This 5-bed, 5-bath North Forest Beach island escape is the perfect family getaway. A large eat-in kitchen, dining room, and living room make any gathering memorable with plenty of space for meals, games, or movie night. A great spot for reading and relaxing, the second-floor loft has looked out to the upper deck. Coastal décor throughout reminds you of our beautiful Hilton Head beaches just a short stroll down the end of Pelican. Each bedroom and bathroom are spacious and comfortable. The hot tub is off the screen porch on the first-floor deck. A fenced-in pool area is just to the right of the garage. Coligny Plaza and Celebration park are just a quick bike ride down Forest Beach. This beach house is a true island retreat.

The house was great! Very clean and close to beach and shopping. Screen porch was fabulous for breakfast and dinner. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. the vacation company supplied super beach towels and left little goodies too! Would stay here again!

The pool and hot tub was great! The pool was shaded so it was nice to go there after the beach to cool off. This house is so close to the beach. It was very convenient and had beach chairs and a wagon to transport the things we took to the beach. Hilton head is so nice and relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped we were able to eat in a few nights out of the week.

We loved the house. It was very comfortable and spacious for all our family. It was so close to the beautiful beach and having the pool was very convenient. We enjoyed the bicycles and riding through the trails. Hilton Head is such a beautiful place with many restaurants.

Great family getaway spot!

This was our second visit to 30 Pelican. It’s a great location - just steps from the beach and short drive to Coligny. The pool was perfect and so convenient. Well equipped kitchen. Easy underneath parking for 4 cars.

Enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a wonderful time staying in this house. The house was very nice and it was the perfect size for 9 people. The location was the best. Located so close to the beach and Coligny Plaza. The pool and hot tub were so nice to enjoy as well. We would definitely stay in this house again.

Perfect stay!

We had all our adult children and grandkids and there was plenty of room for all of us(10). Location was excellent, pooland hot tub very nice and we all enjoyed having the bikes to explore the area. Would definitely rent again.

Very nice place. Clean, easy access to beach, bicycles and wagon for beach or streets, bike path across the street, etc... During our stay we went to play pickleball, round of golf, and dined at a bar called "The Bank". Would recomment those places..

Great family retreat

Our family of 12, including children, enjoyed our spring week at the beach. We spent time together and enjoyed exploring the area. The close proximity to the beach was essential with toddlers. The hot tub and pool were also a big hit.

Family Summer Beach Vacation

Wonderful location and the house fully met our needs. The open stairs were a bit of a problem with 3 little ones so we had to put in some safety guards but overall a great experience - loved the screen porch, pool, hot tub and closeness to the beach, Coligny, and park.

Family reunion vacation

Wow - what a fantastic property! Perfect layout for families or friends with varying ages of kids for purposes of quiet spaces for naps and earlier bed times. Tons of space and PLENTY of parking! 2 minute walk to the beach is icing on the cake!

Location location location!

Steps away from the beach and very close to shopping /dining . Beautiful neighborhood. The kitchen has EVERYTHING! We had problems with the trash company but it was eventually resolved with help from the host .

Spacious, clean, great location, a bit dated

Outstanding location just steps from the beach. Great layout for multiple couples affording privacy and individual bathrooms. Huge common area and outdoor decks. Spent most of our time in the screened porch listening to the ocean. Pool area and grill were inconvenient and felt crammed in between the neighbors house. While very clean, the property is old and it shows.Local management company was very responsive when I reported the broken BBQ. Replaced with brand new Weber same day. That’s customer service!

New Year Family Vacation

The vacation company property manager, along with the office personnel, were outstanding. The location was excellent, with easy access to the ocean. Having 4 decent adult bikes for our use was an added plus. Enjoyed biking the area. The plaza with restaurants and shops was walkable and so enjoyed. The hot tub was clean, inviting and used. We are very appreciative to have had this home rental and will return. Thank you.

Great location, great vacation for our family

Our family had a great vacation staying at this house. The only issue was two of the bedrooms were hot. We kept the thermostat were they told us, at 70°, but these two bedrooms were hot and only cooled down when we moved two of those fans inside and outside the bedrooms. The HVAC needs to be either enlarged or changed out. I realize we are in the middle of a heat wave. But the kids couldn’t sleep well from the heat.

Great house and location

Really enjoyed the house, amenities, and location. Great access to beach and other Hilton Head amenities. House would be a strong 5-star if they give it a serious deep cleaning. It is start to show wear and tear as a rental. Also, Jacuzzi didn’t work well. Notified property management, but they couldn’t/didn’t fix. Would definitely rent again.

Netflix available with your subscriptionThe streets run alphabetically down Forest Beach Drive, making it easier to find Pelican (Mallard, Nighthawk, Osprey, Pelican….. ALL BIRDS!Beach access was literally three houses away, but that is very soft sand if hauling the wagon. Go right to Osprey and you’ll find an easier access with wooden steps and walkwaysEveryone bikes so be cautious when driving everywhere Lots of fantastic shops, ice cream and restaurants Take advantage of the local tours and historic areas. Savannah is a 40 minute drive. Use the on/off trolleys to see the historic sights as well as getting great referrals for restaurants!Pool was perfect temperature in the extreme heat, but be able to use the skimmer net. We had small bugs and falling debris from the overhanging trees. Kids could ignore it and most adults couldn’t Don’t be afraid to contact the rental office. They were very kind, courteous and helpful.All beds and bathrooms were comfortable and well stocked. Additional beach towels are on 5he shelf above the dryer (kitchen closet)Favorite restaurant (casual/reasonable/great food) was Woodys Grille along Pope Avenue Favorite “adult” restaurant was The Jazz Club. Get your reservations early as they have two seatings

HHI 2024

Overall it was great. Location is the best outside of oceanfront. Easy to walk or bike almost anywhere. And we loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The only complaints we had were the mattresses. We slept in the room above the kitchen and the mattress was way too soft. And the sheets did not fit. They came off every time we sat or layid down. The twin bedroom has little airflow and is always hot. The house ovearall needs updates and for the price, it would be nice to sleep more comfortably. It would also be nice if coffee filters were part of your welcome package. You don’t know what kinds to get until you get there. All this said, I would absolutely recommend and rent again.

Family vacation

This house was a really good fit for our family. There was room enough to spread out and room enough to gather. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and screened in porch. Kitchen was nicely equipped. My only criticism is that the bedrooms upstairs. The two bedrooms/baths were very small, and this wasn’t too bad because my grandchildren stayed there. What was a problem was the air circulation. All the upstairs bedrooms were very warm. There were box fans provided, but this seemed like an inadequate solution. An upgrade to the air conditioning seems needed, or at the very least, ceiling fans should be installed in all of them.
