This vacation rental welcomes up to 2 dogs per reservation year-round.

Cozy cabin feel that has a newly installed Kitchen, new flooring on the first floor and an electric fireplace. Private pool. CCTV with basic cable, wireless internet access, baby gate, and highchair/booster. Front and rear decks. The front has ocean views and the rear offers spectacular views of the marsh with patio table and chairs! Covered area under house with picnic table and plenty of room to play. Enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water. Pet friendly. Park grill! Secure storage area with beach wagon, chairs and toys plus room to store your own gear.

Owner also owns Glide Path at 3612 West Dolphin Drive. Rent both properties and receive a 5% discount (call the OIA office and mention this discount at time of booking).

The home was very comfortable place to stay. The only down side would be the stairs but that is an issue most places. I would definitely recommend this destination to anyone who wants a short walk to the beach or a wonderful pool to relax in after the beach. Pet friendly was definitely a plus!

Great house and is exactly as described. The location was perfect with close beach access. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

This property is amazing. It is at the quieter end of Oak Island and that was perfection for our annual family vacation. It has the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a rental. The property managers were quick to remedy the one small issue we had. I would stay here again in a second.

Perfect Beach House

The Salty Dawg was the perfect house for a beach vacation. Great location that is one block away from the beach, amazing pool, house is spacious and nicely decorated. The house has great decks for sitting out and comes with an assortment of beach chairs and toys. Awesome house. Thank you for letting us stay.

Awesome ! beach house highly recommended

Me my husband and our French bulldog spent 3 nights in this newly renovated beautiful home just steps away from the beach. Check in was very easy we had a door code and that was it.The home was very clean and welcoming the kitchen had everything we needed we loved the outside decks especially the back one you can enter from the bedroom and have full view of the pool area they had rocker chairs on the back deck they also had a full table with several chairs around it on the back deck we ate out there it was very nice.Loved the pool and the pool space nice and new Great outdoor shower very easy to rinse the sand off of us and the dog We will definitely be staying here again next time we will bring our adult kids and our grandkids this house has 4 nice bedrooms with lots of sleeping space the 2 bathrooms are very nice as well Thank you we had a very nice time in this rental home

Fall Break

I rented this property for myself and my two dogs for a short break. The rental, check-in and check-out process went very smoothly; professional management service. The house does look "lived in" in several places, but overall it was clean and everything we needed was there. The house was great great for an offseason trip, very few people and the daily beach walks were great. It is a 45 minute ride into Wilmington, which we did several times during our stay. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend this rental.

Perfect Getaway

This rental house is amazing. It was open and spacious. It was in the perfect location. You could walk to the beach in just minutes. Highly recommended!

Maintenance issue

Washing machine was broken. Even after two attempts to contact maintenance about it. We never heard from anyone.

Second floor bedroom covered with mold

Second floor of the house was not usable due to mold issue. Management's solution to addressing mold issue was to wipe off mold stains.
