Welcome to Happy Trails, a spacious 3BR/3BA mountain cabin in Gatlinburg’s coveted Cobbly Nob Resort. Perched on Webb Mountain, this beautifully decorated retreat offers over 2,100 sq. ft. of comfort with panoramic views of three mountain ranges, two wood-burning fireplaces, and plenty of amenities for families and groups to relax and reconnect.

Main Level
The open-concept living and dining area is designed for gathering. Enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace, watch DirecTV on the large flat-screen, or challenge family and friends to shuffleboard or pool. The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for shared meals, with seating for 6 in the dining area. Step outside to the back deck and take in sweeping Smoky Mountain views—perfect for morning coffee or sunset dinners.

Lower Level
Three private king bedrooms, each with DirecTV and direct access to the hot tub deck, create the ideal retreat for couples or groups. Two full bathrooms on this level provide convenience and privacy.

Outdoor Living
Two decks, including a covered lower deck with hot tub, make outdoor living a highlight. Relax in the bubbling hot tub, enjoy al fresco dining, or simply take in the view. Resort pools and recreation are close by, and the setting offers the best of both seclusion and convenience.

Guests enjoy access to 3 seasonal swimming pools, pickleball courts, and the public Bent Creek Golf Course right at the community entrance. Cobbly Nob also provides 24-hour security.

We had a wonderful time at Happy Trails. The house was clean and the hot tub felt great. The two wood burning fireplaces are a nice touch. The wifi worked fine and we were able to stream movies and shows on the TVs. My favorite thing about the house was the view of the mountains, wow! We would definitely stay here again.

The host provided everything to begin our visit, including coffee! The views are beautiful in every direction and the house's main level is as if one is living outside yet being inside.

Great time!

This place is great ! I wasn’t prepared for number of stairs inside but exercise is always good. All bedrooms being downstairs was a plus. The views were great with decks on both sides of cabin so I didn’t miss any of the beauty. All the amenities were appreciated with plenty of fluffy towels etc. No bears were spotted but we had our cameras ready. 😊

We were very grateful for our time in the mountains. The view from one of the decks was simply beautiful. However, I think the ad might need to be updated. The photos were not entirely accurate of the current state of the home. Both bathtubs were moldy at the caulkline. The downstairs outside furniture was in terrible shape. The doors on the laundry room are broken and couldn’t be shut so everyone had to listen to the washer and dryer. You couldn’t walk barefoot because the floor was quite dirty. I sent an email about having trouble with the upstairs A/C and didn’t hear back. Thankfully it must have been a glitch because we didn’t have trouble the days after that.
Bedroom sheet rock repair not completed.
Ironing board
Laundry room doors are broken.
Not disabled friendly. Be careful of those slippery steps.

We had an enjoyable time. The views are spectacular but not sure I would want to climb the driveway if there was snow or ice. The pool table and shuffleboard was a nice addition for the grandsons. The communication with the owners was excellent.

Beautiful view!

Our family had a great time! Amazing view every morning to wake up to, the drinking coffee on the porch watching the sunrise over the Smokey Mountains was breathtaking. Owners very responsive and quickly fixed the minor issues we had.

We enjoyed our stay and the weather was great. We saw our animal friends from the mountains and enjoyed the swimming pool also. The cabin was as listed. It needs a few small items repaired but nothing big. Easy check in and check out! Thanks again for your help. You were very Helpful and convenient!

The house was very adequate for our family size. Gorgeous views from numerous locations throughout the house as well as the porches and deck. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book this rental unit again.

Ideal Mountain Views Surrounded By Nature

The perfect set up for our family vacation. Views are phenomenal. Bedrooms downstairs and living space upstairs such a great floor-plan. Kids keep saying they miss “their new home”. We got to see bears in the neighborhood which was a highlight. Would boom again hands down.

Great property. Very hospitable.

We had an awesome stay at this home. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Plenty to do in the area and plenty to keep us busy while at the property itself. They have a pool table, shuffleboard a hot tub. Awesome water pressure for the showers. Even left a few books for mom to read while the rest of the crew played the games.

Great stay in Gatlinburg with incredible views

We enjoyed our time at Happy Trails. The house was comfortable for us and our three teenage daughters, and offered the best views we’ve ever had in Gatlinburg! The golf course was beautiful and although it’s a bit of a drive into town and to most hiking trails, it was worth it. We ended up going to Greenbrier from there, which is close, and hiking a couple days there which we hadn’t done before. It was beautiful! The house could use a good deep-clean, but overall we were satisfied and comfortable.

Great Cabin and Amazing Communication

This house was beautiful with an amazing view. Beds were comfy, the towels were fluffy, and the host was awesome, welcoming, helpful, etc. Based on just our "normal experience" we would have left a 5 star review because we loved the cabin and the little touches. However, if I could rate more stars I would due to our once in a lifetime series of events! The area had extreme high wind alerts and fire warnings. We received a call from the owners advising us we might be evacuated - sure enough - within 5 minutes security and police were evacuating us due to a fire nearby. Owners immediately ensured we had a place to go to for the night and even welcomed/accomodated another family NOT staying in their cabin who were also displaced (Christian youth group was all evacuated from nearby lodging) that we knew. Communication was quick and they bent over backward making what was a scary experience one we can now talk about and laugh about for how it worked out so well, all due to them. Having a host with an amazing home and great views is one thing - having one that has your back if something out of their control goes wrong is beyond amazing!

All roads lead to Happy Trails!

I stayed in this home many years ago and the upgrades Stacia and Larry have made are wonderful. It has always been a great house but the views are now incredible, the new deck to enjoy that view was a favorite spot and the home had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable (which I remember and appreciate from our stay at Gypsy Road last year) the shuffleboard and pool tables were enjoyed by all and we were very comfortable here. Everyone in the family said they would definitely choose Happy Trails again.

Enjoyed the beautiful scenic views from multiple deck. Nice, relaxing house in the woods (lots of nature around including bears). Very friendly property owners and super slick instructions before arrival and during stay. Definitely would recommend!

Wonderful Views!

We had a fantastic time at Happy Trails and enjoyed everything about the property! The outdoor space was lovely and the decks included many chairs for reading and relaxing. We especially loved the hot tub and indoor shuffleboard table and pool table. Had one concern with the air conditioning fan but Stacia and Larry responded right away, even on a holiday weekend. Would definitely stay again!

Great Relaxing Stay !

Stayed at this wonderful home with great views for a wedding. Home was clean, spacious and updated. There was plenty of room. We enjoyed relaxing in the family room each night. The hot tub, pool table and other games were a plus. The hosts were nice, organized and check in was easy. The hosts checked in on us daily. 5 out of 5! Only draw back was the distance to Gatlinburg which was a longer drive then expected. I recommend driving in the day as the roads are hard to navigate. Would absolutely stay here again!
