Escape to The Haven Haus—your modern retreat with hot tub, firepit, and space for 12, just 3 blocks from South Beach! Enjoy a dream vacation in this beautifully appointed home that was built in 2021 and custom-designed to host vacation travelers.

You'll love the premier location that allows you to park the car during your stay and walk to all of the nearby amenities:
- South Beach / Lighthouse: 3 blocks
- Kids’ Corner Park: 4 blocks
- Kal-Haven Downtown Trailhead: 4 blocks
- Splash Pad: 5 blocks
- Downtown: 6 blocks

Perfect for families and groups—sleeps 12 comfortably across multiple suites and a fun bunk room. Your group will enjoy the open floor plan, basement bar, bunk room, kids’ playhouse, double porch in front, and private patio in back. Spacious 2,600 sqft of space with 10 ft ceilings on the main floor and 9 ft ceilings on the second floor. Second master suite on main level for convenience to guests of all ages / abilities.

Outside the home is an outdoor shower for washing off after visiting the beach, a gas fire pit to keep you warm on cool nights, and a hot tub for relaxing under the stars. The hot tub is open and professionally maintained year-round. Beach chairs, umbrella, and toys are provided for your use.

We’d love for you to be our guests in this 2021 custom built home! Book your unforgettable South Haven getaway today—summer weeks fill fast! Weekly rentals are required during the peak summer weeks.

Home is professionally cleaned and sanitized by the expert staff at Clean Slate Housekeeping, using all natural green cleaning products and following strict CDC guidelines.

This was our second stay at Haven Haus, and we loved it! We have a group of all girls, so all the bathrooms are perfect. We also love the mud room for shoes and coats, and the pantry is a huge plus!

We planned to use it but we weretoo busy visiting, eating, playing, and shopping. Our stay was great. The only recommendation we would make is to have a rail on the steps going to the front and back door.

The house was perfect for our family. It’s a great location to walk to town, the beach, or the park. We used the wagon and beach chairs provided which were in great shape!The house was clean and very nice. The hot tub was a bit perk for our kids. Jessica was very responsive and a great host!

Family Vacation

Our family of nine enjoyed all of the amenities of Haven Haus. Having private bathrooms was a hit. Everyone also relaxed in the hot tub throughout our stay. We liked walking to the beach and downtown area.

Cleanest vrbo I have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect. Check in and getting in was so easy! Everything was spotless and just so charming. The location was also amazing being a less than 10 minute walk from the beach and town made for great connivence so we didn't have to drive at all! Would 10/10 stay here again.

Summer Getaway

This was a family summer vacation. This house is fantastic. Relatively new construction and close to all the areas to visit in South Haven. It is big enough to comfortably host more than one family. The owners were very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed for the stay

Good - not great

Nice place with plenty of space, nice location, helpful and kind owners that were very responsive. It was clean with some ‘extras’ for the beach in the garage. A few details were lacking - pot holders for the kitchen, beds and pillows were ok at best, comfort of the deck furniture were not not the best.

Great Spot in South Haven

The location of this vacation home can't be beat. Everything's within walking distance yet the neighborhood is very quiet. The home is designed with multiple comfortable gathering spaces and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with many thoughtful touches. Strong WIFI signal. Communication with the host was great, and there was a detailed guidebook available in the home and online.

Amazing!

Such a beautiful house, and well designed. We loved all the storage, especially the back entry way and the big pantry. When you have a group of 12 women, all the bathrooms are a huge plus! The owners were fantastic to work with, and we love the quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach and downtown.

Wonderful friends getaway!

What a beautiful house! This new home was even more beautiful in person and perfect for our 4-day stay in South Haven with friends. Cooler fall temps encouraged us to use the fire pit and hot tub, as well as the gas fireplace while we watched college football games. The house is situated just a few blocks to the beach and restaurants.

Everything you need for a great vacation!

The Haven Haus has everything you need and more! Jessica paid attention to every detail with the toys/playroom/bunk beds for the kids and the extra toiletries in case you forget something. The communication was great and our check in request was accommodated. The house was very clean and we felt right at home with the welcome note and present. The location was perfect with just a quick walk to the beach, park and downtown South Haven. We’ll definitely be looking to come back next year!

Incredible!!

This house is perfection!! We stayed with some extended family (8 adults + 3 kids) and had more than enough room. Everything was so clean, modern, and comfortable. The location is walking distance to the beach and downtown- which made it really easy with kids. The hosts were easy to communicate with and friendly. They didn't miss any details building this gorgeous home; we loved it!

Amazing Little Vacation

Communication with them was wonderful! Pictures are accurate, clean, plenty of towels and even a goodie bag! House was able to fit 12 adult women with no problem. Short walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. If you’re looking for a place to stay, I highly recommend the Haven Haus!

A luxurious & easy getaway from Chicago

We really enjoyed our stay at Haven Haus this January! The house is gorgeous, well stocked, and in a lovely location. The kiddos in our group adored the bunk beds, the play space under the stairs, and the toys provided at the house. The owners were great to communicate with and check in was super easy. They even left us a lovely bag with snacks and a local card to welcome us to the home. We'll certainly be back!

We fell in love with South Haven during our first visit in 2015, came
back at least once every following year, and were determined to
someday have a place of our own. Then in the summer of 2019, we
found this great piece of land that would eventually become the
home of The Haven Haus.

We've made so many wonderful memories in this beautiful town,
and enjoy sharing it with others.
