Just steps to the beautiful, semi-private beach, and walking distance or a short bike ride to the restaurants and shops in Coligny Plaza, 18 Pelican St. offers the perfect HIlton Head vacation spot.. Situated on a large private lot at the end of a cul-de-sac, there is plenty of room for your party to spread out. The fenced in rear yard features a 12x24 saltwater pool (can be heated October-April for a fee) with a tanning ledge, lounge chairs, dining table, gas grill, and lush landscaping that offers partial shade. Inside you will find 3 bedrooms, and 2.5 baths, all on one level. The primary features an en-suite bath, bedrooms 2 and 3 share a jack and jill bath, and a powder room that is accessed from the hallway.
The open kitchen / dining area has seating for 12, plenty of pantry space, and is well equipped for feeding a crowd. The living area, with brand new furnishings, is spacious and comfortable. Access the pool from the bright and cheery sunroom, which features a futon sleeper, and washer/dryer access as well.
Bonus is the detached garage which houses ping pong and foosball tables, and all the beach equipment and toys. And above, is the 4th bedroom, with 2 twin beds and a king, along with an en-suite full bath, providing plenty of flexible sleeping space.

This home was ideal for our family of grandparents, our kids/spouses, and small grandkids. We had a fantastic time visiting the beautiful close-by beach and the pool was perfect. The home is well-stocked and met all our needs - we’ve already booked it again for next year.

Loved our stay here

We had such a wonderful stay here. The location and proximity to the beach was fantastic. The house itself was great and looked just like the pictures. The pool area was sooo nice and relaxing. We would definitely love to come back and stay again.

Perfect Family Vacation Location

The property at N Forest Beach was perfect for our family vacation. The house was a short walk to the beautiful, semi private beach, which was never crowded. We all enjoyed the swimming pool after a day at the beach. The house was nicely decorated with plenty of space. The location was very convenient for restaurants, sightseeing and shopping. We would highly recommend this property.

Great Vacation House

This property was great for our family. The house was well kept and well stocked. We were there when a hurricane hit and there was a lot of debris around afterwards. The host was kind and checked on us and worked with her pool and yard companies to get the property cleaned up prompty. We would be happy to stay here again.

Pelican Lane Hilton Head

We rented this property for a family beach vacation. It was clean, well-stocked, quiet, and convenient to the beach which was not crowded. The back yard area and pool were beautiful and we all enjoyed cooking off after a day on the beach back there. Short walk or bike ride to restaurants, shopping and grocery store. Highly recommend.

Perfect Beach house!!!

Awesome Home!! Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Anything you made need for a meal is available in the kitchen. Gorgeous backyard and pool. Straight down the road from Coligny and an easy & short 5 minute walk to the beach. Our family LOVED this house and we hope to visit again soon. Betsy is wonderful to do busy with. Top notch owner and rental!!!

Fun Family Vacation

We had 10 adults and 3 children. The space was great for us. The home is well-stocked (we cooked most of our meals). My adult kids loved the ping pong and foosball tables. The pool was well-used after long days on the beach. We all agreed the distance to the beach was great. Neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance of Coligny shopping area. The host was very responsive when needed. We had a Great week!

Myself, 3 adult daughters, 1adult son ,son in law , 2 young adult grandchildren and 2 children were in Hilton Head for Great grandchild christening. Christmas Stay

My family and I had a great time staying at this property. The above garage room was perfect for the kids to stay in. The hosts have a lot of games and every beach item you need in the garage. It was awesome being able to use the pool in December, and it was nicely heated (which we paid for which was not very expensive). It was very clean for the most part and much cleaner than the average rental I have stayed in. The kitchen and dining room were big enough for our party of 10 people. The host and property manager were extremely quick to respond with any questions. Communication is huge and they did a great job. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we could need. There is a fenced yard in back where the pool is so that helped keep the kids contained as well. It was a big piece of property so a lot of room to run around. They also had every possible streaming service you would need to keep everyone happy or watch whatever you wanted. We would love to come back and stay here again! I was so pleased with our stay and so happy everyone had a great time!!

Great location

The home proved to be in a very quiet location within easy walking distance to the beach. Proximity to Coligny and the grocery store was also a huge plus. Two of our kids enjoyed the extra space above the garage and we all enjoyed the ping pong table. Although the pool heater had a bit of a hiccup initially, it was quickly resolved so the pool could be enjoyed the whole week. The only suggestions I would have are with regards to the kitchen and one pool item. I love to cook, so we ate in 5 of 7 nights. The kitchen seriously needs small bowls (none provided) and kitchen towels (2-3 provided) when cooking and cleaning up for 7 people. I wouldn’t have noticed if we weren’t making meals at the house though, so not a big deal for everyone. The pool loungers are in no way comfortable. Even though it was a bit cool, I would have loved to lounge on a chair and read a book, but I could only sit about 10 minutes. It’s probably difficult to find furniture that’s both comfortable and hardy enough to last at a short-term vacation rental, but maybe some lounger cushions could be considered as a compromise. Overall, we really enjoyed our time. This home allowed us to have the Hilton Head experience we’ve enjoyed in the past and makes us want to return to the North Forest Beach area.

This house was the perfect spot for our family vacation. We had 7 adults and 4 kids ages 1-4. The pool was just the right size for them to play in. We realized when we got there we would need to have the pool heated. Betsy responded in a timely manner and made it happen. The neighborhood was lovely for biking and was only a short easy walk to the beach. The house was laid out so nicely with a comfortable flow. The kitchen was very functional and the decor was themed nicely. We have stayed on the island many times and we would without hesitation stay here again.

A wonderful home, in a great location! Plenty of space for our family of eight to spread out. A very easy walk to the beach. Nice pool. The home was clean and well stocked. The ping pong table was a lot of fun with many hours of family tournaments. A wide assortment of beach toys and floats for the kids. The host was very helpful and responsive to our inquiries. We are putting this home on our favorites list.

Great location! Short walk to the beach. Private pool with plenty of beach chairs and pool toys. Separate apartment above the garage was great for family with young children. Comfortable home with ample room for our family.

Family vacation

We loved this house! It was the perfect size for 8 adults and 4 children. We loved the heated pool and the space to have meals in the kitchen/sun room. There is a nice space in the garage to hang out and play games. Since the weather was nice, we were able to walk about 20 mins to local restaurants. The beach is just a short doable walk for even young kids! Would love to visit again and would definitely re-book this house!

Stayed Easter week. The house was great for our group. The pool was excellent... had it heated and the temp was perfect. Enjoyed our stay. The owner was great to work with and quick to respond to any questions.

Perfect!

Location, location, location. This house was a short walk to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants, ice cream, and a grocery store. There is also a bike path that takes you right into town if walking is not your thing. The pool was very nice and we enjoyed the fire pit a few times on the cooler days. The beach chair were comfy to sit in on the beach. I will book this house for next years trip!
