Blue Mist Hideaway is a private cabin/chalet located in the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Community just minutes from Downtown Gatlinburg, The Smoky Mtn. National Park, Pigeon Forge & Dollywood. We aim to provide a unique experience with well-appointed details, the comfort of home & the distinctive coziness that The Great Smoky Mountains are so well known for.

*INSIDE: Super fast Wifi | Fully Stocked Kitchen | Game Room w/Pool Table, Large Smart TV and Garage Door Access to Outdoors | Several Board Games | Record Player | Washer/Dryer | Wood Burning Stove (avail Oct-Mar) | 5 Roku TV's (BYO password) | Electric Fireplace in Loft | Work Desk | Vintage Clawfoot Soaking Tub.

*OUTSIDE: Hot Tub | Fire Pit | Porch Swing | Charcoal Camp-Style Grill | 2 Large Decks | Several Lounging/Relaxing Areas.

*BEDROOM #1 LOFT ROOM: The open Loft (overlooks main living space) includes a King bed, electric fireplace cabinet w/baskets for storage, custom desk/vanity, Roku TV, vaulted ceilings and a beautiful view from the oversized picture windows.

*BEDROOM #2: Located on the main level, this room includes a King bed, lockable door for privacy, Roku TV and a private closet with luggage rack.

*BEDROOM #3: Located on the lower level, you'll find a twin size trundle (2 twins) for 2 more guests, Roku TV and a small cabinet to store personal items. The lower trundle can be lifted to create a regular twin bed or to convert main twin into a King.

*BED #4: Queen Pullout Sofa Sleeper. Please note this is located in the main living space and, therefore, is not private.

*GENERAL: Advanced Cleaning Procedures | Central AC and Heat | Ceiling fans in every bedroom | 5 Roku TV's | Dining Table | Beautiful Vaulted Ceilings | Ample Parking | No Steep Roads.

INCIDENTALS: Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash, hand soap, dishwasher pods and starter TP/Paper Towels are provided. It is recommended that guests bring additional septic safe TP. Coffee, Keurig pods and tea are always available for guests as well as salt/pepper and limited spices.

SECURITY: It is essential to us that we provide a comfortable and secure home for our guests. An outdoor video and audio recording camera has been installed for your safety and to ensure property protection. Your keyless entry door code will be unique to you and will be active from the date of arrival at check-in time (4pm) to your date of departure at check-out (10am).

PLEASE NOTE: The cabin is supplied by well water. Some guests are sensitive to the taste, so you may want to bring a few bottles of water just in case. We also have a septic system so guests are reminded to please be mindful of using septic safe toilet paper.

Location; seemed like a nice neighborhood, not too far from Gatlinburg….took a bit longer getting to Pigeon Forge due to the mountain’est back roads….Cabin seemed a bit rundown compared to the online pictures….the host was very accommodating and quick to answer me back when I had questions or concerns!! Super nice and friendly!! The can opener didn’t work and she had another one delivered out very next day! I never could get the kerigur to work, but I probably wasn’t doing something right (it kelp saying to descale, although I was told it had just been descaled)…..I found the cabin a bit crowded and there wasn’t enough room to hang clothes for our family of 7, but I could see with a smaller family this probably wouldn’t be an issue …..we didn’t use the hot tub but DID enjoy the fire pit!! Overall cleanliness was….ok (I tend to be hard to please on this!)….even tho I brought my own supplies, the host had left plenty trash bags and dishwasher detergent(extra supplies are always a plus!)…..the fridge didn’t have an automatic ice maker (not really a problem) I was just surprised! And….Super cute it may have been, but the main(or central) bathroom shower curtains were hugging you while taking a shower lol!! So we found the basement bathroom shower much roomier….anyways, hopefully this review will help someone when looking for that perfect place to stay!

We had a wonderful Smokey Mountain Christmas! The beds were super comfortable after a long day of exploring, everything we needed to prepare meals was readily available and the claw foot tub was a hit with our grandson. The host was phenomenal with suggestions for activites and very responsive to any questions we had! The only thing we didn’t love was all the steps haha we all live in ranch style homes - that’s an us problem and absolutely would stay again and highly recommend!

Perfect place for a girls trip! Hot tub took a bit to heat, but once heated was fantastic. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a woodsy, away from the crazy busy experience. Leanne and Zach were perfect hosts and easy to reach.

This was an amazing property in a great location! Loved the modern decor in the midst of the mountains!! I have been to Gatlinburg many times, but this is by far my favorite cabin! My family and I will definitely be back!!! Host was great and so was the whole experience!!

Perfect getaway

We had an amazing time, the location of being just outside of all the activities but yet far enough out not to hear anything but nature was amazing. Our first night we had a bear visitor walk through nonchalantly and give a little wave. Everything was clean and the hosts were so welcoming with assistance if needed.

Family Vacation

We loved the cabin and area, perfect for our family of 5. Great layout, amenities and close to Gatlinburg, GSMs and whitewater rafting. 3 bear sightings in 3 days around the cabin…so cool!

Mountain Escape

We traveled for a sporting event and stayed for a family getaway. The property was thoughtfully appointed, charming, and elegant. We were deep enough in the woods to feel secluded but close enough to everything to get food and take advantage of the location. Our teens loved the selection of boardgames and the pool table. The kitchen had everything we needed and laundry was easy to tackle. Everything was well thought out. Loved our stay!

We had an amazing stay and communication with the host was fabulous! We had a few issues with food left under pull out couch and downstairs under the trundle bed but no fault of the owners- she said immediately replied and said she would address it with the cleaning company! The second day we had a plumbing issue that backed up into the downstairs shower- owner responded immediately and she had a repair guy there probably within 20 minutes tops as we were leaving out for the day! As we returned from our day out on the town the problem was completely fixed and everything was sanitized! Location is great and quiet. Cabin was perfect size for my little family and grandbaby that’s 14months old! We willl definitely stay here again! We also had visitors as we arrived back at the cabin one day, and the bear stole my cooler bag within 2 minutes of us unloading it out the car- all was fine- part of being in the mountains! We throughly enjoyed our visitors and the cabin! We will return!

Cute but Overstated Listing

The cabin itself was super cute and had a cozy feel, especially upstairs. It wasn’t as clean as we expected—there were some dead bugs downstairs and cobwebs in corners, so that was a little disappointing. The listing also made it sound really secluded, but there was construction going on nearby and no real view, so it didn’t feel as private as we’d hoped.That said, it did grow on us! We ended up enjoying our stay and even got to see a bear, which was a cool surprise. With a better cleaning and clearer listing info, this place could be a great little getaway.

Perfect Getaway with Great Amenities!

Clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, and local restaurant recommendations including Gatlinburg Grind and Red Oak Bistro. The cabin was very comfortable for our kid-free weekend but could also see us bringing the kids next time.

Great cabin!

We loved staying at this cabin! It is well decorated and very well stocked. It was just two of us for a "spur of the moment" getaway, but we could've stayed several more days without needing to restock. The game room was fun with tons of board games available. The hot tub was a little finicky, but it does work. Just check on it periodically before you plan to use it. You might have to reset the breaker according to the instructions on the display if it goes into protection mode. I know some people will automatically lose their minds if something isn't perfect, but we're literally talking about flipping a switch on the wall. No harder than turning on the light. But... to each their own. It worked for us. The location was awesome. Very close to Gatlinburg attractions and just 15-20 minutes to Pigeon Forge. The owners are very good at sending all the info you need before you get there. (Thanks, y'all!!) If you have a small group or you're just a couple getting away for a few days, you can't go wrong with this cabin.

First Time Visiting the Smokies

House was perfect for the 4 of us. Great location LeAnne was great communicating. Really appreciate the hot tub towels, and the convenience of a washer/dryer. Highly recommend.

The Smoky Mountains are so much more than just a tourist destination. There is a great depth of history to discover.

The region was inhabited by the Cherokee Nation long before European's discovered the land. The term “Smoky Mountains” is derived from the Cherokee word “Shaconage” (Sha-Kon-O-Hey), which means “land of the blue smoke”. The smoke was the "fog" or "mist" that is Great Smoky Mountains is so famous for.

Blue Mist Hideaway has been named in dedication to the Native Heritage of the land.

この宿泊施設の特徴

There are so many wonderful features to enjoy at this property. The feel of the cabin is incredibly inviting and there's something so comforting about being in the loft with the grand picture windows. Being surrounded by nature, while having the luxury of the modern world is the absolute meaning of living your best life.

There's nothing more peaceful than enjoying a cup of coffee in a cozy, oversized chair or porch swing on the deck while listening to the birds sing in the morning. Relaxing in the hot tub with a glass of wine is the perfect way to unwind after a day of adventure. Watching the sunset while warming up by the fire pit and family game nights next to the wood stove are, hands down, what dreams are made of.

We have poured our heart and soul into every detail and are so grateful to be able to share this with our guests. There are many more memories to be made at Blue Mist Hideaway and we hope that some of those will be yours.
