Knutson & Associates Property Management is proud to be representing Kona Plaza# 215. It's amazing location puts you right in immediate walking distance to restaurants, beaches, shopping & entertainment right in the heart of Kailua Village.

This 2nd floor unit of Kona Plaza is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath property that is very spacious & has been a guest favorite over many years. Unit#215 sleeps 6 & features a Queen Sized Bed in each bedroom, and a pull out sofa in the living room as well, Central Air Conditioning, Wifi Access, Washer/Dryer, Fully Equipped Kitchen, Elevator Access & Underground covered parking!

There is a HUGE lanai/balcony for your comfort.

This perfectly located gem has everything you need for a stay of a few days or several months. This is the type of location you actually would not have to have a car in Kona.

Inside walls between units are 12 inch thick concrete which makes this condo very quite and peaceful. This unit has everything you need for a fun stay.

Kona Plaza Condominium Complex has a great pool with lounge chairs & 2 BBQ decks with great views of the ocean/mountain.

WHAT A DEAL! LOOK AT ALL OF THESE RESTAURANTS IN WALKING DISTANCE INCLUDING: Pancho & Lefty's, Fosters Kitchen, The Fish Hopper, Huggo's and Huggo's on the Rocks, Don the Beachcomber, Kona Inn Restaurant, Mahina Pizza, Kona Canoe Club, Outback Steakhouse, Island Lava Java & MANY MORE!!

The Kailua Bay pier is a short 5-minute walk, from which most of the boat excursions on the Big Island's west coast depart (snorkel, whale watch, dinner cruise). Safeway grocery, Longs drugstore (CVS), gas stations, Costco, and Target are a short drive away.

The location was a short walk to the pier for the Queen Lilio’kalani canoe race. It was also close to restaurants and Kona shops. The unit was well equipped for water recreation with beach towels, Fins, masks, snorkels, beach chairs, coolers, and water socks. We were very happy with our condo!

Everything was great. We liked being right downtown close to shopping and restaurants. The sinks in the bathrooms are very slow draining. Loved the daybed on the lanai it got a lot of use.

Great location! Unit was clean. Loved the spacious lanai. Bath supplies were a little on the light side. Daycare at the church with screaming children was annoying during the week if you were in the unit during daycare hours. One of the beds made loud noises every time you moved but we were able to use the other bedroom which was nice

Walkable to downtown Kona. Some street noise and daycare across from balcony. Well stocked. Water pitcher needed a new filter. Management contacted and replaced the same day.

Cockroaches in the unit

Despite being super close to all the shops and restaurants I would not stay here again. On our second day in Hawaii after being all day outside we were greeted by cockroaches in the house. After calling the support line for the rental all they did was recommend us to buy raid spray and we would be reimbursed for the product. After spraying every corner of the place we still found cockroaches the next day. After messaging the support line again all they could offer were traps for these pests. We couldn’t even cook in the building because we were so disgusted by the fact that there were so many cockroaches. After messaging and talking with the support line about how horrible this experience was and spending over a grand on our stay the only reimbursement me received was a lousy $100. DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT TO SHARE THE SPACE WITH COCKROACHES.

Although we've been to Kona several times before, we were not able to explore Ali'i drive like we did because of parking and walking distance. Staying at #215, Kona Plaza allowed us to walk around to all of the shops, visitor attractions, and beaches without having to find parking or walk a far distance. The convenience of this condo allowed us peruse Ali'i drive stress free. We also liked that the check in process was easy and our property manager provided great customer service.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The instructions on checking in and checking out were great. The unit was clean and ready to go. The location was great for being able to walk to activities and food locations. The AC units worked well too. Only thing of note is the rather small washing machine and the direction to not leave more than two loads at the end of the stay to be washed or an additional fee will be charged. When using the pullout couch and washing comforters/quilts, it would take several loads to get this request accomplished with the small machine. Overall a great stay here! Would stay again for sure.
