Welcome to Happy Trails, a spacious 3BR/3BA mountain cabin in Gatlinburg’s coveted Cobbly Nob Resort. Perched on Webb Mountain, this beautifully decorated retreat offers over 2,100 sq. ft. of comfort with panoramic views of three mountain ranges, two wood-burning fireplaces, and plenty of amenities for families and groups to relax and reconnect.

Main Level
The open-concept living and dining area is designed for gathering. Enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace, watch DirecTV on the large flat-screen, or challenge family and friends to shuffleboard or pool. The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for shared meals, with seating for 6 in the dining area. Step outside to the back deck and take in sweeping Smoky Mountain views—perfect for morning coffee or sunset dinners.

Lower Level
Three private king bedrooms, each with DirecTV and direct access to the hot tub deck, create the ideal retreat for couples or groups. Two full bathrooms on this level provide convenience and privacy.

Outdoor Living
Two decks, including a covered lower deck with hot tub, make outdoor living a highlight. Relax in the bubbling hot tub, enjoy al fresco dining, or simply take in the view. Resort pools and recreation are close by, and the setting offers the best of both seclusion and convenience.

Guests enjoy access to 2 seasonal swimming pools, pickleball courts, and the public Bent Creek Golf Course right at the community entrance. Cobbly Nob also provides 24-hour security.

Loved the home it had everything and was very clean. Beautiful views of the mountains through the large windows all around. Enjoyed sitting on the 2 decks and having coffee. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels. The location was convenient.

Getting to the house on the windy Mountain roads was a challenge at almost midnight when we got into town. But when we got off in the morning and went out on the deck, the view was stunning! The house was very accommodating for four people we would definitely stay here again.

You can't beat the view here! The house was great and had everything we needed. It was so quiet and peaceful, a nice change from Gatlinburg. It was not too far from what we wanted to do (Anakeesta, Great Smoky Mountains). We also liked that check out wasn't too involved- no washing sheets or stripping beds like other places we've stayed. We would definitely go back.

We loved our stay here. Beautiful view, quiet, and the house was everything we needed. Close enough to Gatlinburg and the mountains. Our adult kids loved playing pool and shuffle board. The hot tub was nice too. The roads up to the house were a little narrow but we got used to them. We definitely would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at Happy Trails. The house was clean and the hot tub felt great. The two wood burning fireplaces are a nice touch. The wifi worked fine and we were able to stream movies and shows on the TVs. My favorite thing about the house was the view of the mountains, wow! We would definitely stay here again.

The views were amazing. Unfortunately, the house is pretty run-down. The hot tub was not working, and the HVAC fan did not turn off. Doors wouldn't close without force—front door keybad as old and damaged. The host seemed to know the hot tub was an issue, and with it being super cold, we were pretty disappointed. Been to the Smokies 5 times, and this is the worst place, unfortunately.

Our family had a great time! Amazing view every morning to wake up to, the drinking coffee on the porch watching the sunrise over the Smokey Mountains was breathtaking. Owners very responsive and quickly fixed the minor issues we had.

We had an enjoyable time. The views are spectacular but not sure I would want to climb the driveway if there was snow or ice. The pool table and shuffleboard was a nice addition for the grandsons. The communication with the owners was excellent.

This place is great ! I wasn’t prepared for number of stairs inside but exercise is always good. All bedrooms being downstairs was a plus. The views were great with decks on both sides of cabin so I didn’t miss any of the beauty. All the amenities were appreciated with plenty of fluffy towels etc. No bears were spotted but we had our cameras ready. 😊

Great hidden stay in the Smokies

This is a great place to stay with owners that really seem like they want you to have the best experience you can have. They have a great welcome guide that was handy to have before and during our stay. We definitely had bear encounters while there and it was very exciting!

Great property. Very hospitable.

We had an awesome stay at this home. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Plenty to do in the area and plenty to keep us busy while at the property itself. They have a pool table, shuffleboard a hot tub. Awesome water pressure for the showers. Even left a few books for mom to read while the rest of the crew played the games.

Ideal Mountain Views Surrounded By Nature

The perfect set up for our family vacation. Views are phenomenal. Bedrooms downstairs and living space upstairs such a great floor-plan. Kids keep saying they miss “their new home”. We got to see bears in the neighborhood which was a highlight. Would boom again hands down.
