortable and the TV was average. The bathroom was spacious but had a dated floor and shower. The bathroom vanity was newly installed. The bedroom was clean, spacious and furnished by Ikea. The bedroom had a TV. The parking area should have the lines refreshed. This is not a preference but would help organize the parking for 9 units. Overall this unit offered a nice value for the money. The only issue was the location on the main road. The main road was noisy but that ended 11pm ish. Getting on and off the main road was stressful as the traffic was unrelenting during the day. I would stay again and suggest this property as a value. I would leave for the mountain early and walk into town to minimize the driving issues. I normally stay up later on vaca so the road was not really and issue for me.

Cute cottage but property mgmt needs work

We arrived to the cottage and there were no towels, wash cloths, hand towels. Also the bed sheets were covered in hair. Probably pet hair but we did not bring any. Notified prop mgmt immediately; they said I would receive a response on fixing the issues. Over 3 hours later I hadn’t received an update so I contacted via email/ text. We live 11+ hours away and just wanted to shower and rest but that wasn’t possible. No showers and we slept on top of the bed cover with the blanket we brought. We finally received clean towels the next morning around 10am as we were headed out for the day. Luckily the lady had an extra set of sheets in her car. The property listing said that there was a shuttle to Okemo “across the street.” The apt is on a busy road so there is nothing across the street. I asked 3 or 4 people with vacasa and not one could give me an exact location or time. One lady said to just stand outside and wait for them. Having easy access to a shuttle was one of the reasons we chose this rental. Since it is located on a main road you can clearly hear the cars so don’t expect to sleep in last 7am. The cottage itself was very cute and close to shops/restaurants.

Perfect little place close to the mountain

Loved this little place. Great for a couple looking for a close stay to the mountain. Easy check-in and check-out. Plenty of parking and space in the apartment. Not suited to cook whole meals, but perfect for making breakfast and snacks. We will definitely be back

Your employees deserve a raise!

Amazing stay at this adorable home! Very close to the mountain and right in town close to restaurants and stores. Vacasa did such a wonderful job, they should give all their customer service employees a huge raise, they deserve it!

Ski Trip

Great proximity to the slopes. Room had everything needed for a no-frills ski vacation. Plenty of room for two adults and two kids. Only in accuracy in the listing was they said there was a keurig, which we did not have.

Loved the location close to the ski slopes. The electric fireplace made everything cozy. Bedroom and bath were spacious. The kitchen had everything I needed- toaster oven, big fridge, hotplate. The blue wine glasses and the moose coffee mugs were in use every day.

We loved the cute charm of the apartment. Perfect for a couple or maybe 2. The place was easy to get to and clean. Right down the road from okemo. The only thing I recommend is to get a mattress topper for the bed. It was pretty firm. Other than that we had a great time.

Pleasantly Surprised

I didn’t expect much and was very happy to see how cute and clean the place was with all new appliances. They had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the proximity to the mountain and downtown was perfect. Thank you for a great stay and we will be back next ski season.
