This stunning 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom townhome in the beautiful Storey Lake Resort community offers stylish furnishings and all the comforts of home, making Golden Palms Retreat the perfect getaway for your family in Orlando.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, pendant lighting, and a breakfast bar with seating for four. All cookware and utensils are provided, making it easy to prepare everything from quick snacks to full family meals. The open-concept living space flows seamlessly into the great room, featuring a formal dining area for six and a contemporary living area with a sofa, love seat, and TV..

Downstairs, enjoy a guest suite with a King-size bed and TV, while upstairs hosts the Master King suite, two Full beds, and a Star Wars-themed room with two Twin beds. Step outside to the private splash pool and patio, complete with outdoor seating, the perfect spot to relax and soak up the Florida sunshine.

• POOL HEAT:

Heating is available for $35 per day (plus tax) with a 5-day minimum and must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. Please note the attached spa is not a hot tub—it does not have jets, and it heats to the same temperature as the pool, not exceeding 90°F. The heating system uses heat exchange, which does not operate in temperatures below 50°F. No refunds will be provided if the pool does not reach the desired temperature in cold weather.



• GRILL:

Please note. Some of our homes may be pictured with a gas bbq grill or outdoor built in grill. If guests wish to use the grills, it is the guest's responsibility to clean the grill and replenish the propane tank if needed. A $50 charge will be applied if grills are left unclean. Exchange refill propane tanks can be purchased at numerous local locations. If the grill is locked up, then it is not to be used by guests as it is the homeowner's personal grill. If you would like to have a grill for your vacation, we can arrange a rental grill for your stay.

It was ok

The overall stay was OK. My biggest issue is the fact that the property is not evaluated often and not well maintained. Having managed a few vacation properties myself, there is a lot of work that goes into taking inventory every time someone leaves the property to ensure that everything is working properly and that the unit is fully stocked and ready for the next renter. The kitchen is very understocked. There is not enough pots or pans or other kitchen accessories for that matter. The blender had to be replaced during our stay, the hand mixer started smoking when we tried to use it and the dishwasher barely worked.Upon entering the unit, we realized most of the remote controls for the televisions are missing, the Wi-Fi box was unplugged and took 24 hours to come online and work properly, all the blinds are broken so there’s no privacy, and the beds were very hard and squeaked HORRIBLY with every move you made.The community is awesome and the fact that you have access to the amenities is great! And the unit itself has a lot of potential if looked after a little better. The space was perfect for the size family I have, however, I would not choose this unit again. The communication was excellent, I must say that. But due to the aforementioned issues, it did not make for the most comfortable stay.

Pretty Discusting

The only good thing about the place is probably the location. When we arrived, it was pretty late, and my kids where exhausted from travel. They pretty much found a bed and went to sleep. My wife and I checked out the place more, and it was not clean. So unclean we were tempted to leave that night. I contacted VRBO, who said I should wait until the next day as the host has 24 hours to respond. The host did late morning and sent a cleaning crew to the house; we left for lunch while they were there. When we came back, it was about 10% cleaner. The couch was so gross no one wanted to sit on it. We noticed later the ceiling had water damage in a closet and it looked like something was growing there. I would not recommend staying at this property or any by this host, as they responsiveness is ridiculous. I also do not believe I'll use VRBO anymore, as their assistance was also poor.

Nice, but needs some TLC.

We liked the location and also having the private pool and community pool. The unit is nice but needs some TLC. Upon arrival I noticed the counter tops weren’t clean, like sticky syrup(yuck). The couch had crumbs on it and so did the rug. The table was nicely decorated but had sand on it. The master bathroom trash can had trash in it which was gross bc it was womanly disposal items. Our first night one of fire alarms batteries went bad and it started chirping(yah so annoying). So early morning hours my husband had to run out and get a battery which was $13 at nearest location. I contacted the owner about all of this and never heard back. We will not rent from this particular owner again. The blinds on the large living room window are broke and also the ones that cover the sliding glass door. Not just broke but missing most of the blinds. A couple of light bulbs were out as well.

Storey Lake Resort

Our stay was incredible! The property was exactly as pictured in its listing. The resort clubhouse was a huge hit with the kids (ages 9, 12, 16) and the adults loved it too! Overall, it was a fantastic place for our family to stay and have a great time together. Will be booking again in the near future!

Super easy access to all Disney parks with tolerable traffic! Shopping and dining close by too!! Your townhome had all the necessities for a totally enjoyable vacation! We will definitely stay here again!!

Nice Clean Place

Overall pleased with our stay. There was some unusual activity in the parking lot late at night, a couple of nights and that was concerning but the inside of the unit was just as described and very clean. Community was not as safe as I had hoped for.

Place was nice but upstairs was extremely hot and not comfortable for sleeping.

Garbage was also all over the properties waiting to be picked up.

Amazingly Spacious

The property was much bigger than anticipated. Everything was nicely decorated and clean. I didn’t read the fine print so I didn’t realize I needed to bring my own dish detergent, hand soap, and extra paper towels, tissue. This wasn’t that big of a deal as the target was only minutes away! I have already booked my next stay at this resort! Thank you!

Close to Disney, but Loud

When we arrived there was no internet or television which took several days of back and forth to resolve. There were also a few spills on the walls and on the floor in the kitchen. Overall the home itself was nice. There were also lots of loud parties in the neighborhood well into the night on the weekends.
